I saw Patel because i have been passing out and convulsing randomly to the point it was affecting my everyday life. I tried to explain to her my problems and she just asked if I had seizures. i said I don't think so but I'm not sure because people tell me I am convulsing quite a bit when I am knocked out. She said if it's not a seizure she can not help. I then asked her about my migraines because I get severe migraines and she asked if my migraines caused seizures. I agin repeated how i answered the last question and she just repeated again that she only deals with seizures. And that was it. Keep in mind i waited MONTHS for this appointment, I really though she would be the one that would be able to help me, but looks like she doesn't want to.

my first visit offered me no understanding of my situation. I explained fully what was going on with my nerves and she did a few tests but I got absolutely no real feedback or explanation. I guess she didn't know even tho the nervous system is her speciality. I was asked to come back for another test but because of her vacation it would be 6 weeks later. I got 2 calls to confirm my appt and the later 2 days before the scheduled time. I confirmed. I then received a call 20 hours before my appt and was asked if I was fully vaxed which I said no. My appointment was canceled. I asked why I wasn't called weeks ago and received no real answer. I guess she is a doctor who thinks vaxed people can't carry the conV and continue to spread it which IS happening all over. I wasted $200 and alot of time. Best neurologist that I have ever met. She brings compassion and knowledge all in one package. I cannot say enough how much respect I have for this physician

Dr. Patel has been so much help with treating my disabled brother and her compassion is wonderful. I don't understand the bad reviews unless they didn't really explain what their symptoms were. My brother's symptoms are very severe, his cognitive abilities are not very good and she is so very patient with him and very thorough

Office staff very rude and inattentive, have had withdrawal symptoms and seizures due to their inability to communicate properly with the doctor about appointments and medication refills. Sounds dramatic but I have been to the ER for withdrawal symptoms due to front desk staff refusing to get back to me- eye rolling, sighing on the phone. Patronizing and overall seem like they hate all their patients and their jobs. The doctor is very close minded and tells me the same thing every visit, I went to the sleep disorder facility she recommended and was given a c-pap for nightmare disorder and lower my seizure threshold. I tried the C-pap for weeks and talked with the other doctors and her about how the machine had only heightened my usually PTSD-centered nightmares and night terrors. *It just moved focus of the dreams to dream events obviously correlating to the c-pap being on my face* I told her what was going on with that and she literally told me "Those dreams have nothing to do with the c-pap because you were having them before" I explained again that the dreams were different and worse with the c-pap machine. She continued to rudely doubt any of my symptoms and basically insisted I was a mental health case and she could not help me besides the c-pap. Everytime I go back begging for help and better care, e.g getting my medications on time so I don't have aura symptoms and withdrawal seizures- Very unprofessional and I do not trust these people with my health or anyone else's neurological health. They will not get you your meds on time. Overall this place makes me feel unwelcomed, broken, ripped off (Very expensive care) and rejected. Great Neurologist she takes her time to listen and she makes sure you understood everything before you leave her office. There should be more Physicians like her she cares about her patients needs. Her staff is great, they make sure all the orders and authorizations get done! She is the only neurologist in this area that preforms an EEG in her office within days everyone else makes you wait weeks. Great Neurologist highly recommend!!! wonderful Doctor! She listened to me an was very concerned and ran tests and was amazing all around . I went to see Doctor Bathchari before that and he told me that there was nothing I could do about my severe headaches , no meds no nothing at all ...... so sad , he did not care one bit.... I can only highly recommend her and her office staff highly !

If I could leave zilch stars I would. The worst medical office, I have known thus far. If you want a doctor who cares about your health PLEASE dont go here. They lag horribly on getting referrals done and just have no clue as to what they are doing. Avoid at all cost!

Was referred to doctor patel. Upon the first visit we waited 45 mins to be told we would have to come back for a ekg to be done by SOMEONE ELSE.... call me crazy but a neurologist is suppose to be able to do these things in office at the time of the appointment correct? Not doctor patel.... she has someone else come in who does the tests whom is also very scarce on avilability... effectively paid dr.patel thousands for 2 appointments which neither she was any use for except to use her office for another guy to perform the tests... she literally makes YOU wait so SHE can get paid for nothing.... I have seen Dr Patel with both of my elderly parents. I appreciate her care very much. She has given my parent thorough exams & has been "hands on". She has my endorsement.

I was referred to Dr. Patel due to episodes of paralysis, feeling like I was going to black out when I would lean my head back, nerve burning in my neck, weakness in my hands. With this & no exam Patel proclaimed her “suspicions” of sleep apnea & clogged arteries. I went to another Doctor who suspected I had a textbook case of foraminal narrowing.The CTC scan with dye verified his diagnosis. Save your time & health SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR who uses investigation as opposed to their suspicious beliefs

The wait was brief, the staff was pleasant. I was there for testing, which was as described to me by my referring doctor. EMG's are uncomfortable, but that is the nature of the testing. Dr. Patel kept me informed of every step, which did help.

I was referred to Dr Patel by a family practioner for a headache that wouldn't go away. Long story short, at the end of the exam, she told me to get back to my normal activities as that would make me feel better. I told her that all i wanted to do was go back to bed. She then told me that i was depressed and should consider antidepressants. Her diagnosis was migraines and depression. She agreed to order an MRI, but put no rush on it. Two days later I was admitted to the hospital with a brain tumor the size of an apricot. By the time the MRI that she ordered was scheduled, I'd already had surgery and was home recovering for more than a week. I've left messages with her so that I could tell her what happened, but have had no response. For many reasons, I would choose a different neurologist.
