I wish I could give negative stars but this will do. I had a negative encounter with Dr. Riaz 2 years ago, but my health has landed me back in a position to seek his help once more. BAD IDEA. I expressed my displeasure with him 2 years ago after he would not fill out my paperwork timely for my job. I ultimately had to send the paperwork to my PCP and all I wanted him to do was communicate this timely (HE TOOK A MONTH TO RESPOND). I went back to Dr. Riaz today, and he brought the incident up and continued to be rude. Please keep in mind I am the one who is sick, and he is taking my money. He suggested that I have a hysterotomy and completely ignored the fact that my iron binding capacity has ALWAYS been an issue SINCE BIRTH. Dr. Riaz then continued "take iron pills and come back in 4 weeks". My PCP and another hematologist already told me the only way to get my iron levels up would be to take IV infusions because of an intestinal issue I have. Dr. Riaz was completely unwilling to help. All he wanted to do was chastise me about the incident that happened 2 years ago - KEEP IN MIND THIS COULD HAVE ALL BEEN AVOIDED HAD HE NOT IGNORED MY PAPERWORK FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH. I am not a hateful or spiteful person and I would never want anyone in my position to be treated as such by a healthcare provider. I am aware he provides top notch care to his cancer patients but for those of us with less serious conditions - we are made to feel like we are not "sick enough" and don't deserve proper care. The genuine lack of concern was so evident, and the pettiness embodied by this man making so much money in his field - I cried the entire ride home. I wish he would have just said I don't want to help you and I don't care about you. Instead he talked over me and scolded me. I have lost faith and hope in the medical profession. My husband has been a patient since 2017. Dr. Riaz is Awesome. He cares, explains and takes time to listen. All his staff is Awesome. Thank you All for your care.

I had an appointment with Dr. Riaz today and I couldn't have found a more compassionate dr to do my bone marrow biopsy. He made sure I was very comfortable after having 2 previous bad and very painful experiences. None were as caring and helpful as Dr. Riaz. I would strongly recommend him for any of your health issues as your oncologist.

Dr. Riaz and his staff are the most passionate and dedicated group of individuals who work as a team for the betterment of the patient. I couldn’t find myself in any better hands.

Dr. Riaz is a nice and understanding doctor. He was very helpful as to my condition, and explained everything to me very well. I will definitely refer him to friends and family.

Dr. Riaz is extremely knowledgeable. He takes his time and explains everything to his patients. And, if the patient doesn't quite understand something he explains again & again in a different ways until the patient does understand. He NEVER rushes his patients in & out, keeping to a patient to time ratio. Also, Dr. Riaz. answers every question the patient brings to him that he may not have already anticipated and explained earlier. He cares about is patients and WE KNOW IT!

I really enjoyed my visits to Dr. Riaz's Office. He is a great physician and I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. He is very knowledgeable in his practice and explained everything to me to where I understood it. He did not mind answering questions and repeating himself to me when I did not understand. Making an appointment was easy and the wait time was not bad. Office is nice and staff is great. I give him all thumbs up!!!! He is great....Thank you

Dr. Riaz was so nice and assured me that he could help me. He understood my issues and could explain what is wrong with me better than I could. He answered all of my questions and checked for understanding. I know in my gut that he is going to help me and I'm so excited that I found him. I actually started crying because I have been to other doctors and none could help me. Dr. Riaz didn't rush but he sat and you could tell he is highly concerned about his patients. I highly recommend him.

I have have seen Dr. Riaz as an alternative when my oncologist, Shagufta Naqvi, was it was more practical. He was knowledgeable about my case and the current circumstances, as well as helpful with explanations and treatment.

the best dr I have ever had in my life...the most friendly, knowledgeable, caring bedside manner of all....I would recommend no other... Gregg B....
