I should have done this earlier. I had ablation procedure in my back by Dr. Perez and It went remarkably well. I have been seeing Dr.Perez since 2003, she's the best! She listens to you, and makes sure all your questions are answered. The Chastain office has a great staff.

I lived with back problems for decades. For about six years I have been seeing Dr. Perez and Resurgens. Knowledgeable,competent, caring physician, staff, and organization. Some reviews here complain about wait times for appointment, compared to other spine practices those reviewers report they have visited. Well, yeah. I suspect lousy doctors have plenty of openings.

Waited an hour for my appt told it'd be another hour. Had to go. First they could get me in was a month later. Looking for another dr.

I hurt my back 26 years ago and after surgery with Dr Daftari I was sent to Dr Perez. I would not go to any other Medical Group I trust them and feel safe. The office staff and assistants are caring also.

Not only is Dr Perez a outstanding Dr of the spine, she also over time becomes a very dear friend. Her caring for her patients cary over to all of her staff.

After a few months of diagnosing my back pain including cortisone shots, facet injections/ branch blocks, and an RFA. I had little to no relief. When I asked Dr Perez what do we do now, her reply was "Well, there's no magic wand." I went to another spine specialist who fixed me with a RFA first try. "No magic wand" was dismissive and angered me. She also made me feel like I was just angling for drugs which is totally false. She even drug tested me. Would not recommend. Her PA was very nice.

I've been a patient for 12 years, and have a wonderful relationship with the M.A.'s and Dr. Perez. My trust in her knowledge and experience is unwavering!. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, regarding their Dr.'s care, and this is mine!

Told me I needed facet injections. It took 3 weeks to see her first off. Then she wanted me to be at some random hospital. Her assistant acted like I shouldn't get the injections so I got scared. They called me back and I guess it got them mad I cancelled, so as punishment if I ever need the injections I have to make another appointment and go thru all this process all over. Not a friendly experience. Bunch of smart acting people.
