Breast reduction. Michelle and the whole surgery team were amazing.

I had a mastectomy and breast reconstruction with Dr DeSouza. I had nothing but problems. She ended up doing 3 scar revisions and 2 days after the last one I had horrible pain and fever and ended up having to have the implant removed. More than a year after my mastectomy I have a butchered looking chest. I would not recommend Dr. DeSouza to anyone.

I developed infections to the expander she placed after breast cancer surgery. After multiple surgeries she did not follow up with me during my 4 day stays in the hospital (2 times) but sent residents instead. When I developed a painful reaction (full torso rash which pealed and burned my skin) to the antibiotics she prescribed she did nothing. I was in agonizing pain for days. I had to get an appointment with my oncologist for steroids to abate the allergic reaction to medicine she prescribed. She may be able to sculpt tissue, but she does not follow up with patients or consult patient’s oncologists when something goes wrong when you are under her care.
