I was incapacitated for four months and could do nothing but lay on my couch or sit up for an hour at a time. After MRI's Dr. Reed knew what was wrong and performed a Spinal Fusion to my L4-L5 vertebrae. The results were excellent and I was back at work 13 weeks later. I would highly recommend him and his staff for ay problems with your back or spine.

Excellent!! I had been to every doctor in town over a period of 10 years and finally Dr. Reed said he could help me and he did. He is very detailed in diagnosing and shows you what he can do to help. Staff was very down to earth and helpful every time I called after surgery. He performed a 2 level ACDF and following his orders and aftercare I am so much better and off pain meds. Dr. Reed is very personable and takes the time to explain his diagnosis and proposed resolution. He answered all of my questions and relieved my concerns regarding the surgical procedure, and I am thankful. My procedure was completed on May 25, 2022. Everything went well, and I am pain free for the first time in a couple years. I am grateful for Dr. Reed's surgical skills and very pleased with his team, as well as the team at Doctor's Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, FL. I was having serious headaches and my pain in my arms and shoulders. I went to Dr Reed and he said he could fix it. I was diagnosed with stenosis in my neck. I was experiencing sciatic nerve pain from my hip to ankle. For six months the pain was excruciating and I was unable to perform most routine daily tasks. Dr. Reed performed a lumbar surgery and three weeks later I am back doing those things which I enjoy. Dr. Reed gave me my life back. Dr Reed is my hero! I and I’m sure many other patients of Dr Reeds love this man as he does exactly what he says he can do for you. Having heard so many good things about him pryor to my first visit I was at ease sitting in his waiting room listening to the other patients praising him and what he had done for them. As for myself Dr Reed preformed a triple Cervical discectomy on me totally releaving me of pain. My recovery was easy and nearly pain free. Dr. Reed is very professional while also being able to explain things in a way to understand! He did spinal stenois surgery on my brother and everything is Great. No more pain in that area. We highly recommend Dr. Reed for your issues!

After 12 weeks of severe pain in my hip, Dr Reed was recommended to us by several friends. He determined I had severe spinal stenosis. We decided to go ahead with surgery. I was immediately pain free in my hip . Dr reed called me personally for several days after the surgery. He and his staff were wonderful to deal with. I very highly recommend Dr Reed and his staff!

I had spinal stenosis and could not put any weight on my right hip. Dr. Reed started me out with an epidural shot which removed my pain. However, a few months later I could tell my pain was returning. My surgery was the first week of February, 2020. Three months later I'm walking 2 miles/day. Now I am back to 3 miles a day every morning with my dog. Every visit I've had with Dr. Reed has been great - no lengthy wait times and the staff is quite knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Reed knows his craft well and does an excellent job of explaining procedures and their expected outcomes. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who has spinal issues as I will return to him if I have any additional issues (as I age) in the future.

From the moment I met Dr. Reed and his assistant Aaron I knew I was in very capable hands. I felt a genuine concern for my health and well-being. Everyone in the office is kind and knowledgeable. They are very accommodating and appointments are kept very close to on-time. On Feb. 10th I had an anterior cervical fusion at 5/6 and 7/8 and I woke up almost pain free. I am 2 weeks post op and I have not felt this good in years, I am so glad that I trusted Dr.Reed.

I had 3 spine surgeries during the 20 years I lived in Southwest Florida before moving to Mexico Beach in 2018. In late 2019, it became apparent from pain & MRIs that another cervical spine surgery was required. Prior to choosing a local Dr to do my surgery, I researched Healthgrades and surveyed medical professionals & local family for their recommendation. Besides the almost unanimous response being that Dr Reed was the best in the area, an MRI technician comment sealed it when he responded "Dr Reed is the ONLY person I would let operate on my spine. I see MRI images of spinal surgeries by all the area's spine surgeons post op and Dr Reed's work is impeccable...he's Da Vinci with a scalpel". A rather unique accolade but his comment sealed my decision. On my 70th birthday in March, 2020, Dr Reed brilliantly performed my anterior cervical fusion. Summary: the scar on my neck is barely noticeable, my pain is 100% gone, & I have unrestricted neck mobility. THANK YOU DR REED!!

Bestback surgeon I have ever had.

Doesn't deserve a star period. I was diagnosed with Cervical spondylosis/stenosis nd lumbar stenosis After I was rear end by PCBPD 09/21/18. I was informed by Dr. Reed that I'll have a anterior nd posterior procedure on my neck. Then to hear on the follow up his exact words "I gotta find something to fix" as if I'm not suffering from the accident not only is he inconsistent wit his practices he's compromise due to the party involved. Dr. Reed told me "He don't got nothing to fix nd in the same breath tells me to settle my case and then come back to him to get my procedure done." True story All Dr. Isn't in the business to heal but to make biased deals. I give him the star for the professionalism of his clerk's. Some Panama City Dr's and some lawyer's are biased nd preferential when it comes to your health nd the parties involved with the cause of your damages.

