Dr. Michele Palella is in Pediatrics but feels she had the expertise to reject insurance claims in Gynecology care. She is working for Anthem to reject needed surgeries instead of spending time with her own patients and within her own field. Why would a doctor need to work a side job? Can get enough clients? If she has done any work the insurance company inquiry would have been approved. She made a recommendation for alternatives that had already been reviewed and could have had life threating consequences without seeing the patient. She should be brought up on malpractice charges and will be writing to the board she is certified with.
