Mohammad Jafferany

Had to see Dr. Jafferany due to a BFRB (body focused repetitive behavior). Nurse Practitioner was great while I was able to see her! Office staff is awesome! HOWEVER - Dr. Jafferany disregarded a boundary I set, violating my consent. Asked to see the effects of said BFRB, which I said I was uncomfortable with. This was not a physical safety issue, but was one of my comfort and emotional safety. Ignored this and pushed to see anyways. Walked behind and all around me. Touched my hair. It made me feel sick to my stomach. This was a violation of my consent and I am afraid to go back, but don't have any other option. I had an intense trauma response to this experience, and it makes me wonder if those who have had to see him for something he claims is his "specialty" have been hurt in the same way that I have. I cannot, in good faith, recommend him to anyone after that.

Every time I call the office for questions and concerns regarding my child, the office staff is extremely helpful and genuinely kind. Often, medical offices are so busy that they are not concerned with providing good customer service and I end up feeling like I am bothering them or that my question or concern is trivial. The office staff at JPS simply does a great job listening to what I have to say and it gives me comfort to know that they are genuinely concerned with providing excellent care to my child.

Awesome!! Office offered my daughter GeneSight testing to see what meds might work better - how are other psychs in town still just guessing!! Busy but that’s life if you’re good! Met with Gladys (s?) too and she was great too! Good experience so far thanks!

Cancels and reschedules frequently

Worst psychiatrist office ever. You don’t even get to see the Dr. Or you get a physician you like and only get to see that person once. Was taken outside and told I needed labs done. I was humiliated by being spoken to outside about needing labs. I have severe anxiety and none of this was taken into consideration.

Amazing doctor. Always listens and has helped me tremendously. I do believe he has a tough job dealing with all sorts of crazies who get upset about no getting prescribed what they *want. Just wish it was easier to book an appointment. He's very busy.

I have been a patient in this practice for 5 years now. Not for much longer. My refills are NEVER on time and there is ALWAYS some sort of confusion on the office’s end. Then when I call and wait on hold for 5 minutes I am met with attitude and disrespect. Not once as anyone there offered an apology but they always insist nothing is wrong on their end. Dealing with the office is always infuriating.

I think this Doctor is amazing. The staff is nice and competent. I went in a few weeks ago and the amount of care and help I was offered was tremendous. The office is lovely and welcoming as well - Hugely recommended!!!!

Instituted random drug tests. Directs patients to lab he just opened without giving them the option of going any where else. Fires patients without notice if you refuse. Gross violation of medical ethics.

Dr. Jafferany now requires mandatory dug testing as a condition of treatment. Please be advised: if you decline to undergo this mandatory drug testing (which is conveniently offered at the new lab the doctor opened across the street), you will not have access to appointments or refills. Though we were established patients, we were never informed about the change in policy until we arrived for a routine appointment and denied medical care. Care is half-hearted at best.

They constantly mess up or forget sending important mental medications to the pharmacy. Multiple times they have forgot by saying that it was "very busy" in the office that day to send over the medications. The staff there is either under educated or not trained on what is important on mental health of the patients. Many times my appointments have been moved without any reason the day or two before my appointment. One appointment I waited for over 1 hr and had to walk out.

Amazing Doctor, he makes me feel comfortable and in able to open up to him - not possible with a lot of psychiatrists, trust me. I would highly recommend him.
