It has been a long time since I’ve seen a psychiatrist. Dr. Wu is knowledgeable, direct, and does care. Looking at the other evaluations, I was shocked to see so many patients did not see the real Dr. Wu. Yes, he might come across very direct, to the point, but that’s what makes him so good, he doesn’t waste your time. My other psychologist was nice, caring, and had a nice bedside manner, but did not help me. On the other hand, Dr. Wu went right to the problem, listened, and helped direct me to solve the problem that I was having. He did not push me on medications and/or more appointments; he moved at a speed, I feel comfortable with. If you want to work with the psychiatrist that doesn’t waste your time, I would recommend Dr. Michael Wu

This doctor has absolutely no patience! He’s rude and condescending! He tries to act like your psychologist and doesn’t really care. He talks to himself and asks “what to do, what to do” ?Who does that? You’re the doctor, how the heck am I suppose to know? I would never recommend this doctor to my worst enemy! He’s not compassionate to my condition and has pretty much given up on me because his ego has been hurt. Get over yourself, you took the Hippocratic oath when you received your MD. Use it!

I’ve been seeing Dr Wu since I was in my 20’s, he’s a very good Dr. I travel to see him still because I’ve moved. And he is worth the drive.

I feel worse than I did before coming to see him. He was rude and very pushy to rush me through the session to collect my payment. He would also make passive aggressive comments that made me feel worse. Save your time and your life, don't visit him.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Wu about 2 weeks ago. I am a 39 year old male diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder II and have seen approximately 10 different psychiatrists over my adult life. Dr. Wu easily ranks as either number 1 or 2 so far. I appreciate his professional, to the point analytical approach to medicine and his data based treatment recommendations. I very much am looking forward to having him on my treatment team moving forward.

Excellent doctor. I have been with him for approximately two years. Dr. Wu actively listens with compassion and asks great questions, helping me think through and understand the holistic drivers of my condition. What is more, I feel he is a partner in helping me manage my health versus a pedagogical/distant clinician; he takes the time to educate. His core principles/philosophy are evident in his approach. As my wellness partner, I am grateful for his skill, compassion, and respect.

Dr Wu is professional and kind. He is a great listener and gives you time to talk and ask any questions you might have. He considers your input when it comes to medications and seems to really care about what is best for you.

Was not a good experience at all. I will not be returning. The word rude does not begin to explain his temperament with me . When a patient visits a doctor it is usually for help and guidance re: an issue but I did not find help or guidance with this doctor at all. I felt far worse when I left his office.

Dr. Wu is attentive, skilfully probing and very professional. He wants to stay informed about my feelings, attitudes, concepts of what is going on with me. He always asks for a prescription and OTC update and if I have noticed feeling any duffer entry since taking something new. What changes I may have made socially, personally, exercise and eating habit changes which may affect my moods. I feel very comfortable in relaxing and speaking honestly with him. I respect Dr. Wu and his counsel.
