I called needing an appointment. Was given an appointment 1 week later. Even though I had a problem. I thought someone would call me to suggest some relief before the appointment. I was thankful for the appointment I did get. Dr. Michelle is great. Greets you with a smile and is concern. When you get to see her.
Recently called Dr. Thomas' practice to schedule an appointment for a thrombosed Hemorrhoid. When the incompetent office assistant called me back she was rude, unprofessional and since I wasn't an existent patient in their system, she told me to go to the hospital and hung up. I strongly urge people to find another practice and not subject themselves to this abuse.
Place is stuck in standards from decades ago - keep patients waiting, treat them like garbage - stack the schedule with surgeries necessary or not. Had a 100x better experience with Bayhealth C/R specialist in Dover.
Not patient-centered. Completely incompetent office staff.
Atrociously managed
One of the best surgeons I've encountered! She's calm, smart, and a good listener and communicator. I had a colonoscopy plus a hemorrhoid surgery, and she did an excellent job. I felt 100% confidence!
Dr.Thomas is excellent and would earn six stars if available, BUT...as good as she is, her administrative office is terribly mismanaged. Phone system is antiquated, no option for any Live person. 4 days after colonoscopy, with no bowel activity and abdominal pain building, several phone messages went unanswered. No return call. Beebe emergency room also were also unable to reach anyone. Result, an ER visit and Catscan to rule out a problem. Called office to inform of problem..no return call.
FIRST TIME IN YEARS THAT MY LOWER G.I. IS ABCK ON TRACK.SURGERY THIS PAST OCTOBER...SIX MONTHS IN EVERYTHING IS PERFECT
