Dr. Michael Lawrence Rimm

Dr. Michael Rimm successfully treated my child by focusing on the entire family -- a very effective approach. He is NOT A PILL PUSHER, like many psychiatrists are. Patients who come to him just wanting to be medicated are not going to find a complicit medical professional willing to do that. We can attest to the fact that he and his medical partner, Dr. Gabrielle Galler-Rimm achieved helping us find my daughter's health again! I thoroughly recommend this practice!

He is arrogant and incompetent and worse, his poor instincts and overbearing ego make him dangerous.

He treated us horribly. It’s all about him and will actually spend most of the time talking about how much better he is than everyone else. His tactic is to talk himself up, cut you down and destroy your self confidence. When he has his hook in you he will demand you see him all the time and go bizerk if you aren’t following everything he says exactly. It was a very scary experience and only made our situation worse.

If it were possible to give no stars I would. Dr. Rimm is the worst therapist I have ever worked with. He is insensitive, a poor listener, disorganized and arrogant. He does not respect boundaries. He never starts his sessions on time often making a patient wait 10 minutes with no explanation.His sessions dragged on for as long as 90 minutes with no therapeutic value or strategy. I found his tendency to rattle on about himself and his approach to be off-putting.

We are grateful to Dr. Michael and Dr. Gabrielle Rimm. We are able to feel safe to share our thoughts/troubles, and get answers to progress further in life. They are deeply caring and have given my children and I, a hope for a brighter future. The Rimm doctors are insightful and empowering life coaches. They love their job and it shows. You receive excellent care! We leave feeling better and mind strong. We feel we can be honest in communicating how we feel with the doctors being judgement free.

Condescending, egocentric monster.

Dr Rimm is an excellent listener, he is very compassionate and caring. He carries on real life helpful conversations and doesn't make you feel like he is only looking for a diagnosis. After moving from several states and having other care providers I feel as though I struck gold in him. I would highly recommend Dr. Rimm.

Dr. Rimm helped us through a mental health crisis - in fact, he the only health professional who was able, finally, to provide treatment that was effective. Dr. Rimm is compassionate, open and caring; and with excellent credentials. On top of that he has a great sense of humor. Dr. Rimm is a gem in our community and I recommend him highly.
