Dr. Michael P Pizzuto

My son has been a patient of Dr. Pizzuto's for over 12yrs. He is an amazing doctor. Spends all the time you need & answers every question that he can for you. His staff & desk girls are also amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I called on 5/24 the lady who answered to get my son in was so rude & nasty she accused me of waiting to the last minute to get him appointment when i tried to tell her i didn’t i already set up an appointment elsewhere but was looking for a sooner appointment due to him having a fracture in his face she cut me off & proceeded to talk over me so i couldn’t even get that part out. I came here to read the reviews & see other people also complained about someone being nasty over the phone I’m almost sure it was the same person. I’m a great mother & no one who’s answering the phone is gonna accuse me of being anything less. I really contemplated about canceling his appointment just so i wouldn’t have to come in there but my son well being comes first. But when i go for his appointment tomorrow morning i will be speaking to someone cause that is ridiculous! I called to make an appointment the lady that was talking to me is very rude she also hanged up in my face so rude and then I had to call again another lady answered me she was kind enough to explain to me an patient

Not the best experience. I think they know there aren’t other options for a pediatric ENT in the area. They make you wait in the room for ages and the doctor is pretty rude.

Dr. Pizzuto is great and so is his staff. I would highly recommend!

Unbelievable how poor the customer service is on the phone. Whom ever the man is that answers the phone should no longer have a job..i was hung up on and blocked. Called from another number and asked to speak to a woman in the office and was hung up on again. And absolutley terrible behavior for a doctor's office

If I could give zero, I would. I did not even get the opportunity to meet with the MD, so please take my review as a review of the office staff, not the physician. First issue was the unprofessional and rude woman who made our appountment back in November. I asked to be contacted if they had any cancellations, as we would like to be seen sooner than February. She crassly stated, "We don't do that," then promptly ended the phone call. I should have known that was a red flag. All other issues took place in the office today. No one was present behind the counter when we arrived, so I signed my daughter in on the sign in sheet. Several precceeding names had not been blacked out, a clear HIPPA violation. After waiting fifteen minutes, the secretary returned and checked in two patients ahead of us. We had been waiting and signed in before them. She never even looked at the sign in sheet. We were never noticed or called so I approached the desk to introduce myself, coffee in hand, and to see if there was any new patient paperwork to fill out for my daughter. I introduced myself and asked about the paperwork, her response was, "We do not allow drinks in the waiting room. Please dispose of the coffee." She didn't even introduce herself, say welcome to our office, etc. She was just incredibly rude and abrupt. I told her I had just purchased the coffee, it was still full, and would not be throwing it out. She told me it was office policy and that I could step outside with it to finish it. It's 25 degrees outside with wind. I told her I would not be doing that and if I could just have the paperwork to fill out I would finish the coffee in the waiting room. She refused to give me the paperwork and sat and stared at me. At this point I said that we would be going and would not be seeing the doctor if this is how we were going to be treated over a cup of coffee in a waiting room. She just kept staring and me and closed the glass window. There is no sign, there was no prior notice in the message left that coffee was not allowed in the waiting room. I would never recommend this MD to anyone, based solely on this experience. I am in administration at a local hospital, we do not have any such policy in place for our clinic waiting rooms and would never represent our physicians in such a manner. Very rude and unprofessional office staff. Secretary talked over my concerns with my small child and proceeded to hang up on me. Refused to make an appointment for an emergency visit. Never will recommend this place, hope the doctors are aware of the people that are presenting them.

He was awesome, really thorough and talked over everything. Have had no issues since as I was the actual patient.

Great doctor! I was 20 when I had surgery for my adenoids and nasal membranes back in April. Now I can finally breathe better. Thanks Doc!

Made and appointment for my son to see the doctor. Told the receptionist that he had a sleep study and that 5 years ago he had tonsils and partial adenoid removed and the sleep tech was recommending he have the condition of his remaining piece of adenoid evaluated. Requested a personal day from work only to be called at the close of business the day before the appointment and told the appointment was cancelled because the doctor wasn’t there on fridays. So why schedule the appointment??? I called the next morning and the receptionist was so rude and ignorant. This is unacceptable for any office especially a pediatric office. I told her I would take my son to another doctor because of her attitude. She simply said “that’s fine.” Even if the doctor is a great... not worth being treated like garbage. I am so grateful for Dr. Pizzuto... a true professional and talented at what he does. My daughter needed ear tubes out and the previous ENT we used had planned to do so at the hospital. We felt this was overkill for this procedure and so switched ENTs to Pizzuto. First visit, he was able to remove them in his office which meant at least 2/3s less of the cost of a hopsital removal. Although, this would not be a good choice for everyone, it was great for us (she was an older child too). I feel he will think outside of the box, he seems to really listen and care and figure out what is best. He then will take the time to explain things too. Having said all that, I should say that I rarely see him when we go. It is usually the nurse practitioner, but have been very happy with them too. Everyone had been pleasant there and we don't wait forever either for appointments. I have two children that have been seeing him for a couple years now. Highly recommend this facility for your child. Great staff wonderful doctor. Immediate response time. Thorough explanation of procedures and what to expect before and after surgery.

HORRIBLE! I was attempting to give my credit card to secure my niece's apt because she is in great pain a few days post operatively and is her insurance cancelled November 1st. They wouldn't let me get a word in or take my credit card number so she can be seen. HORRIBLE patient care!!!!!!! Only gave it one star because this application forced me to give it a rating.
