I can't speak on Dr. Williamson, but his scheduler is not nice. She determines what is and isn't treated. Neurologists should be able to treat anything related to the brain, but I guess their treatment is selective for what benefits them. It would be great if the website relayed what Dr. Williamson treats.

I was sent to Dr. Williamson over a year ago by my PCP because I was having vertigo and headaches. Within seconds of having me lay down on the table, sit up, lay down, roll over on my side, and watch his finger, he could tell the "rocks were loose" in my head. (My words, not his.) Something as simple as watching my pupils go hay wire, Dr diagnosed me with Vertigo Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. From the very first moment I walked into his office, up to this day, I continue to be impressed with Dr. Williamson. He's a great Dr.

I have been a patient of Dr. Williamson’s for over six years. I have always been overwhelmed by the level of care he provides to his patients’. He is the most caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, gentle and kind doctor that I have come in contact with. I have Lupus and currently see 8 doctors so I know the level of care he provides is unparalleled. He actually listens to his patient, gives a thorough exam and involves your input in his patient care plan. He is a wonderful doctor and a good human being. His staff is terrific as well. I have been going to Dr. Williamson for 17+ years. He is not my first neurologist, but he is not only the best neurologist I have had, but the best doctor I have ever had! He listens and hears me, offers me options in my treatment, when available, and thoroughly explains what I need to know to make informed decisions. Dr. Williamson always makes me feel comfortable and it is easy to talk to him. Also, in keeping how he works as a doctor, he employs the highest caliber staff. They do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, returning my calls, etc. I love Megan and never worry about whether a prescription will get called in or a question will get answered. A very professional practice that maintains high standards without losing compassion for the patient. The patient and their well-being are first with Dr. Williamson! During a recent visit, Dr. Williamson took plenty of time to really listen to what I had to say and did not make me feel rushed. I could feel his caring and concern as he worked to find a solution for me. I so appreciate his time, attention and the sincere concern he has for his patients.

After hip replacement surgery I was experiencing problems with hip pain, walking, rising from chairs etc. Initially I pursued the new hip as the cause. After countless visits to the orthopaedist's practice and not resolving the problem my primary care physician recommended I see a neurologist. I went to work attempting to discover a top notch expert in the field. My research led me to Dr. M. Todd Williamson. My first visit confirmed I had found the physician I needed. He did a thorough assessment to determine the cause and formulated a plan of treatment. When he was satisfied with my diagnosis he prescribed the appropriate medication. He even recommended another doctor for additional hip surgery. I am now walking confidently and without pain. Changing positions from sitting to standing is no longer an issue. I am exercising and driving again, thoroughly enjoying a mobile life. I cannot recommend Dr. Williamson any more confidently.

I arrived at 915am as requested for my 930am appointment. After waiting an hour I was moved into a room to wait another 20 minutes. Dr. Williamson enters the room with a very dry attitude and begins to type away. After a few minutes he introduces himself. I was examined and left with no sure answer or diagnosis. I will say the ladies in the front office are very pleasant. Just not my cup of tea as a specialist. I arrived at 915am as requested for my 930am appointment. arrogant, no bedside manner. would not listen when we ask questions. He just attacked with the same question. I would not give my newborn to him. We asked about the medication he was prescribing and what side effect where there and he said there was no side effects on medication. Very dismissive and rude to me and my daughter. He asked her about her fainting and said she should know how long she was out...REALLY...if you faint you usually dont know how long you were out. We waited for a while just to get into the office to be looked at and then to deal with his rudeness. arrogant, no bedside manner. would not listen when we ask questions. Rude. Disengaged. Dismissive. Unsympathetic. After years of seeking knowledge regarding a number of aches/pains and other general (mental) health problems, I recently found Dr Williamson; the first neurologist I've met with. After an hour wait (beyond my scheduled time) Dr Williamson entered the room. His delay meant nothing to me as I understand that I'm not the only person requesting his expertise. Dr Williamson spent less than three minutes in the room, half of which was spent listening to my concerns. About four concerns/symptoms in, he asks that I note which is most bothersome or otherwise concerning. I explained that I'm plagued by most of these issues regularly and have a hard time (as they're occurring) distinguishing which is worse. He continued to reiterate his initial point, became less than understanding and not so determined to help, or so it appeared. I was truly ashamed and hurt. I knew what I said to him seemed strange but that's precisely why I wanted to visit him. The idea was to rule a few major concerns of mine out, based on other doctors suspicions, coupled with my own. He was so dismissive and unwilling to give me a reasonable amount of time to explain myself and situation. Out of fear of breaking down in tears, and sheer frustration and embarrassment, I walked out on the visit. I departed with even less hope of finding answers than I came in with. I came to you for knowledge, Dr Williamson. I know that you know exponentially more on neurological health than I could ever dream to. This is why I came to you for guidance. I also trusted that you would at least listen to my list of concerns before dismissing them as being unrelated and not the result of any of the conditions mentioned to you. If you only know of 4 of 12 symptoms and refuse to actively listen to the rest, how can you attempt to test appropriately? How can you possibly have a thorough understanding of my symptoms if you won't listen to them? It's been a very long and depressing battle. Not because I can't live with my symptoms but because doctors like you make me feel like my concerns aren't valid and that I should just suffer in silence since speaking up earned me more stress than relief. I hope whatever you're going through improves. I will continue to seek answers by way of a doctor who takes my concerns just as seriously as I do UNTIL they help me to rule those concerns out. While there's no law mandating kindness, it costs you nothing to demonstrate some. Rude. Disengaged. Dismissive. Unsympathetic. After years of seeking knowledge regarding a number of aches/pains and other … More