Dr. Reed is a caring and talented surgeon who understands healing his patients is a process, not just an event. I was having excruciating sciatica that left me nearly immobile, and a dear friend referred me to him. It's the best advice I ever received. Dr. Reed listened intently to the symptoms I described, he asked many questions and took the time to fully educate me on my condition. He is not one to rush to surgery either, only after a course of physical therapy and an MRI revealing the suspected herniation did he recommend a discectomy. The outpatient procedure went very well and I experienced much needed relief within a couple of days. Dr. Reed and his staff remained in contact with me after the surgery and helped me recover over the following weeks. He also provided follow up consultation to once again listen to my questions and concerns, and is always there for me. Dr. Reed and his staff are kind and gifted professionals I highly recommend to anyone in need of healing.

Two months after moving to Florida, I faced the greatest challenge of my life. Severe stenosis and luxated vertebrae in my back caused excruciating pain and crippling. Dr. Reed’s office was compassionate enough to see me right away and immediately sought to help me lessen my pain. Surgery was definitely indicated. And, because of Dr. Reed’s extensive knowledge, experience, and incredible surgical skills, I am walking upright again after a tortuous 6 weeks of being doubled over in pain. After a good number of surgeries, in my 72 years, I needed back surgery...a surgery that I had a great deal of fear about. Dr. Reed and his staff went the extra mile in helping me. They explained my condition, in detail and answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns, with great compassion. The day of surgery has passed and the back pain I had, has disappeared! The surgery just could not have gone more smoothly or had any better outcome and I attribute this to Dr. Reed...This man is a truly gifted surgeon and I join with other past patients, of his, whom I have talked to, in echoing this attribute! I was out of bed and walking the very next day and in total control of my leg. The constant "pressure" in my lower back has disappeared; the leg numbness and other symptoms have gone. Dr. Reed performed a lumbar fusion for me in October 2019. This is my second fusion (the first was done in Denver, CO 4 years ago). I was completely amazed at the difference between the two experiences. My doctor in Colorado was very good and did a fine job, but the recovery was much more difficult 4 years ago. After the first operation I was in the hospital for three full days, spent another week on my back at home, and was on pain meds for 25 days. This time, however, I went home from the hospital the day after the surgery, was immediately able to be active (minding my restrictions, of course) and spent no additional time on my back. I was completely off pain medication in just over a week. It's now two weeks post-op and I have no issues walking several thousand steps at a time (and 8 to 10 thousand steps per day). I attribute the difference to Dr. Reed's remarkable skill as a surgeon and his genuine interest in each case. I wholeheartedly recommend his services.

First of all the staff was very nice and helpful but most of all the saw that I was in much pain. when I met with Doctor Reed he went over my MRI and explain the surgical procedure where I could understand it in full, I was in a lots of pain but when I left his off knowing that I was in good hand make me fill better it didn't take away the pain but just knowing that things was going to be ok...after surgery that pain that I had was gone I could barely walk due to my back problem, you cannot ask for a much better person like Dr. Reed, I am on the road to recovery and feeling better each day, others Doctors miss what Doctor Reed found, Thank you Doctor Reed and Staff keep up the magnificent work , God Bless You All!!!

Dr Reed is a fantastic surgeon and Doctor. He is very knowledgeable as well as has great bedside manner. My mother has had two procedures in the past year and he went above an beyond! We had his and his nurse’s phone numbers in case we needed anything. We will always be grateful for him

Dr. Reed was referred to me after a nerve study test had been conducted. After reviewing the study and the MRI results, Dr. Reed explained that my procedure (ACDF C5-C7) would provide relief for my neck and possibly relief for an entrapped ulnar nerve and carpal tunnel in both hands. I had no previous comprehension of my condition though several family members have undergone similar procedures. I watched both of them take several months to start the recovery process. I was out of surgery the following day and back on a light duty work schedule within the week. After 2.5 months I have found little to no need for the neck brace and have been able to resume most if not all of my pre-surgery activities. Dr. Reed's knowledge and expertise were second to none. But his staff is the final selling point if you're trying to decide. Every bill, co-pay, insurance coverage, dates, schedules, "what to expect"...there is almost nothing left to question when the appointment is complete.

I had a really great experience at Dr Reeds office. Amanda at the front desk is a keeper for sure. She is very efficient and helpful, not only to me but as I waited the few minutes to go in the back I heard her scheduling other appointments and she did so with care and concern for each one. Also, I actually got to see Dr Reed. I have nothing against ARNP/PA's but on your first visit you should really see the doctor to establish yourself with them. ARNP/PA's are a great asset to a practice also

Love Dr. Reed. He has been excellent to work with, taking care of patients including me immediately after Hurricane Michael. Worked tirelessly to get other operative venues so he could care for his patients even though both hospital ORs were lost in the hurricane. Can not say enough good things about him, Aaron or his entire staff. Great selfless individuals. I have complete confidence in him. We just need to clone him!

My husband had Sciatica and generative disc disease. He was a little nervous about having back surgery but Dr Reed was confident that he could do what needed to be done. We are thrilled with the results. He used 2 brackets and 6 screws stayed in the hospital for 2 nights. It’s been 8 DAYS and it’s hard keeping him down.
