I was referred to Dr. Etminan by Dr. Caroline Burnette who was my pain management doctor and have treated me with epidural steroid injection for Sciatica nerve pain but this was not working for me any more . My MRI showed herniated disc. Dr. Etminan worked me in as quickly as he could and performed the needed surgery. As soon as I woke up the pain was gone! But unfortunately the pain came back 2 days after. He asked me to go to Memorial Herman Sugarland ER, where I encountered a horrible care ordeal with this ER doctor and NP and Nurses on duty that day. Very on compassionate professional staffs from floor nurse's to charge nurse and the so called director of ER with no empathy in them at all . They delayed orders Dr Etminan gave to them, making me believe he was not communicating with them and they just left me cold turkey in pain till about 5:30pm since 9am in ER before I received the treatment order Dr Etminan had sent in for me to ease my pain, mean while my incision site was soiled wit blood, they didn’t even bother to take a look at it till I was discharged to at least reinforce the dressing. And when I called Dr Etminan office to speak with his Nurse Ms. Sharold who is a very well mannered and completely a professional nurse at best at what she does , Tiffany will not pass on my call to her, would talk to you very rudely not professional at all, if only you could get in touch with Nurse Sharold it would be better and she will relate your issues with the doctor and receive the good care from him you needed. Dr. Etminan is very good at what he does best but Post-Op care and communication with his patient should be improved and done better especially after you have reoccurring problems couple of days after your surgery. I thank Dr Etminan for his Excellent service he performed on my surgery and now feeling much better and Ms Sharold his nurse is a wonderful God sent woman, with excellent professionalism, thanks to both of them. Be Aware and find another doctor. They schedule my husband for 4 pm on Friday 05/05/2022 but when we went to the office the front desk said your appointment was for 3 pm and we can not see you anymore. She said the Dr is 3 hours behind his schedule!!! How a Dr can be 3 hours behind the appointments? We find out they schedule many patients for the same spot!!! We drove 15 miles to go there and she reschedule us for Friday at 9 am on 05/06/2022. We take the appointment but on our way to go back home, My husband received an email that said your appointment is for 11:15 instead of 9m!! He called them and told them you are doing the same mistake with my appointments how you can provide me a card that said my appointment is for 9 am but the email said a different time??? Tiffany said Dr don't want to see you and take your business somewhere else!!! This is not customer service and they treat us so bad. They were not sorry for their mistake. Their scheduling is awful and please be careful if you have a hard time moving also they don't care how many miles you have to drive. Front desk nice, Nurse in the back, rude, not friendly, and terrible customer service. Gave me an unpleasant feeling and makes me feel like my business is not appreciated. Thinking about changing to a new doctor. Worst experience ever.

Dr. Etminan performed surgery on my uncle in 2007, and he hasn’t had any neck issues since! He had such a great experience that he highly recommended him to me. I have undergone 3 back surgeries since 2019 with a different doctor, but I’m still in such excruciating pain - which my previous doctor couldn’t explain. Just one visit with Dr. Etminan and he noticed something “new” on my MRI/CT that helped explain my unbearable pain. I am beyond grateful that I established care with Complete Spine Center! I have experienced nothing less than top notch care from Dr. Etminan and his team. Everyone is so friendly, compassionate, and organized. And, I love how Sherold and Tiffany are always smiling and willing to help me. Having a surgeon like Dr. Etminan who has taken his time during our visits to establish the best care plan for me, listens to my concerns, and explains the next step has been extremely reassuring to me. It’s a comfort knowing that I’m in the care of such an awesome surgeon!

