The receptionists are very rude and treat you with no respect at all. They gave me a really negative view on what prenatal care should look and feel like. Staff is uncaring and the wait times are horrible. It is worth it to look for another facility as they are unprofessional here.

Great friendly and proffessional dr would highly recommend dr wong

My appointment was at 9 AM, I didn’t get seen until an hour later they have you wait in the room super long I was late for work. Will be changing my doctor soon!

I’m 34 weeks and have t even met dr. Wong yet. Today I spent the entire day getting to and waiting in his office only to be told that they had to reschedule. I was absolutely baffled. My daughter and I had waited in the waiting room for 2.5 hours. For me it takes almost an hour to get there and about $20 in gas only to be told that I can’t be seen? I can’t imagine having a complication like an infected incision after a c-section and having to go through that hell. The office doesn’t have enough seats to fit everyone, I had a woman coughing on me for much of the wait... I couldn’t think up a worse experience. I was hoping that the 2.5 hour wait was some kind of complication due to being a new patient but apparently it’s the norm after reading other people’s reviews. I honestly feel safer staying home until I go into labor. This experience has made me absolutely terrified to deliver. I’m baffled that this kind of wait time & treatment is even legal. With my 2nd pregnancy he was my doctor and I did not see him till 9th month. I had to go to his office for my few last appointments and the wait time is horrible, so long to see him. His staff are so unfriendly and some of the machines in his office are from stone age. But when he did my c section surgery, it was so quick and I recover so fast. He so good with the c section surgery but the rest is horrible. With my 2nd pregnancy he was my doctor and I did not see him till 9th month. Everyone was so nice and professional when we came in today for our first time. This is my husbands first baby (my 2nd), so he was excited and nervous ???? that everything would be healthy and well with baby and I! Dr.Wong made my husband feel comfortable and satisfied that the baby and I are in experienced, good hands. We can’t wait to continue our pregnancy journey with Dr. Wong. The worst. Uncaring. Tells you the obvious "childbirth is painful deal with it" who does that. And he acted like he was still in med school. Slicing me open with no anethesia. Because he thought the anethesiologist already administered it. And I told him I can feel and he tells me NO you can't and I said YES I CAN and he keeps slicing and that's when the anesthesiologist waves to him to stop. Like who does that this was unprofessional and not believing me that I can feel it and can move my legs. If I got any drug I wouldn't be able to move. And not believing me when I say I can feel it. Anyhow it was an emergency C-section cuz he took to long to just do a C-section. So her heart rate dropped for good and wouldn't go back up. As a result she wasn't born breathing. Now she's going through all these complications. Not eating delayed speech walking etc...I'm so irritated. He was just the doctor on site cuz my obgyn didn't have a permanent doctor yet and wouldn't come till after my due date. So I had to just get whatever doctor. Worst experience ever. The phone staff is very rude and laughed in my face when calling about my results after 7 weeks of no response. When you are high risk cervical cancer it’s nice to have peace of mind that you have a great team of doctors and staff… these people are the furthest from that. DO NOT GO HERE. I came here for my first appointment on 1/8/19. After Dr.Wong looked at my paper work from a previous ER visit, he did a 2 minute Intravaginal ultrasound, and said based on my numbers (from a week before) and the shape of my sac, he told me that there was no embryo and no heart beat so he gave me 100% of miscarrying, didn’t tell me much else, had zero empathy and tried to leave the room as quick as humanly possible, we had to keep stopping him to ask questions. I was barely 5 weeks, 6 days for this ultrasound. I went to the ER yesterday and my numbers are perfect, and there’s a perfect little embryo with a strong heart beat. I’d avoid this place. Delivered both my kids was dropped as a patient by him because I missed an appointment actually my appointment was for 1020am and I called to say I was running late and I could arrive at 1030 they said the doc Wong was walking out the door at 1030 so I would miss my appointment I didn’t understand how my appointment was set for 1020 but he was leaving 10 min after then when I called back to reschedule they said he dropped me as a patient I would think after having both my kids delivered through him there would be some type of grace/ loyalty wrong! I am here to write an honest review about my experience with Dr. Wong, his staff, and how I was treated here. I am 22 weeks now, and I have finally completed my process of switching OB/GYN due to the negligence and poor treatment of this facility. From the start, the front desk were not the nicest I've encountered in my life. She was very rude from the beginning, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a bad day. Continuing on with my visits here, the wait times were ridiculously LONG. I'm talking 2-2.5 hours here for a simple 10 minute visit. Even with our first initial consultation with him, he answered the phone in the middle of me giving my history. Last I checked, this was my time and phone calls could wait. From here on out that was the most I had ever talked to him. We (my boyfriend and I) would be in a room, he would come check the heartbeat, ask if we had any questions, then leave. We felt like cattle just being filed in and out. Not the best experience to have when you are pregnant for the first time and have zero idea what to expect. We never were told any good or bad news with my blood work. Mind you, my boyfriend comes with me to every appointment and was evenly as annoyed with him as much as I was. It wasn't until just recently when I went to get my anatomy scan that I demanded my medical records from them, because of the fact that there were things brought up from a specialist that were never discussed to me by Dr Wong. When I went to the office, I asked very politely if I could get copies. The response (in an aggressive tone): "He hasn't signed off on them yet. I'll put them on his desk but if he doesn't get to them you're gonna have to wait until Monday." I'm last time I checked, MY medical records are for me to request at any time I want...ITS THE LAW. She then tried to threaten me with a "it's 25 cents a page and you have a lot" to try and shoo me away. To me, if they were able to send them over to the perinatologist for my scan, how could they not let me have copies of them when I had asked? My new OB sent them 2 requests for my records 3 weeks ago, and they STILL haven't cooperated and sent them yet. WHY? Is my question. What is the problem with sending over my information to an office that actually cares Nonetheless, giving this facility one star is a stretch for me because I would be giving them none whatsoever. You made me feel so in the dark with my pregnancy the first 20 weeks, and your front desk was so rude to me for absolutely no reason. I will give that special star to the ladies who would draw my blood and record my weight. They were the only positivity in that place. I hope my review gives women who are pregnant insight on this facility. Great doctor. Delivered both my babys and ready for him to deliver the third. He always looks so happy when the babys are delivered. Always friendly and ready for the babies.

