When it came time to have my 24-year-old daughter’s deeply impacted lower wisdom teeth removed, it was essential that I send her to the best oral surgeon I knew in New York City. I was very concerned that this invasive procedure could result in irreparable nerve damage unless performed by an adept and experienced surgeon. I clearly made the right decision having her see Dr. Michele Bergen. Her surgical skill and efficiency perfectly compliment her caring and kind approach. My daughter experienced no postoperative bleeding, minimal swelling, only minor discomfort and most importantly, no nerve damage! I have practiced periodontics in NYC for 35 years and can and will confidently refer any one of my patients to Dr Bergen. Dr. Bergen and her Greenwich, CT staff far exceed my experience with oral surgeons. I have been a loyal patient of hers for over 15 years. Even though I now live 400 miles away, I make the drive because the process of making appointments, the actual extraction and working with the insurance company have been painless. I especially recommend Dr. Bergen to people who have had bad experience elsewhere and/or are afraid of the process. Plus she is one of very few who follow up later in the day to assure the patient is fine. Michele Bergen is not only an amazing dental surgeon, she is a genuinely nice person She is very professional and empathetic. The staff is top notch. The office is beautifully decorated and very relaxing.

Dr. Bergen is superb in skill, and has a wonderful bedside manner and personality. I had an emergency and she was able to see me the next morning, due to a cancelation. I am so so glad that I was referred to Dr. Michele Bergen by Dr. Shin Francis. I could not believe how amazing she performed her job and indeed I was in shock that she inserted the metal in my lower jaw under the 30 mins. I had no pain and had no restrictions for intake of food after the procedure was done. Dr. Michele, is such an amazing dentist like, OMG, she herself called me to check on me if I had any pain and gave her time to make sure everything was, ok! Love you Dr. Michele for being so flexible and willing to do this! Thank you so so much for your wonderful work and I appreciate it so much! I hopefully will see you sometime soon :)! Dr. Bergen took out my son's wisdom teeth a few years ago when Dr. Aslanian was still around. She was fabulous. We are now about to do the same thing with my daughter and I would not go anywhere else. I trust her completely.

Dr Bergen is GREAT !! .

I came for an implant and Dr. Bergen called my dentist to describe a unique solution other than implant surgery. What a refreshing experience a surgeon willing to give away a certain fee for the betterment of the patient.

I took my mom in last Friday for an emer. visit. Being in the dental field myself for almost 20 years, I was so impressed with Dr. Bergen. She did an amazing job with my mom !! I will refer all of our patient that need an oral surgeon there !!
