I’ve been seeing Dr Sermersheim for over 10 years. He was the first neurologist to actually help me get migraine relief! He writes letters of medical necessity to get insurance to cover medications for you. Phone calls for medication refills are filled quickly. He is a very caring man that truly cares about his patients. I have recommended him to many people that I’ve met that have not gotten migraine relief from their current Dr.

Arrogant, dismissive, no interest in diagnosing, just wanted to slap a diagnosis and medicate.....which his Medical Assistant actually disagreed with him about and was actually more accurate than him.

He did a couple physical tests and told me I was fine before all the MRI reports were in. Upon receiving copies of my scans from the radiologist, I found that there are multiple issues, some that I needed referral for.

Dr Sermersheim is very good but trying to get an appointment is awful. Follow up appointments for 6 months can not be made at office. front desk says they only book for 3 months, call us in 3 months for your appointment. phone messages left are not returned

He has wonderful bedside manner he really cares about you and he makes you feel comfortable is absolutely wonderful

After visiting multiple neurologists, Dr. Sermershiem was the only one to listen to me, explain the medications options, and without hesitation provide a recommendation that wouldn't interfere with my lifestyle as an athlete. Within minutes he told me why my other prescribed medications weren't working. His clear knowledge and ability to explain his decisions without me asking put me at ease immediately. I will always be thankful he was recommended to me.
