Scottsdale Dental is a godsend, I've been a patient for 5 years and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Karawi + staff members Rae and Maria! Dr. Karawi is a skilled and knowledgeable dentist with a heart for giving care; he is patient, generous, kind and fun. I had major dentist anxiety/guilt for the majority of my life but Scottsdale Dental changed that right from the first appointment, they make everything so easy and comfortable! I am the kind of person that struggles to prioritize self-care, this team helps keep me on top of things with an empathetic and encouraging attitude. And their excellence goes above and beyond customer service, Dr. Karawi genuinely cares and thinks about his patients. For example, Dr. Karawi remembered that I have an appointment with a specialist coming up and called just to check on me today-- upon hearing I had some swelling, the team made time for me after the usual last appointment slot so that I could come in right away to have it looked at. Scottsdale Dental truly goes out of their way to take care of people, I very highly recommend Dr. Karawi and his excellent team for all of your dental needs! Dr. Karawi is the best dentist I've seen in quite some time. I was looking everywhere for a forever guy and he fits every description. He's gentle and he really takes care of his patients.

Oh my gosh, Dr. Karawi and his staff are the absolute BEST!! I have this huge fear of the numbing shots and the dreaded drill. I'm sure I'm not the easiest patient either. Today I had a chip in my tooth and Dr. Karawi had to use the "dreaded" drill. He numbed me up and I did not even know he had given me the shot. It was pretty amazing because I was ready to feel it!! : ) He is so gentle, kind and part magician. He uses tactics so I won't feel the shots and he distracts me when he is drilling with his interesting conversation and charisma! Oh and did I mention he is great looking too! Like I said, he truly is the BEST. He is also the KINDEST person on earth, and that is no joke. I wish everyone had a Dr. Karawi. I feel so so lucky that he is my one in a million dentist!! Wowza!! I can't say enough!!

Having severe fear of Dentists my whole life...I had to see one for a loose tooth infecting the jaw bone (at 51yrs old) My Mom introduced me to Dr Karawi and his team and I was comforted from walking in the door to exit. They heard all my fears and concerns and before I knew it my tooth was out! I never felt a needle stick for numbing or had no idea my tooth was being taken out while he spoke to me. Thank you! Thank you all ???? I will be sure to return for further care. What a loving wonderful team for sure and I HIGHLY recommend them , I didnt feel like a patient I felt like family. ????❤️???????? Excellent office and staff. I called and scheduled an appointment. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating to my busy and hectic schedule. When I walked in for the appointment I was the only person there. So great on the social distancing. Clean and nice office. Not very big, and has a warm cozy feeling to it. You don’t have the fancy water falls and fish tanks. The dental assistant did a great job with the X-rays. Usually those hurt for me. The dentist was also very Gentle. Dr. Karawi was professional and patient with me and answered all of my questions and concerns. The cleaning didn’t hurt at all. And On my way out they had already checked on my insurance and I had no copays. I already scheduled my next appointment for my check up and cleaning and will be referring a couple of my friends.

This dentist messed up my smile by mismatching my front crown. It should have been matched at the lab, but I was not aware of this. I refused the first crown and reluctantly took the second, thinking I could whiten the tooth next to it. I wasn't able to whiten it and as a result my smile has been messed up for almost 10 years. My fault, buyer beware, this dentist would not make it right. Also, the last straw was when he committed insurance fraud by charging me 4 times the cleaning amount. He charged my insurance for a deep cleaning instead of a regular cleaning (I was a regular customer at this point). This dentist messed up my smile by mismatching my front crown. Miraculous person and dentist !!! Pain free experience, he puts any frightened Soul to a state of Ease. He fosters trust, that is a gift beyond his education. I would not only recommend him, but i can Guarantee you that you will feel SAFE .

I visited Dr Karawi and it was one of the best experiences I had. The staff was super super caring and nice. Doctor was very nice too, explained me every step clearly and made me very comfortable. I never had such a pleasant experience before and I would recommend all my family members and friends to Dr Karawi.

I drive up from Gilbert to see him. Dr Karawi has been my doctor for years. Not just a good dentist, but an all around good kind person. Always a positive experience every time I go.

Dr. Karawi is far and away the most thoughtful and skilled dentist I have ever had. Going to the dentist has historically been a horrible and incredibly unsettling experience for me. But in 2007 I found Dr. Karawi and my experience completely changed. From the moment I sat in his chair he made it a priority to put me at ease and educate me every step of the way as to what he was doing for my dental health. He created a comfortable environment and empowered me with the information I needed to feel safe and secure in his chair. And in the 12 years I have been working with him, the experience has remained consistent. He is always there to answer questions and get me in quickly when there’s an emergency. I've been a patient of Dr. Karawi for about four years. I'm also a dental coward and never look forward to going to the dentist. I can say after four years that I now look forward to spending time in Dr. Karawai's dental chair. This man is Super nice, Extremely good-natured, always pleasant and professional and able to talk about anything which puts a person at ease. He is so informative about what he's doing, while he's doing it. He is the Utmost in Gentle and extremely caring about his patients, before, during and after the visit. He hires the nicest office staff, and he never overbooks. I've never had to wait and sometimes I can even come in earlier if they are running ahead of schedule. I'm so glad I found Dr. Mataz Karawi and thrilled to be one of his patients. Even when I had a slight billing issue he handled it immediately himself and got it taken care of with the insurance and with me. I highly recommend Dr. Moataz Karawi . Last year I decided to change dentists, and I was very concerned about finding someone I'd be comfortable with. It came up in conversation with a long time neighbor and friend. He recommended Dr. Karawi, who he's seen for years. I have to say this is the hands down nicest, friendliest, and most capable dentist I've ever had. Had I known, I would have changed long ago. I had a tooth ache and I checked on line for reviews, Found Dr. Karawi through Yelp and they had great reviews. I called and since I was in pain, the office staff got me in when I could go in due to my work schedule. They checked on my insurance before I went in (Even though it's my responsibility and I have no idea what my insurance covers) He gave my options, I had my tooth pulled, I didn't even know he was done. Very Gentle! talked me through the whole thing. He is my dentist now!

Dr. Karawi is amazing! Honest and super friendly. Makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Would recommend to anyone

I have been a patient of Dr. K since the beginning! He is my "go to" dentist and now friend. All the work I've had done has been professional and pain free! Dr. K is very knowledgeable and thorough explaining what I need to have done and what can be done at a later date. Did I mention "pain Free"? Dr. K has been my dentist since 2003. We have laughed, told stories and of course, shared many dental experiences. This is probably the best dentist I have ever been to. He was extremely, gentle and very informative in regards to the problem that I was having. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family. He did a great job extracting two of my teeth. I will continue to see him for all my dental needs.

Hardly any wait time, knowledgeable doctor, reasonable prices. You won't find a friendlier dental experience anywhere. 5 stars.

love this dentist.. going through 5 different dentists in the last 5 years, this one is by far the best! I went there about a year ago and I never felt like I was in better hands but took it for granted. I moved about 40 min away, and attempted to use someone else, not good! I can't say enough good things about this dentist and all the staff at his office. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful. Dr. Karawi obviously really cares about his patients. He takes the time to explain everything so you understand exactly what he is doing and why. Never had a more pleasant experience in a dentist's office! I highly recommend him!
