I had been in excruciating pain that ran down my left leg for months, not able to get in or out of bed, couldnt roll over in bed on my on and had to walk with a cain. The MRI discovered that I had (3) ruptured disc L3 L4 & L5, I had been to (2) other surgeons, who wanted to do a full back surgerythat involved so many different things that I was just horrified, at such a young age I didn't want that. I continued searching until I found Dr. Peele, he is absolutely the best neurosurgeon doctor! Dr. Peele offered me a completely different option than any other surgeon, a Lamadectomy - outpatient surgery, less down time and less recovery time with immediate pain relief. Dr. Peele told me that I would be 90% pain free the next day after surgery and I hesitated to believe him, until the next day when I was able to get out of bed on my, stand up and walk with 90% relief! Hello I had back surgery in June of 2017 and neck surgery done in August of 2021. Due to arthrtis with dr. michael peelle. I represented a gentleman who was involved in a car accident and eventually underwent a back surgery with Dr. Peelle, who made misrepresentations to me, offered opinions that were completely damaging to my client (his patient) and with which even the car insurance companies disagreed, and took advantage of the client to make a quick buck. I must also mention that his office manager, Cindy, is incredibly rude and unaccommodating - the office refuses to use email in 2021 and required us to mail paper copies of the client's other medical records to their office. They also could not process payments by phone and required mailed checks. When I proposed alternatives that are commonplace, she acted like I was totally out of line. Here are some additional details regarding what happened: (Note that this post has been completed with client consent) I contacted Dr. Peelle's office to discuss whether he believed the client's back surgery was related to the car accident. I specifically told him that I wanted to ascertain his opinions before paying for a report. He agreed that if the client was asymptomatic on the date of the crash, then the crash made him symptomatic and the surgery would be related. I wrote a note in the file to that effect contemporaneously with the call. With that, we jumped through his office manager's hoops to get him all the info and payment he would need to complete a formal report. Then, Dr. Peelle issued a report saying the surgery was NOT related to the accident and charged my client for that report, which could have completely tanked his case. When I tried to point out to Dr. Peelle that, while my client had some prior back complaints, they had resolved before the collision and he was not undergoing treatment then, he refused through his office manager to amend the report. Of significance is that the insurance companies involved all disagreed with Dr. Peelle because his opinions were blatantly in contradiction to the available medical records. Dr. Peelle knew I didn't want to waste the client's funds on an unfavorable report and he issued it and charged for it anyways. (All costs advanced by our office are reimbursed to the firm by the client from his settlement.) These people clearly cannot be trusted and took advantage of this situation. Dr. Peelle is the best! It's been 6 months and I have no pain.

After a month of misdiagnosis for terrible arm/back pain, I landed with Dr. Peelle and his amazing PA, Georgeanna Lowdermilk. I needed to have 3 discs replaced in my neck - a scary diagnosis. Not only did they get me some fast (non narcotic) pain relief, I couldn't be happier with the surgical outcome. It is a big deal surgery, and I was nervous. But I was feeling pretty fine within a few days. I was back at (gentle) yoga within 2 weeks and now, 4.5 weeks later, I am able to do pretty much anything I could before. Great listener, fantastic surgeon, nice office staff. I feel very lucky indeed to have been referred to this practice and this doctor. Dr. Peelle is an excellent surgeon with amazing bedside manners!!!! I was suffering from a lumbar synovial cyst, that was located in the L4 and L5 region of my spine. He performed a Laminectomy surgical procedure on me, and I am so grateful for him and his hands. He took care of me, and with that being said, I am no longer in pain and has returned back to my normal quality of life. If anyone who's reading this is in need of an outstanding spine surgeon, he is the one, because he is the best.

I was in pain for months barely able to do more than laying on my side. At age 35 this was my second back surgery for a large herniated disc. My nerve was severely pinched off giving me spasms. I really appreciated his manner and willingness to look at all the options. I had a laminectomy to clear out the damage and makes space for the nerves. I am still recovering, but I have my life back and people do not have to live with this type of pain. I fully recommend Dr. Peelle to anyone, especially those who consider surgery the last resort. This doctor operated on my blown disc 5 years ago and put me back on my feet. He was excellent! He listened, didn’t over prescribe and kept me well informed.

Dr. Peellee is a great surgeon. I had spinal fusion of L4 - S1, and 2 spacers put in along with bone grafts, this past January. Was having horrible sciatic pain prior. After surgery that pain was gone! recovery time was 3 months of no BLT, bending, lifting or Twisting, which was the worst part of everything because I felt so good and wanted to get right back at all activities. Dr. Peelle did an amazing job with my surgery I had a l4/l5 disk herniation with numbness to my toes. I was in extreme pain and I could barely walk. He did a great job and has excellent bedside manner. 6 weeks later I'm pain free. I cannot thank him and his team enough!

