Reviews for Mohammad D Khamiees
When I had my appointment with Dr. Khammies, he and every one of his staff were so caring and professional. It's how a doctors office SUPPOSED to be run. He spent alot of time with me! Joney is a master at pfts! I never had to wait for office or telehealth appointment. DR KHAMIES made me COMFORTABLE! Easy to talk to and kind. I recommend them!
Dr. Khamiees and his entire staff are awesome! The sleep apnea care and pulmonary care that I am receiving is top notch! So the sleep lab and office are a little dated, but, it in no way takes away from the care you receive! I would highly recommend Dr. Khamiees over the other pulmonary Dr. In the city! (No name)
Hopefully this will help anyone who needs to see this doctor. He may seem friendly at first, but he will overcharge you and do unnecessary procedures. It will be impossible to get in touch with him after he overcharged you. It literally took me seven months to get $167 back. Even his office manager was not helpful. And the billing department was impossible to work with. The only one who helped me was a girl name Kim from the office. And doctor Muhammad is very sneaky he had the nerve to call my house and ask me if I’d like to come back and see him for a follow up. I knew it was him, but he pretended to be the secretary. He was just trying to get a chance to talk to me because he knew I was going to report him for overcharging my healthcare provider. When I got my explanation of benefits statement I could not believe what he put down and charge them for. Shame on you Dr. Mohammed Khamiees! He didn’t even deserve the one star I gave him. Great experience as always. From the secretary all the way to the top doc himself.
I had a pleasant day at my appointment. The Dr khammies is so caring and up to date on the latest technology for treatment of sleep apnea and other pulmonary conditions. What can I say about the girls at the front desk? They are so professional and funny. Especially Kim! It's a great place for hometown pulmonary servics. Thank you for making me comfortable and treated me like family. I had a pleasant day at my appointment. The Office Staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The Respiratory Therapist was superb! The breathing test was thorough and used state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Khamiees was friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. He spent enough time with me to explain the possible reasons for my recent sleep apnea diagnosis and recommended therapy. The only thing that I would criticize is the office condition. It isn't a brand-new facility, and it could use some updating. That certainly doesn't have any impact on the care that was provided, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Khamiees to anyone seeking good quality Pulmonary Care.

Horrible. Schedules lots of appts and overnight sleep study and in office breathing tests. Staff have no personality. Office is dated and sloppy Don't go!
They charged me $30 and my insurance $320 for an initial phone call to set up an appointment. What a disgrace to the medical field. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!
Saw Dr. Khamiees after a clot in my lung. Took very good care of me and helped me recover. I am glad to have him on my team of doctors.

