Dr. Ming Tao Lai

I can never get in contact with anyone. Good thing it’s not an emergency just important. The phone message tell you to book appointments on the app. The app tell you the Dr is not taking appointment on the app. Time to find a new Dr that I can get in contact with. Going to urgent care because I can not get an appointment is not working anymore.

I’ve been a patient for 32 years never steered me wrong

Dr. Lai was competent and has obviously worked with older patients. We will be returning to him as our primary doctor. His staff were equally qualified and pleasant.

Amazing staff and doctor, all very supportive and helpful. I took my mom who has been super reluctant to go to the doctor & everyone there managed to make her feel much better & encouraged her to come back and take care of her health. Staff is very helpful... They have had problems in the past with their telephone system but it seems to be fixed now... Dr Lai pleasant and helpful...

Dr. Ming Lai's staff is very nice. Dr. Ming Lai has no clue what he is doing, he needs to quit practicing. He doesn't review his patients history before he walks in the room and therefore you have to go over the issue with him every time he walks in the rooms on every visit. He also does not listen to his patients and gives inappropriate treatment. He takes advantage of elderly patients and of the insurance companies. Dr. Ming Lai's staff is very nice. Rude, careless, he didnt listen to his patients and didnt give the appropiate treatment. I ended at the ER cause his unethical and uncare treatment. Worst MD ever.

The young lady taking blood tests is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced in over 70 years and thousands of blood tests! She used a butterfly needle in my right arm that has bulging vien and the pain was excruciating! No blood was drawn even though it fully pierced the skin. When she tried the left arm i felt pain even before it pierced my skin. Now I need to go to a lab and fast without eating again. She needs to go! Sept 2021 UPDATE: The office staff here is both incompetent and frustrating. It is impossible to call and talk to anyone, ever. Their phone system always directs you to leave a voice message, however, they fail to call you back. If you leave a message on their patient portal they do not read it, never answer any of your questions, or follow any of your instructions when you request a prescription refill. They were very helpful with everything. The dr. Was awesome

I love Dr Lai, I have. been his patient for 9 years now and can always depend on his compassion and excellent bedside manner. He takes his time explaining things thoroughly and genuinely cares about my well being. I would recommend his services to any and everyone.

I have no complaints with Dr. Lai, however the incompetence of the medical staff at this office is profound and should be investigated. They refuse to respond to any phone calls, do not read or reply to messages sent to them via their patient portal, and continually make simple mistakes when I request a prescription causing unnecessary delays, excessive monetary expense, and endangerment of my medical health. I would never recommend this office to anyone.

Dr Ming is nice to patient but his receptionist ,helpers was not like him Call in appointment don’t take I have booked online, call get results lab test make waiting then hang up the phone ???

I have been a patient of Dr Lai for almost 20 years. Dr. Lai is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. In my opinion he is one of the best MD in Brevard County. His office runs smoothly and his staff is exceptional.

Doctor lai is rude and the staff was no help. Looking for a new doctor.

I called these people 4 times today and they hung up on me each time ! Very rude staff

Seems like there is such a lack of communication between Doctors and the staff. I have called multiple times in the last couple weeks with no answers. They say they will call you back and never do.

They hang up the phone on you whenever you call, each time it rang and picked up a different way, sometimes they pick up after 2 rings then slam the phone, other times after one ring and leave the line open then slam to hang up. I called 22 times and the person kept on doing the same thing, finally Amanda answered in a mean tone, I asked why someone kept on hanging up she said “our line is jacked up”and hang up again. Staff seems nice enough, but I don't think that they care about the patient. When you try to call to make an appointment, it rings almost one time and then they hang up. What is THAT about?

Excellent all staff members, Doctor and assistant,office is well managed very clean spacious.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lai since 1998, never had a problem with him or his staff sometimes office visits we're a little longer than what I expected but I suppose that's every doctors office. Once I had my hand swollen from a cat bite Dr. Lai saw me right away.

Dr Lai is a wonderful doctor!! He treats me well and is always concerned about my health!! I have never had any problems with getting appointments as soon as I needed them. I am treated with great respect from his staff.

I'm recently a new patient to Dr. Lai and thus far, have been pleasantly happy with the treatment I receive from him. He actually LOOKS at you (though wearing a mask) when speaking of your health and he takes concern with me and my health. As stated before, I'm happy so far. I have no complaints. His staff is amazing, the front office (Amy especially) is a sweetheart. They are all very professional, informative and a caring staff.
