My primary physician refereed me to Dr. Barve after reviewing an X-Ray Dr Barve. Has been my physician for the last 5 years treating me for a Giest Tumor. She reviewed my report with the surgeon and I had a quarter of my stomach removed. after the surgery she prescribed Gleevec 1 tablet 400mg daily. The product is so expensive... Dr. Barve gave me the contact information to the pharmacy that helped me qualify for Novartis Patient Assistance program. I have been on the tablet for 5 years which has kept the cancer from spreading. She is very thorough scheduling testing for my blood, Cat Scans and MRI. She always explains everything clearly so that I understand. It is a blessing to have her as my Doctor

I have been a patient of Dr. Barve for 5 years (or more). She is very thorough and a true professional. I lived in Tarrant County when she became my Oncologist.