Boyfriend has COPD waited over 3 weeks for a rescue inhale or to be sent over to the pharmacy I had to call and constantly fight with the staff to get what he needs horrible time to look for a new one
In my opinion, look for another pulmonologist. Someone who doesn’t complain about how little your insurance pays and one who doesn’t try to offer medication and tests that are not needed. Also, a doctor who provides a patient with their complete records, without numerous calls to produce them.
I've been seeing Dr Khamiees for 10 years now. While I have not always been pleased by the quality of the staff in the office. Some were very rude while others such as Jonay and Fareed have been exempliary in dealing with myself. Dr Khamiees has always been very accomadating and extremely helpful and thoughtful. A few years ago I was very sick in intensive care for 2 weeks and have been out of work ever since. I have not since that time paid one red cent for my care from Dr Khamiees. He has absolved me of all that stuff including my new Bi-Pap machine. Dr Khamiees seems to have assembled a good group of folks in the office at this time. I would recommend Dr Khamiees to friends and family for any Pulmonary problems they my have. I will continue to be a patient of this Healer into the far future. Many thanks Dr Khamiees!!!! has always taken good care of me!!I highly recommend him and his staff!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible staff. Disrespectful and hung up while trying to set up an appointment HE wanted. He doesn’t even try to help you out , just prescribes medicine constantly , not even the right dose. Costing hundreds of dollars. Definitely go elsewhere
Ran absolutely every unrelated and unnecessary test he could on me. He thought I had "good insurance", but I did not and I ended up with a massive bill due. In my opinion, Dr Khammies embodies the insurance problems in our country and tries to take advantage of people.
Dr. Khamidees can be direct, however he is a very good doctor who fights the insurance companies on behalf of his patients. He has helped me improve my quality of life managing my sleep apnea, asthma and other respiratory conditions.
My husband stayed the night for a sleep study and though advertised as a comfortable stay in a hotel, it was a sleaze motel. They pulled the top sheet off so he only had the fitted sheet to sleep on, which was dirty. The TV did not work, the fridge did not work. When speaking to Dr. Mohammad Khamiees about the test results, he was an arrogant you know what!
I came in to be seen for sleep and he ran every several unrelated tests just because he thought I had "good insurance." I did not. I ended up with a huge bill because of his greediness.
I have to agree with some of the other comments here... hes not in practice for his patients, hes in it for the money. I had to go to his office after getting blood clots in my lungs for the 2nd time and I believe i only seen him once, other times it was his assistants.. He always made it known what was going on in his personal life... like how his wife was in NY getting a RV and camping supplies for their first ever camping trip. I get being excited about things, but he needs to remember if he didnt have patients, he wouldnt be going on trips! I mean, if the Dr is in the office, why cant he see his patients? yet, he comes into the room to say hi and brag about money hes spending, so unprofessional! I have been to Dr. Kamish 3 times. He is a little hard to understand because of his accent. I went to him to check my possible sleep apnea. He put me through various tests that included blowing into a hose, holding my breath then let it out as much as you can. He has a helper administering the tests which takes about 15 minutes. He gives the results to Dr. Komish and you sit in his office with him and he goes over the results with you. If you fail the tests he may ask you to spend an overnight sleep testing where you sleep in a bed in a room loaded with video and audio equipment. They place all kinds of monitors on your head. Looks like spaghetti on your skull. You then leave and come back for your sleep study. If you need it. That's when you get all the wires attached to your head. You fall asleep as normal as you can with all the wires on your head. The next morning they wake you up around 6:00 and unhook you and you leave. He'll ask you if you want or need a CPAP machine for sleeping. It could be a mask you have to use forever. Shoots positive air pressure up your nose all night. I passed the tests so I didn't need the sleep study thank God. Years ago I had to use a CPAP machine and I stopped after about a year. I couldn't stand it anymore. Today I still see him but I pass the tests. The main symptom of sleep apnea is snoring. I snore for the first hour of sleep then I'm ok. I refuse to use the CPAP machine. Keeps me awake half the night. I told Dr. Komish not to try to make me wear one so he gives me an inhaler I don't use because I don't need it. But he and his office personnel are very nice. I got to go tomorrow, I don't know why because I just went 3 months ago. I mean, how many times per year do you need a test? I plan on calling his office and ask him why he wants me again. Last time he said " Why are you here? I said "I don't know" and he sent me home. No tests or no sleep study. He's a nice person. Ask a lot of questions, he doesn't mind explaining things. Good Luck! I recommend him. Sorry about the long post but I wanted to let you know what i went through. One more thing, They no longer have a Woonsocket office so forget about the Cummins St. office. They are now located in Cumberland. Mendon Rd. Easy to find 1 large brick 1 story building. I don't have an address on Mendon Rd but you can Google it to find it. I have been to Dr. Kamish 3 times. This D. is one of a kind. my wife had a severe insomnia for the last 10 years. we went to multiple doctors before him. with multiple medications and many sleep labs and studies for long time, nothing had any effect. with his talk, explanation, psychology and psychiatry he was able to do the magic. within the first month she was sleeping during nights like a baby, and she followed up with his instructions she almost overcome 10 years of agony . Thanks GOD for visiting him and having him for us
I was able to get an appointment same day that I was referred by my primary care doctor. Staff was great and doctor took his time to explain my condition.
Dr. Sleezy. This guy is a snake. Keep your hand on your wallet at all times since all he cares about is pushing charges through your insurance company. He continually books follow up appointments unnecessarily in order to rack up more charges. His office staff are super nice but I can't say enough bad things about this hack. Don't waste your time or money on him-travel as far as you can to avoid Dr. Sleezy.

I was given this doctor at the hospital. he was rude and a lier. He only worries about his insurance after weeks of being ill he refused to fill out TDI paper work, saying nothing but lies about why. It was too much work for him. I had many bad experience with him a nice word for him is a donkey if you get what I'm saying. I feel bad for his employees they must get a lot of greif. I wouldn't refer him to any one.

HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE ON CHEAP INSURANCE HE CARES BOUT THE "GOOD" INSURANCE... PEOPLE OPEN YOUR MOUTH !!!! ND PAY GOOD ATTENTION ON HOW HE TREATS YOU???? I CAN'T DO IT BY MYSELF . HES KILLING US SLOWLY!
I've been waiting for 4 weeks for the office to send information to the sleep mask company. They still haven't received the information they need. This office is horrible for someone who "s just trying to get a good night's sleep! ! Don't recommend this office for anyone who is looking to breathe! ! : ( : (

You've heard of the term ambulance chaser? Perfect description! During a recent hospital stay, this creepy little guy would float in just after my assigned doctors had visited and would do a quick check with his stethoscope. After the third day when finally coherent, I asked the nurse who he was, and was warned to stay away from him, complete with an eye roll. He'd also visit my roommate, who was as confused as I. Sure enough...a $575. charge for Hosp. Svcs. appears on my insurance.
After a very difficult overnight sleep study I went in for my results. Dr. Khamiees came into the room and after about a minute he was called out. He never came back. A man who sat in front of a computer told me I needed a sleep mask for health reasons. While I was waiting at the reception desk Dr. Khamiees came out to speak to the receptionist. He never even looked at me. This man did not care about me at all and I was a new patient-but not for long!

i was lied to about costs and treatments and bullied/threatened by this facility i found this practice to be unethical as well as feeling they forged my results to benefit their practice not only do they have the pulmonary office they run the sleep center and also run the medical supply equipment company which forces their machinery on you even if not needed the only good part of this office is the receptionist their are 2 which I've met but beware to speak with the billing women who answers too

Horrible, no compassion for patients at all, more interested in your insurance and how they will be paid.
