Totally amazing - and his partner Dr. Cava. Loved everythig about his and her care.
Our family has gone to Dr. Shimming for the past 10 years and as a pediatrician he is great, but being available to his patients is another story. My children had to find a new pediatrician due to the fact we can NEVER get an appointment unless booked months in advance. Yesterday my son was scheduled for wellness and vaccinations on top of being sick with 103 fever the nurse knew about day earlier. We were 5 min late and waitlisted till april and told be see urgent care. We now have new doctor.

I am a first time mom and in my son's first 6-8 months of life I had been through and seen 5 other doctor's, and for a variety of reasons I decided not to stay with them. Doctor Schimming was FABULOUS! He was very calming, personable, detailed oriented and took time to answer all of my questions. He never made me feel judged for my decisions as a first time mom and did not pressure me to vaccinate my child. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor.

Dr. Schimming is probably the best doctor I've ever encountered. We opted not to circumcise our sons. Before we found Dr. Schimming, every nurse and doctor we encountered gave us not only false, but dangerous advice on how to care for an intact penis and pressured us to circumcise. He is knowledgeable and respectful. He takes his time to make sure the kids feel welcomed and comfortable, he always asks them if it's okay for him to touch them. He's a genuinely good person.
Best pediatric doctor!!! Sees all of my children, is genuinely kind!