I had an appointment at 4 pm at his Sugar Land location. When we arrive at 3:50 pm after 15 miles of driving. The first thing that I enter his office area was about 14 patients waiting in the waiting area. I personally did not see this situation in any other doctor's office. When I check in, they simply said that we are behind the schedule and we can not accept you! I was waiting about three weeks, this is not the way you treat patients. After a while, the manager came and told me that all I can do is to schedule you tomorrow in the Katy location! They gave me a business card and wrote it down for 9:0 AM on it.A few minutes later I got an email that they schedule me for 11:15 AM! So I call the office and ask for her name this time for reference (Tiffany) and let them know that I was there a few minutes ago and you guys tell me to come at 9 AM but schedule me at 11:15. She said I talk to Dr. Etminan and he said take your business somewhere else! So I bring my business here to share.

I was referred to Dr. Etminan by Dr. Vala for a herniated disc. Dr. Etminan worked me in as quickly as he could and performed the needed surgery. As soon as I woke up the pain was gone! Thank you so much to Dr. Etminan and his wonderful nurses in the office!!

I had double fusion neck surgery. I thought Dr Etminan was excellent. He was not quick to suggest surgery, as some surgeons are, but rather had a preference to exhaust other alternatives prior to making that suggestion. Once that decision was made, he moved very quickly to get me scheduled and done.

Dr Etminan is amazing. He tells it like it is! I love that. His nurse Sharold is the absolute BEST PERSON EVER! I couldn't have gone through 2 surgeries without all of her help. Dr Etminan is surrounded by a wonderful team. You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Etminan and his staff are excellent! I had chronic neck pain due to 2 herniated discs in my cervical spine. Dr. Etminan was open to trying many different options to help me. Worse bedside manners. Totally dismissed my concerns and right away wanted to give me a pill without asking anything regarding my pain or when it started. I forced him to have that conversation and then he asked two questions and was done. And the staff is just as bad as he is

His office schedules multiple people for the same appointment times.

BEWARE...FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR...THIS ONE DOES NOT CARE!!! Was admitted to Memorial Herman Hospital by the ER doctor so that I could get an MRI. Etminan ended up being my doctor but NEVER BOTHERED TO COME IN TO SEE ME. ONLY SPOKE TO ME ON THE PHONE AND REFUSED TO ORDER ME AN MRI LIKE. The whole reason I was admitted on Friday was for the MRI....then I had to stay longer for the anesthesiologist because I needed to be sedated for the MRI due to severe claustrophobia....but because of this doctor (who couldn't even be bothered to see me in person), I got charged for 2 nights in the hospital being pumped full of pain meds under the impression I was getting an MRI....I never got the MRI, AND STILL LEFT THE HOSPITAL UNABLE TO WALK, STAND, OR SIT AND IN SEVERE PAIN WITH RESULTS FROM A CT SAYING CONDITIONS I KNEW ABOUT BEFORE I WENT IN (THAT WEREN'T BOTHERING ME BEFORE HAND SO I KNEW THERE WAS MORE THAT NEEDED TO BE FOUND THROUGH THE MRI) BUT THE DOCTOR REFUSED TO LISTEN TO ME!!! INSTEAD, I GOT A SCRIPT FOR PAIN PILLS AND MUSCLE RELAXERS. I took my mother to Dr Etminan for her back pain problem. Wait time was ok as doctor hardly sees patients. Front desk staff wasn’t quite friendly. Doctor got us out in like 10 min without identifying the root cause of my moms back pain, which was osteoporosis. What’s the point of seeing specialist if he is just going to give you steroids and not identify the root cause. He didn’t even look at Ct scan quoting “my internet isn’t working”. I can’t imagine such an incompetent doctor i have ever met. You will just pay for the visit and gain nothing! Such a waste of time and money, and frustration! I am having problems with my lower back and a bursitis in left hip which caused me to have terrible pain down my leg and a limp!!! I never had major surgery before. Turns out I needed back surgery; Vertebrae fusion, etc. The doctor explained the before and after so I understood, and felt at ease. The staff at three different locations are great. Very personable, friendly, and extremely professional. All my appointments, prior to and post surgery were timely. I didn't have to wait. Staff is wonderful. Very caring and understanding. Dr. Etminan is an excellent surgeon! I was 75 when Dr. E did a spinal fusion of my lumbar area. I had been in pain most of my life. Dr. E said he could repair all of my issues, which he did. I am now 80 and I am so thankful that I have Dr. Etminan as my doctor. His new offices at 59 and 99 are extremely clean and inviting. Terrible, in fact so bad that I never got in to see him. I could not get past the front desk monster "Tiffany". I was sent originally to the location in First Colony on a Tuesday. After taking the day off work, i went down and they told me the doctor doesnt come to First Colony on Tuesdays, i was supposed to be in Katy. My voicemail listed the office in First Colony for my appointment. I called Tiffany at the Katy office, she basically attacked me, hung up on me and would not let me call for two days. I called back a week later and she informed me she had spoken to Dr. Etminan for me and he refused to see me as a patient due to my rudeness.. However, I was never rude to her. I have a problem with my neck..i cant see the doctor because Tiffany doesnt want anyone to know that she sent me 50 miles out of the way and made me waste a day off. So she just cuts me off. Dr. Etminan is a very, very special surgeon that I have been with for 16 years. His approach has always been to do what's necessary and nothing more. Through 3 operations (spinal and SI joint fusions) I have experienced the best care I could have imagined. I have referred numerous people to Dr. Etminan and never had negative feedback about their experience. With respect to each of my surgeries, Dr. Etminan ensured that other remedies would not work before committing to the surgery. He provided me options on treatment and referred me to other doctors for their opinion. In my opinion, his ethics are above reproach. If you're having back pain and want an honest and accurate diagnosis, please see Dr. Etminan. Thank you Dr. Etminan, Sherold (a very special lady), and all the staff. I have a quality of life that has seemed impossible multiple times before my treatments.

