I saw Dr Pollack for shoulder pain he seems knowledgeable but extremely dismissive and arrogant. He seemed annoyed when asked questions and was more concerned with rushing the appointment along. I recommend if your condition is black and white. Otherwise he won’t take the time to understand you or your condition.

Worst bedside manner I've ever encountered. I echo other's feedback about arrogance and dispassion. Dr. Pollack was extraordinarily dismissive regarding problems brought to his attention and with zero sympathy for the outcomes of those problems. I never want to be treated again the way I was treated by him, and particularly during my last visit, which was today.

Dr. P. Saw my daughter years ago and he is so sweet and caring. He explains everything thoroughly and makes you feel at ease.

I chose to see Michael Pollack for my shoulder pain due to his excellent reviews, so I was surprised when I met such an arrogant and unknowledgeable physician. I was wearing a sling do decrease the pain caused by a torn shoulder labrum, nerve impingement, and a severely arthritic acromion process. He told me that to not wear the sling because it would atrophy my shoulder muscles. I explained that I wear the brace during increased pain and remove it when the pain decreases, but he did not listen. He then gave me two injections to my shoulder, handed me a generic listing of shoulder exercises and told me I would be OK in a few weeks. I asked him about the torn labrum and he said it was normal for a 53-year-old man, and did not need to be addressed? Two weeks later I saw another Surgeon who told me the exercises given by Mike Pollack were contraindicated for my injuries and scheduled me for surgery which included repair of my torn labrum. I would never recommend Pollack.

His reviews are mixed with great results but poor in informative and compassionate dialogue. Man of few words and doesn’t seem too interested in what I need to say regarding my condition. Had to stop him and ask him to answer my questions. Seemed very rushed like it was painful to have dialogue with me as a patient. Wish he would relax and cheer up. I will proceed with surgery however I would like to send him a six pack of good beer To get him to relax,have good professional conversations and cheer him up!

Dr. Pollack performed rotator cuff surgery on both my shoulders...one right after the other...due to a fall. I couldn’t be more happy with the results. I found him kind and knowledgeable. He is a very talented surgeon.

Dr. Pollack is an Awesome doctor, knowledgeable and compassionate!!! I had a total knee replacement and I was driving in 8 days. I would recommend him in a heart beat. Staff is great too.

Have right shoulder pain. Brief and hurried physical exam with doctor. Hastily asked if I wanted a steroid shot, I hesitated because I wasn't sure that this was going to help: was told it was 80% effective. I had a steroid flare that night that was not explained and NOT expected BUT EXCRUCIATINGLY painful to the point of tears. Called office next day twice and also left an email on patient portal that was NEVER returned. And you must go through a tangled web of a phone system to leave messages that never get returned. I feel that I deserve better personal interaction with my doctor, not just feeling like you are on a conveyor belt. If this doctor is busy because he is a terrific doctor I will never know because I will not return to his practice.

I have found Dr. Pollack to be very professional and personable. He listens and advises based on your concerns but doesn't rush into anything drastic unless the situation or condition of the patient warrants it. I would recommend Dr. Pollack to anyone needed with knee problems or with problems with their shoulders. I don't believe you will find anyone better.

Very knowledgeable, professional, great interaction with me as a patient, explained my procedure fully, answered a postop question I was concerned about fully and suggested a course of action for me if I need further surgery. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

I visited Dr. Pollack after fracturing my shoulder several months ago and he has not only operated to rebuild my shoulder, but has guided me through months of rehabilitation in a caring and professional manner. He is always interested in answering my questions sharing his expertise and experience. I am always happy to visit him.

April 2, 2018 "Best run medical facility ever!" From the initial staff that I met, through the whole process - everyone was smiling, courteous and showed interest in me. Dr. Pollack, as always was very caring, oozed confidence and was sharply attired. ?? Now here's how to tell how great an experience this was -- my fellow patients, every single one, said "Hello" to me with a smile on their face but they disappeared so fast because there was only a few minutes wait. DriPollack did my knee in 2014.Had shoulder done in April 2017.I would not go to anyone else.My shoulder is almost as good as before my fall.I can't thank him enough.

I first saw Dr. Pollack back in 2009 for rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. I liked the way that he took time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. Dr. Pollack did a fantastic job repairing my shattered clavicle. Thanks to his surgical skills and a great PT plan, I'm now able to resume all normal activities including playing baseball with my kids - 3.5 months post surgery. Thanks very much for your expertise.

Dr. Pollack has scoped both my shoulders and I am very satisfied. I would not have had him do both shoulders if I was not happy.

Dr Pollack replaced both my right and left knee a year apart after being a patient for 8 years. I went through the gel shots etc over time till only surgery would help. I am pleased with the preparation, hospital experience and the professional and knowledgeable people who helped me prepare and the expertise of the surgeon. It is a must to faithfully do the exercises to strengthen.

I have been very pleased with each experience I have had with Dr Pollack. He made me feel at ease right from the beginning. His soft kind way is very comforting to someone who was in the severe pain I was in. He explained my diagnosis and the surgery that needed to be done and reassured me that he could repair my shoulder and that I would regain use of it again. I have been improving steadily and very glad I had the surgery. I am on my way to feeling whole again.

I have had both knees replaced by Dr. Pollack. Anyone with a knee condition I recommend to Dr. Pollack. He is always concerned about my welling, takes his time with me and I have always felt confident about the outcome which has always been excellent. He is easy to talk to and has a very pleasant manner. I have had no problems with the replacements and he has improved my quality of life. I will gladly use him again.

Dr Pollack as been treating my knee problems for 15 years. I recently went through partial knee replacement on both knees & travelled from CT to NJ so that he could perform the surgery because I believe that he is the best. Debated going to NYC or Phila for Right Shoulder Rotator Cuff Surgery. Met with Dr. Pollack and immediately knew that I was staying in Hunterdon County for the surgery. Not two months later had less extensive surgery on my Left Shoulder. Dr. Pollack is professional, engaging and took time to explain the procedure in full, allowing for my many questions. Staff is responsive, O/R nurses in the surgical center are exceptional.

Dr. Pollack was great in understanding my situation and personality, and working with me to provide the best course of treatment for me as an individual.

I had rotator cuff surgery 6 months ago. My recovery has been excellent. I am almost 100% as of today. It is a long process but full recovery is possible if you follow his instructions. Scheduling needs to be improved. The wait time at the appointments is very bad.

Had right knee arthroscopy and was able to walk out of recovery room with no pain . Was driving and running errands the next day.

I would highly recommend Dr. Pollack to anyone having knee pain. He tried minimal invasive procedures, which alleviated the pain. He was gentle and I did not have much discomfort. I eventually needed a knee replacement, and I was very pleased with the results. It has been a year and I am able to walk pain free.
