Dr. Robbins is by far the best doctor I have come across in the field of Pain Management. He not only treated my pain he treated ME

Dr. Michael Robbins, OD is without question, the most competent healthcare provider I have met in my 58 years. I have, unfortunately, required pain management for a very long time. First two hip replacements, simultaneously, a spine fusion, and continuing issues too many for a man my age. Dr Robbins is the type of doctor that can pinpoint an issue, diagnose it correctly, and was absolutely right every single time. He speaks succinctly, has tremendous confidence, as he should, and knows the spine, the mechanics of it, and how to treat issues without just writing a prescription and sending you on your way. I’ve never felt rushed. I’ve never felt like he was talking down to me, as some do, and his exams are not at all cursory; meaning not the typical rubber hammer on the knee. Every one of his processes is deliberate, and his knowledge is world class. His experience, training, and a keen sense of the human anatomy makes him the top in his field. I will always truly appreciate Dr Robbins.

Dr Robbins is the best but he is no longer at this office & the quality has definitely gone down with out him there. He always listened to his patients & will be missed

Dr Robbins found a way to give my husband his life back and gave my husband back to me and my kids. 20 years ago Dr. Robbins listened, worked with my husband and together they found what worked. It worked so well that he was able to maintain the exact treatment with only 1 miniscule change after 10 years, then another 10 years with NO change. 20 years of the same treatment is virtually unheard of especially in the pain management field. That is AMAZING! He truly gave us our life back. Thank you, God bless you Dr. Robbins. We'll miss you more than you can ever know. What other docs are doing to your patients is criminal. We knew you were an amazing doc but now in your absence we are reminded how lucky we were to have had you in our lives. The future is very scarry. The new doc, without seeing the patient, has instructed the PA on the 1st telehealth visit since your retirement to take away all of 1 medicaton and cut the other by 1/2 with no step down, just cut! 20 years of a combo that worked cut by 75% just like that! That's what is out there; uncaring, non listening, in it for money only, so called doctors. You are truly one of the GREATS and will truly be missed. Doc Roc is the absolute best!!! incredible bedside manner. Hes not a pill pusher, he is always up on new treatments and techniques to help control pain and heal the body. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would!!! Being disabled I unfortunately have had to see multiple Dr's in many fields ..Dr Robbins is easily my favorite!! Hes a fantastic physician !!! Dr. Robbins is a super compassionate physician. From his title D.O. he is in tune w/ the body as a whole system of interconnected pathways. He will work not only on your pain in regards to the specific symptoms and location, but Dr. Robbins will also work on balancing your body as a whole pathway so to speak, and bringing balance to all of my systems has brought me relief to a level not attained by any other physician, or method of treatment w/ such a successful outcome. Outstanding!!!!! In my view, Dr Robbins is a role model for any doctor!!! I am an extremely difficult patient with a lot of musculoskeletal problr. Dr Robbins is am an of solutions, ideas & resources! He makes you feel extra special & you can see he really cares!!! I've had many doctors and Dr Robbins is by far my favorite! I judge this by his knowledge, because manner, depth of caring, resourcefulness and his personality in general.

Met Dr. Robbins for the first time he’s really knowledgeable. Gave great solutions and help me identify some of my pain and the cause of it. I left the visit feeling mentally better

I've been a patient of Dr. Robbins for 9 yrs after, 3 yrs. after leaving Gaylord Hospital for a spinal chord injury. He has been very compassionate and after different combinations of medications and treatments settled on one that has helped me manage my pain since then. RGA,Hamden,CT

My husband has suffered from chronic pain for 25 years. We met Dr Robbins about 2 years ago. We have worked on various medication programs and finally settled on trying Neurostimulation Therapy. It has been an eye opener. It has given my husband the potential to dial the pain down almost 80%. That has been wonderful for him...but also for me! Thank you Dr. Robbins

Simply the best physician I have ever seen - I have been a patient for ~10 years, and Dr. Robbins has always been straightforward & realistic about diagnosis & treatment for my condition, & periodically goes out of his way to keep me informed about new/trial treatment approaches that he's learned of that might some day potentially benefit me directly. Very easy to get along with, Dr. Robbins is a true professional in every way - and always has the patient's best possible outcomes as his goal.

Dr. Robbins is an excellent Doctor. He is easy to talk with, takes his time, is caring follows up and is a GREAT with DIAGNOSING pain and finding solutions. Dr. Robbins LISTENS to the patient! We know our pain best and never makes assumptions and tries to fit you into a diagnosis, rather he treats each case as unique. I HAVE already sent both family and friends to see Dr. Robbins.

I have been a patient of his for almost two years now. He is a wonderful doctor who has done everything possible to help fix my back while keeping me as comfortable as possible with available medications. I saw a lot of doctors before him and none cared or helped me like he has. I was treated like a lab rat till I found him. I can't say enough good things about him. There are a lot of closer doctors to me but he is worth the drive. Wonderful person and doctor. And Sue his assistant is great also