Very professional, yet caring and attentive to patients. The staff was great as well. I was most impressed that after my procedure, the doctor himself called to check on me. That’s not something that happens very often anymore.

Dr. Etminan did a great explaining to me what was going on with my back. He was very good at explaining what he felt needed to be done. His staff was great also.

Best choice I made to see him back in 2008. He has had all the right medical treatment for my spinal issues and the last one was surgery. Best work done with all the possible care before and after surgery. Highly recommended Dr Etminan!

There is simply no Dr , office personnel or surgical team as competent and caring. If you truly need a spinal procedure or a frank professional opinion on your spinal health then Dr Etminan should be your preferred choice. I left the surgery feeling like I had new friends and a positive outlook. I am a hardcore athlete , a little old in the tooth , however he put me back together again for the second time. I was suffering for years of back pain and sciatica. I met Dr. Etminam in 2015 and after several consultations, he decided to do a lumbar laminectomy. Usually patients are 70-80% pain free, but in my case was 100%. As of now, 2020, I never ever had pain on that area. I have had back pain for over half my life. I was finally pushed by my doctor to go see a surgeon about options and she recommended Dr. Etminan who her mother sees. I was not interested in surgery at my age but went to see him anyway. I am so glad I did because Dr. Etminan changed my life! He explained that we could do stem cell injections to help my pain without spine surgery or having metal put in my back. He genuinely cared about my problem and he even said "If you were my daughter I would do this..." which made me feel extremely at ease. I had the procedure July 2019 and I have been completely pain free since. I have recommended him to many friends and will continue to do so. Dr. Etminan performed spinal surgery on me in November 2013. After a relatively short recovery period, I was able to return to all of my normal activities. 7 years later, my left leg and hip pain, which had caused me to take a leave from work and prevented me from walking more than about 100 feet, is still gone! Great Doctor, good listener, and certainly corrected my problem after injections, pills, and therapy failed to give me relief.

dr etminan saw my 18 yr old daughter. he was awesome from the first appointment to the surgery and now in recovery. very professional, explained things well and very caring. we also love his nurse!

