I had the SAME experience. I was referred to him to specially remove a mole on my lip because I keloid scar (excessive scarring). When I went in for him to remove my mole (which had to be tested for precancerous cells), I told him I was concerned because of how I scar. He didn’t even look at another scar I tried to show him. I assumed he was doing a special procedure to remove it and he had an assistant shave it off. Shaving it off is something the regular dermatologist could have done and she didn’t want me to have a scar on my face so she referred me to him. He rushed in, had the assistant shave it off, and now I am left with a big oval scar on my lip. BEYOND DISGUSTED with him and my experience with him.

Another doctor sent me to see Dr. Ramsey for a lip biopsy. Before the biopsy, I asked if there was any chance it would leave a scar, and he said no. Six months later, I still had a discolored lump of scar tissue and a long scar from where the incision was made clearly visible on the front of my lip. When I asked what to do about the scar, both doctors just laughed and said it's going to be there for the rest of my life.
