Michelle Robin Yagoda

Dr. Yagoda is a very intelligent and compassionate doctor. She's very thorough and works with you to find out the causes of your issues. She's expensive, but I guess sometimes you get what you pay for. I've been seeing her for years and she never disappoints.

I met Dr. Yagoda through my husband who is also her patient. She is fabulous! I was diagnosed last year with a basal cell carcinoma on my nose. My dermatologist said I needed to undergo Mohs surgery. I really didn't know what it would involve and I was extremely nervous. My husband told me to call Dr. Yagoda for her advise. I reached out to her and she called me back immediately. Not many doctors would have a response time like this. She completely put me at ease, explained the Mohs procedure and what to expect afterwards. After the Mohs surgery I went to Dr. Yagoda to perform the repair. I had a sizable hole on my nose and was emotionally drained from the ordeal. She was comforting, and confident in her expertise. I knew I was in good hands. She is an extremely skillful surgeon and has a wonderful bed side manner. Although Dr. Yagoda doesn't take my insurance her office will always process the paperwork for my claims. I had a case where I needed to appeal for payment and Dr. Yagoda took the time to speak to the insurance company as well as submit an appeal on my behalf. She really went above and beyond. Having a facelift was a major decision for me. Dr.Yagoda was straightforward in explaining facelift surgical procedures as well as expenses . She was honest in outlining the final results of my facelift. However, it was not until I actually underwent plastic surgery that I fully realized that it is a very long process. Not only is the skill and aesthetic touch of the physician important, but the patient’s role during the healing process is vital. Dr Yagoda is a compassionate surgeon with outstanding technical skills , and a strong aesthetic sense. She made my facelift surgery experience quite tolerable. When was the last time you were taken on time for your appointment?! From the first phone call, to the greeting by the receptionist at the visit, to the entire visit with the doctor—- everyone is an ultimate professional!. The office is spotless and serene and you are the center of the staff’s attention. It’s expensive but worth it! You can’t get this from any other doctor even if you are willing to pay for it!!

I went to see Dr. Yagoda on the recommendation of my eye doctor who suggested a functional blepharoplasty or eyelid lift because of the extra skin on my upper eyelids and the heaviness I felt when reading. She and her staff were awesome! Her office is an oasis...clean, quiet, and zen. Dr. Yagoda was extremely thorough during my consultation and spent time explaining everything about my options and what to expect during and after the procedure. Cory, the office manager, got approval for visual field testing, and then approval from my insurer because the surgery was medically necessary. They explained all the details about my insurance and coverage and there were NO surprises! The hospital staff were warm, friendly, kind and caring at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. I had minimal swelling and bruising and basically no pain except after the surgery except for the first two hours in the recovery room. My results are amazing! I look natural and refreshed and I can read for hours without becoming exhausted. Dr. Yagoda is top notch and I highly recommend her!
