Dr. Mitchell Allen Goodis

DO NOT SEE THIS DENTIST. Absolutely terrible. First thing we heard walking in the office around 11am was Dr. Goodis saying "I've been up since 2am and I'm wired," which does not bode well for a medical professional about to perform a dental procedure. He insulted myself and my family member multiple times, had absolutely no understanding or compassion for a person in a low-income situation, gave very poor discharge instructions, and left my family member in more pain. He's the only Medi-Cal provider around, but I would rather get another credit card and stop buying food for a month than have another experience with this pile of trash.

Horrible. This dentist told my 5 year old son that he will die if they don’t let him pull his tooth held him down, we’re super rough with him and he’s completely traumatized now. We will never go here again and I don’t recommend this place for anyone!

I had my teeth pulled to prepare for dentures. It took 3 hours to pull the few teeth I did have he had other patients so he was constantly leaving me unattended. I have had 37 bone fragments come up so far. Dr. Goodis perforated my right sinus and didn't tell me. I was not given antibiotics. A few days later I developed an infection and my regular dentist put me on antibiotics. After suffering from about 20 migraines a month for the past year, I was sent for a CT San which showed my entire right sinus structure to be totally infected. I was placed on Doxycycline 2x a day for 21 days by my E.N.T. After a second dedicated sinus CT scan the results show that the infection remains and that there is a hole in my sinus from a tooth that was pulled by Dr. Goodis. In approximately three weeks I will be going in for surgery to clear the infection and repair the hole in my sinus. A year worth of debilitating migraines, 37 tooth fragments and surgery to clear a very serious infection. RUN!

I would not recommend Dr. Goodis to any one. What a nightmare of an experience! He is rude and will put you through unnecessary pain. His liscence should be taken away!

I'm very happy with my experience with Dr. Goodis. He did an excellent job removing all four of my wisdom teeth yesterday. I was rather nervous about the procedure and concerned it would be painful and difficult. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and easily the procedure went, and he was even able to remove one that I expected to leave in. His staff is also very friendly and helpful. I attribute it to the skill of Dr. Goodis that my recovery so far as been virtually painless.
