My family member was experiencing some issues that really needed addressed. I called Dr. Office 3 times in 2 weeks and never got a phone call back. Also when went back for results of testing Dr Hussain ran copies of results and never explained any of it. Very unprofessional!

He has always taken good care of me for 17 years. He is extremely versed in neurology and is aware that improvement is doubtful after a period of time...some of the reviews I have read are ridiculous and their perception is off (perhaps because they have limited knowledge of neurology) or because they expect to get a miracle worker. He doesn't have a magic wand! If you have damage in your brain it is mostly irreparable..... this is not Star Treck and we don't have advanced technology to that extent! Dr Housain is knowledgeable in his field and excellent at diagnosis, treatment and expectations.

Apparently mental health is a joke to these doctors the earliest appointment available was in August so I would have to wait 2 months to get help what a sham and a joke so much for the doctors oath to help anyone who needs it unless of course that can wait. Waited over an hour. No explanation from staff!!! When I asked about rescheduling was told I was next to be called back. 2 people already in back waiting. I cancelled and requested refund. Never saw the doctor!!!

Dr Hussain is a wonderful Doctor. Very knowledgeable about M S. I wanted to thank Marissa for all of the help and trouble she had to go through to set up home health care. No one is taking new patients bc of COVID and is short handed. Marissa has worked on this for 4 days for me. I just wanted to thank her for all her time and trouble. She’s very nice and professional and really cares about the patient.

Medications sent in wrong Very rude Dismisses you from clinic if you tell him he didnt send in a medication or sent wrong dosage...watch your prescription The staff is wonderful. If you can get a different neurologist, I HIGHLY recommend that you do just that!!!

This doctor is rude, dishonest, extremely unprofessional, and damages health rather than improves it. He has no idea how to treat people with respect because he is extremely narcissistic. He does not explain the testing or diagnoses he give. AVOID his practice. He has had complete staffing changes multiple times and even moved his practice due to his bad reputation. Please protect your health and well being and stay away

Do NOT go to Dr Hussain. He is extremely rude, dismissive, and harmful. He turns “ do no harm” on it’s head. Stay AWAY. FAR AWAY. He is spiteful, doesn’t listen, is condescending and is narcissistic. He has no idea how to treat patients with respect. I only put one star so I could post. Jennifer Setser, NP, was excellent but Dr Hussain laid her off. He does not want excellence. Really, do NOT go to him, no matter how limited neurological providers are in East TN. Travel if you have to. Avoid his practice. ****After this doctor was, imo, outright verbally abusive and I FIRED him, he sends me a letter saying he is making me leave his practice. I would not have stepped back into his office if he paid me. My health has truly been damaged by his behavior and he continues to get away with this behavior. HIs office has remade itself with new staff over and over. Please go ANYWHERE else. PLEASE avoid him and his practice. It has been extremely detrimental to my health.

Horrible doctor. If you want to be harmed more go to Dr Hussain. He is extremely rude, insulting, condescending. Stay away.

I have back and cervical pain My mri shows at least two discal hernia At the visit dr hussain did not even make a physical exam Didnt prescribe pain medication What a terrible experience

I have seen Dr. HUSSEIN twice (so far.) I had a stroke 4 months ago, and that is the primary reason I am seeing him. I also suffer from fibromyalgia and migraine headaches, and he is also treating me for these.

If you choose to seek care from this doctor, make sure you make your voice heard in the examination room. He will not listen to you unless you make him listen. He is rude and condescending. I’m certain that he knows his stuff but he isn’t nice about it. He tried to passed off a separate medical diagnosis as something “I’d made up” once he’d learned I have issues with anxiety. After holding my ground that this was in fact a valid concern that was relevant to my visit, he still didn’t seem to believe me. By the end of the visit he asked me “do you have a counselor? I think you need to talk to them and learn to separate what is real and what is not.” The mind blowing thing is that if he had just looked at my chart, he would’ve seen that I wasn’t making anything up.

The doctor never orders test, never gets to the root case of the problem. Keeps on giving the same medication even though it does not work even though I have been on it for months. Not a great doctor in my opinion for people have memory issues, unless you want to never truly find out anything about what is causing your problems. Stay away from Healthstar doctors if you can, in my opinion they are only worried about getting your money.

This office is exceptional. I truly believe that the Morristown staff was holding Dr. Hussain and his reputation back. Since they have moved to the Jefferson City office my experience there has been tremendously better. Dr. Hussain has always been kind and thorough. He really takes his time to explain everything. His Jefferson City staff is completely different and it shows. They are wonderful and always take their time.

I would like to let everyone know that this is without a doubt the worst doctors office I have ever tried to work with. This office cancelled my appointment without telling me. I called 5 days in a row trying to reschedule and no on picked up the phone. I called at all times of the day, when they first opened, around 10, and so on. I called multiple times each day and nothing. I truly hate this man and his office for no doing there job. If you want to die, this man will leave you to die.

Staff was wonderful and friendly. Dr. Hussain was so helpful, caring and understanding. My husband had a second stroke & Dr. Hussain was very helpful & prescribed my husband some meds/ exercise with problems he was dealing with. He also gave him an excellent evaluation more thorough then the other doctors we have seen. We drove an hour and half to see him. My only regret is that we did not see him after the first stroke, maybe the 2nd one would not have happened. I highly recommend him.

The receptionist were not attendative. One hour and a half of wait time common. Hussain would not expound on speculation or prognosis of test results. Kept repeating thither his job was to only give results of test, that's all. All questions " It's not his job". Informed him that medications creating bad side affects and he wrote another prescription for same thing. Will not provide medical evaluation due to " Not knowing me before condition started. My evaluation is God's somewhere else.

The staff was absolutely horrible. Act like they are doing you a favor sitting on their butts.I called and told them my husband needed a refill on his seizure medicIne and they told me he'd have to go 4days without it...didn't care one bit that he would have a seizure if its not taken...told me to take him to the er....DO NOT GO TO THE MORRISTOWN OFFICE. NOT MET ONE NICE ONE YET THAT WORKS THERE
