Michael Westerveld

I was referred to Dr. Westerveld by my son's pediatrician. After 5 phone calls over the course of a month I was told that Dr. Westerveld won't even see my son. The gatekeeping at this office is unprofessional, inefficient and a monumental waste of time for a parent who is trying to find care for a teen in crisis. This practice should be ashamed of itself. The very least they could have done would be to have given me a list of other doctors who might be a good fit for his diagnosis. They didn't even give me a call to let me know he wouldn't be seen. If my front office treated prospective patients this way, I as a physician would want to know about that.