After seeing eight doctors throughout the Houston area, I chose Dr. Etminan for my multiple-level cervical spine surgery. He was the only one that thought outside the box and proposed a procedure that (1) preserved my full range of motion and (2) wasn’t guaranteed to cause instability requiring further surgery. The surgery was nothing short of a miracle. The debilitating pain I was experiencing improved immediately and the recovery was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.

He has been my doctor for years and has always told me honestly what needs to be done. I had surgery on my lumbar after years of him telling me I needed it. I wish I had listened to him sooner. I feel so much better now.

I had received other opinions about my back pain without gaining the confidence to move forward with any suggestion. Within a very short period of my initial visit with Dr. Etminan, I was convinced that I had found the 'right' doctor to correct the problem. I have not been disappointed since the surgery and have already shared his name with others.

Dr Etminan is such a great surgeon. He was very conservative during my evaluation but did opt for doing my surgery. After 6 years in pain I feel better. His entire team did a fantastic job just like him. I highly recommend him!

I have never written a negative review, but my experience with RBJ/UT was outrageous. I liked Dr. Etminan, but RJB/UT would only approve my MRI at Memorial Hermann. After many phone messages from me and my advocate at Methodist, neither receiving a return call. 3 weeks later (after MRI), I was told Dr. E wouldn't be available for 2 weeks to read the results. And to go back to pick up MRI pics. 6 weeks later, I waited 1.25 hours, no explanation, no apologies. I cancelled and will not return.

If you have chronic back problems this doctor may be a good doctor for you to see. If you have had an accident then stay away from this doctor. My physical therapists have all said that he is not a good doctor for patients that have been involved in an accident. I would agree. He was very quick with his diagnosis and he appeared to be in a rush to get me out the door to pay my bill. He seemed bothered that I was asking more questions about my injury. It was almost like he didn't care.

I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with Doctor Etminan. Where do I start? His knowledge, skill as a surgeon, bed side manner all first class. I would and have recommended him to family and friends.

Dr. Etminan provides all the pertinent treatment options thoroughly and tries to be as conservative as possible before proceeding with surgical interventions. I know many people that have surgery performed by him with excellent results! Highly recommend him.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for Dr. Etminan and his staff. I would give 5 stars starting with appointment scheduling - the simplicity and time availability is wonderful. There is no waiting for weeks on end, not to mention 2 locations to serve you. The staff is professional, compassionate, and efficient. Dr Etminan repaired my back and life. I am finally, since 2006, 3 previous back surgeries (not Dr Etminan), able to walk, sit, work, pain free and have begun to enjoy life again.

I would highly recommend Dr. Etminan to others. He is professional and walks you through your options and does not go straight to performing surgery. His surgical skills are top notch and I would see him again if medically necessary.

I have know and been a patience of Dr. Etminan for 13 yrs. Thru this time I have had 5 different surgeries due to osteoporosis and adult scoliosis. Dr. Etminan has been treating me and my family non operatively for the past 12 years. He has shown nothing but caring. He is very conservative and tries all non-operative measures before proposing anything more aggressive. I trust him completely.

Do not let this doctor do your back surgery. My fusion failed and I am in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. He did not tell me about the possible side effects or problems that can occur from a fusion surgery. Beware!

I was under Dr. Etminan's care for about 1 1/2, from the first visit to the last follow up Dr. Etminan took the time to listen, respond, explain to my every question, thought, concern; Sometimes more than once. I had complete confidence that Dr. Etminan was the right doctor to treat my spinal injury. I have been pain-free and back to my normal, active lifestyle for 6 months now. I have & would recommend Dr. Etminan as an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Etminan clearly defined my condition,and possible surgical outcomes for right discectomy procedure. I had the surgery March 24, 2016, and feel like a new pain-free person ! I also believe that support staff reflects the doctor's standards, and they are outstanding! Office staff returned calls the same day. His surgical team, showed much concern for me by reviewing the procedure, and encouraging questions.

I was very impressed when he got on the phone and told United Health Care to immediately certify the surgery because we were doing it the next morning. 4 screws and a couple of pins.
