Dr. Sorrell did it excellent job with his report on my MRI two years ago. Can be Kurt at times, but that’s the point and is very thorough. Congratulations on his retirement and I guess the office is closed now.

Dismissive..forgets why your there..after waiting months to see him and 0ver an hr in a wait room..you would think he could read your file correctly and know why your back for ...I'd go elsewhere he needs to give up his practicing a visit.

Awful. Just awful. He keeps his back to you the entire time and will not let you ask questions. His staff lost my medical records and on top of that he didn't even seem to care. He bedside manner is atrocious, he's rude and would not even look at the imaging I brought with me. I had questions about an upcoming surgery and refused to answer them opting to walk out of the room. I don't know how this guy has stayed in practice. Save yourself the disappointment, don't bother. He needs to retire.

Dr. Sorrell is very dismissive and rushed my visit without even answering my questions,. The Office itself is very unorganized, they lost about 4 faxes from my doctors pertaining to my medical records. Don't bother you will be disappointed.

I am so happy to see Dr Sorrell is still practicing. He treated me in 1978. I had suffered a stroke at the age of 29. He was the 3rd neurologist I had. He was thorough and was able to diagnose me and lead me on a path of recovery. His bedside manner wasn't so good, but he was direct and told me exactly what I needed to hear. I supposedly missed an apointment, but have no awareness of appt. Refuses to entertain the idea of seeing me. Glad im not critical, i hope.

Dr. Sorrell's disregard of my son's described symptoms over many months, and five appointments, and his inability to identify my son's severe papilledema, in both of his eyes, reveal that he is an incompetent physician. We were told by excellent neurology staff and neurosurgical teams at Boston Children's Hospital in Boston that our son was lucky to have had the 6.5 cm mass in his head discovered by identification of papilledema by our optician at Lenscrafters when it was missed by Dr.Michael Sorrell. He is a danger due to his incompetence. I have been with Dr. Sorrell, for more than 5 years now and I must say that I appreciate the attention he puts into his work and the time spent while doing so. He is straight to the point and I love that about him. There will not be a mistake with him because he is very careful about what he is diagnosing his patients with. He sticks to the facts and symptoms that are being displayed. I would recommend him to anyone..... Doctor would not let me ask questions I have severe neuropathy tried to ask him questions He would not let me ask questions he said everything that was wrong with me was because I was depressed I told him I was depressed because of my neuropathy and the feelings that I get would not recommend this doctor to anyone

Worst,worst,Dr ever , refused to reschedule me because I missed an apointment ,and the only reason I CANCELLED MY APT , wasn't a no-show , I had to cancel since their office never renewed my transportation form , so I didn't have a ride because of them , so he REFUSED to refill my seizure meds ,even though I begged them ,crying that I was going through terrible seizures and I had been having to go to hospital by ambulance 4 x's in the past couple weeks ,and I have no meds and I live on my own , he refused to refill meds ,or schedule an appointment with me , and this is a DR?? Dr Sorrell, is absolutely a no mixing words, knows what he's doing Professional. I've been chasing a diagnosis confirmation, 13 specialists completely failed at determining. It took 8 minutes of questions and answers , & viewing my test records for him to confirm and suggest immediate treatment for Neural Sarcoidosis. He's not overly warm and fuzzy but HE DEALS IN BRAIN AND NEUROLIGICAL DISORDERS! I'm baffled by anyone who knows health care today where most Dr's received their degree in foreign countries, to not see the excellence of this Doctor. Worst doctor ever. Arrogant. Incompetent. Could not identify papilledema, a basic identifying symptom of brain tumor, in my son's eyes on multiple examinations. Thank goodness the girl at Lens Crafters (at the Holyoke Mall) could! She sent us for an immediate scan. From Noble Hospital directly to Boston Children's. Sorrell denied my son a scan or MRI for 7 months while the tumor grew. It was 6.5cm the day it was removed--2 days after LensCrafters found it. NEVER go to Sorrell. Incompetence kills

He, s the doctor I had and wish I still had him. I miss him very much hello Dr. Sorrell. I grew up very fast and hard and thank you for everything Jean beattie you're first patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sorrell, for approximately twelve years, and I can't praise his skills in Neurology enough. In treating me his concern has always been the parient, ME. Although I have symptons, which are difficult to live with. He has always striven to give me quality of life.

His bedside manners are atrocious. The last time I checked I was a part of the treatment plan. Instead, I was cut off and shooed at when I tried to state my wishes. I may not be the one with the degree but I will not be hushed when talking about my body. He spends more time typing than talking to the patient and whenever I tried to explain anything he would cut me off. I won't be treated like an imbecile. I won't go back.