For years I had this pain in my back, off and on at first, but became daily. After seeing several doctors, all wanting to either fuse or disk replacement, I was loosing hope. One of my friend's wife mentioned a doctor she worked with. I decided to give it a shot. In the first appt with him, I could see the difference, he cared more than the other had. Dr. Peelle is the only doctor I have seen that actually seemed concerned, and he offered a better procedure. After doing so research, being nervous about back surgery, I went ahead with Peelle. I have no regrets, several months later I feel so much better. Highly recommended doctor for back pain.

Came to Dr. Peelle with terrible nerve pain in my right leg that was causing me great pain. His team was great. I cant say enough good things about my entire experience. The surgery went so much better than anything I could have imagined. I go back to work next week and the pain is completely gone.

I had surgery with Dr Michael Peele 4 1/2 years ago due to an injury at work. At that time he was with Moore Clinic. He told me that on a Ten Scale of seriousness/difficulty my surgery would rate a 1. Simple surgery he said; just go in and get the fragements out of the nerve root and I should be fine. I had the surgery done. At first, my back seemed better, but later learned it was because of the pain medication I was taking. Later, when off the medication, I was left with a numb left foot, a tight left leg from my low back through my left hip, left hamstring, and especially pain in my left calf. To this day, I still have all of these symptons. I have had mulitple steriods shots, attempting to improve my condition, but nothing has worked. Avoid this doctor! Seek out someone who has more experience and find someone who has had surgery similar to your proposed surgery to hear their outcomes. Later, I also met another former patient whose neck was really messed up after surgery with him.

Dr. Peele changed my life. I was born with Spina Bifida and finally my L4 and L5 collapsed and I was slowly becoming unable to walk. The Doc operated on my back and even fixed problems from my Spina Bifida. He fixed me so well, I can stand up straight for the first time in 43 years.

Dr. Peelle is great! I was in extreme back, hip, and leg pain for years. I was referred to Dr. Peelle. After going over the MRI with me, he explained that I needed a L4-L5-S1 fusion. This was a VERY scary surgery for me! After realizing that I couldn't live with the pain anymore, I finally set the date for the surgery. I just had my 3 month checkup since the surgery, and I could not be happier. The pain I had was immediately gone after the surgery....which was amazing! The only minor discomfort I have now is localized surgical pain...which gets better day by day. I am so glad I had the surgery, and I definitely recommend Dr. Peelle! Thank you Dr. Peelle for relieving my pain!! I am a different person now!

Dr. Peelle and his staff were great before, during and after my surgery. It was the best decision I made. I now have a quality of life that I have been missing for over 10 years. Dr. Peelle found a cyst on my spine in March and got me in for surgery as soon as possible in April. He and his team have been very kind and patient while explaining all procedures/care before, during, and after surgery. This doctor did my surgery in 2016 on my neck Workman comp. He wanted me to go back to work shortly there after. At the time I couldn’t turn my head to the left or raise my left arm above my shoulder. My left arm also had on and off pain. Told him this he same unhappy and acted like he didn’t believe me. That day he discharged me and said he didn’t need to see me again. My surgery in thebook takes as much as 18 months to recovery I had a very physical job. I was later released from my job of 17 year because I couldn’t preform duty’s. I funded my on rehabilitation for almost a year plus after. Ready to go back to work now Dr peeler will not sign off or see me so I can go back to work. Which I don’t get a year early when I was having pain and low rang of motion work he was ready to send me back. I told him I couldn’t at that time I guess he didn’t get his kick back from the big Corp. To make matters worst I’m a veteran and so is he but I guess it doesn’t Matter. I have undergone two surgeries at the hands of Dr. Michael Peelle; both have been 100% successful with no complications and minimum recovery time. The first operation, a spinal fusion of the C6-C7 vertebrae (neck region), was so well done that there was literally no pain afterwards. Absolutely no pain, not even from the incision! I am currently recovering from a partial lumbar laminectomy due to spinal stenosis. All pain and discomfort from the problem were instantly relieved. Dr.Peelle is a big joke tells me I need anxiety medicine for my back which would not help a back with a bulging or herniated disc he is the worst Dr I have ever seen called in Flexeril for it which is for back spasms so that doesn't help I've had other Dr say I need microscopic surgery he says no pyshical therapy so guess what I've done pyshical therapy 2 times now and has made pain worse not better he's in it to help workers comp copmanys cause that's who gives him his payday he's a clown a jo

Dr. Peele did an amazing job on my lower back with the least invasive procedure to successfully correct my problems. Prior to surgery I had CONSTANT back and leg pain. Immediately after surgery all pain was gone except for the incision area. I would do it again in a heartbeat if needed.

Dr Peele is a great orthopedic i had two stage disc replacement and the strength in my arm has been regained and the shooting pain in my arm has decreased significantly, I believe as time goes on it will get better and better I am very excited about the procedure that was done...Thanks Dr Peele.

Dr. Peelle saved my life' he informed me if I didn't have this neck fusion surgery it could become paralyzed from a fall. I lost a brother who had a fall and had become paralyzed from needing the same surgery. He passed last year' complications of that fall.
