Mohammad Atiq Khalid

As a nurse, I would not recommend this provider. I was assigned to him after an ER visit because he was on call, and I saw him more than five times. Each visit felt like starting over—he never seemed familiar with my chart and I often had to re-explain my history, which was frustrating. I do appreciate that he ordered appropriate cardiac tests, including an echo, heart monitor, and tilt table test. However, from the beginning, most of my concerns were attributed to being overweight or anxious. There was never a meaningful discussion about a broader differential diagnosis or what else could be contributing to my symptoms. Ultimately, through advocating for myself and coordinating my own follow-up care, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and thyroid abnormalities—both of which explained the palpitations and symptoms I was experiencing. When I updated him, his response was simply, “Oh, yeah, that could cause that too,” without any further education or discussion. Overall, I did not feel heard or supported, nor did I feel that my symptoms were thoroughly evaluated. My experience was that I had to guide my own diagnostic process, which was disappointing.

Not at all what I expected. I was a new patient because my heart doctor had retired. He always came in smiling and shake my hand. Then he would sit down and we'd talk. That never happened. He didn't even tell me what was wrong until I asked him. The check out lady wasn't friendly at all. Made me an appointment to come back 3 months later. I had blockage so I as why so long. With her rude attitude she said well we'll see after you have your ct scan. No have a good day or goodbye nothing.

Dr Khalid is always has a smile and polite whenever I have visited him. I feel comfortable and never leave not feeling I still have concerns he didn't provide answers to.