Dr. Wong is a great doctor. He is very professional and is very educated in his field of work. You can trust him. He did my C-Section surgery perfectly. There were no complications and I was very comfortable. I highly recommend seeing him.

Worst doctor visit experience I have had in my 50 years of life. Receptionist was too busy texting while I stood there in front of her to get my new patient papers. She never acknowledged I was even there. When she put her phone down and looked up at me, she got another text (still had not acknowledged me verbally) and promptly checked it and texted back. I interupted her to say I was there for my appointment and she told my "just a minute". After I finally got her undivided attention, I was given my papers to fill out and I sat down. When I was called back, I was interrogated by the MA . She had no idea why I was there, even after I explained in detail, twice what I needed. Then she said "oh, you don't need a pap smear, you just had one", at which point I clarified again for the 3rd time that I did need a pap as a follow up after having surgery the prior year. She continued to argue with my and the PA came over and said to her, "Just put her in a room and I will see her." So, I was still trying to be very polite and went into the room with the MA, who could barely speak English and could not figure out how to take my BP properly, and she had me get undressed. When the NP came in, she was rude, then asked if my hair was the natural color. When I told her it was, she said, "Then how come I can see that it is darker at the roots?" Really? Ok, it was early March and during the winter, my hair gets darker because I am not out in the SUNSHINE! Then she spent 20 minutes trying to find my cervix and was unable to. I had also asked for blood work to be done. When I walked out into the lobby, the NP came out with a lab form and said (in front of other patients and all the staff standing at the desk and front counter) "This patient wants blood work for X, X, and X...could someone draw it for me?" Honestly Dr wong was ok at best. I had him as a back up Dr to my midwife that I was seeing at a birth center for my second pregnancy in 2015. I ended up going into labor at 34 wks. I had an amazing experience at Mary Birch with a pretty quick labor. When I got admitted I went from 4 cm to 10 cm in an hour and the doc on call barely got his gloves on before she came out naturally with no medication. The next morning he told me that had he been there he would have given me a c section.....for What! Everything was fine! So happy he wasn't there for her birth. 2 years later to the day and I was helping my neighbor through early labor and she told me she had a c section planned even though she wanted to do a vbac with her 4th child. Her first 2 were bag deliveries and the 3rd was a c/s. Which makes her a perfect candidate for vbac. The reason she was going to have a c section was because the baby was "too big" . Lo and behold it is the same doc. Her baby was born at 8lbs and some change btw. Perfectly normal sized. I'm sure he can be a great doc for others but if you are a minimalist and don't want a c section for stupid reasons don't go to his office. This doctors office is clean and has a friendly staff and doctor Simon Richken M.D. he's fun but to the point.there staff makes you feel so comfortable.great job staff./ Although there is a reseptionist that is very rude and it's uncalled for.

Dr . Wong is an excellent doctor. I absolutely love all the staff at his office. If I have any more kids I wouldn't want any other doctor!!!

Everyone's experience will be different in all places,but i had the worst customer service at this place. Wait is very long. You leave a voice-mail for the nurse to call u back they called me in about 3 days from when i called. I had already gone to the er and already on medication by the time they reached out to me. The nurses are not friendly at all. Nothing treat u exactly like a number nothing personal. I changed doc. I called today and they did answer but only to be rude. All i needed were some results faxed to my new doctors office. When the nurse found out that i had transferred doc she was even more rude towards me. I asked for a supervisor and he at first was rude as well. Talking like i didnt understand protocol. I understand it completely that is why i asked to speak to someone that was going to help me. I dont recommend this place to anyone that is looking to bond with a nurse or doc. Super frustrated at this moment with the whole experience. Dr wong office is the best place and he is the greatest doctor. He delivered both my son's at Sharp Mary Birch and the hospital staff there are the best. I love Dr Wong

Dr. Michael Wong is a great doctor. I've gone to him for all three of my pregnancies from 2010-2016. He knows what he is doing and is quite fast on deciding what to do. My first baby had his umbilical cord tight around his neck and he untied it super quick! For my second baby we actually had no time to contact him, as I went into labor really quick. With my third child Dr. Wong quickly decided to schedule for a c-section as he said the baby was too big and was low on amniotic fluid! I kept trying to convince him that I wanted to try natural but he specified the risks and good thing I took his advice! The next day I was scheduled for a c-section. Dr.Wong went in to see me really quick and told me what would happen and if I had any questions during my c-section he was telling my husband and I what he was doing as he was working on taking my baby out!
