AMAZING EXPERIENCE from my first appointment all the way to my last! Dr. Payne not only gave me the service I paid for, he and his staff went above and beyond each appointment.. Dr. Payne and his ENTIRE staff are amazing! From the start when I checked in at the front desk with Shannon, to when I talked about what plan I was going to do for my teeth with Cheryl and then finally meeting the man himself! He makes you feel so comfortable, and LISTENS to what your needs and concerns are. I went with Invisalign and I can’t tell you how many times I lost my retainers but Dr. Payne was always so nice about it ???? Eventually to get the results I wanted (Invisalign is awesome but I wasn’t wearing them like I should and it was taking forever to get where I needed to be) we went with braces and I was freaked out at first but for my teeth he said 3-6 months. Best Ortho office in town! Terrific office but it’s the team there that sets them apart, so friendly and welcoming every single time. Everyone is top notch, from Shannon in the front to the awesome ladies in the back Simona, Lily, Jenny, and Chrissy (all who’ve worked on my teeth at some point or another). UPDATE: I just got my braces off and am so excited and pleased with the results. My teeth look beautiful and healthy. The process of removal was quick and painless. Dr. Payne and the team at American River Orthodontics have been accommodating, professional and kind to me for the past two years. They have made every effort to ensure that I had all the knowledge I needed to have a successful treatment. I highly recommend American River Orthodontics for both children and adults. You won't disappointed! .... 18 months of having adult braces and going to Dr. Payne's office, I can confidently and happily say how satisfied I am with my orthodontic experience. My daughter had her palate expander installed at Dr. Payne’s office. The staff, from Shannon in the front, Sheryl in billing, and the amazing orthodontic assistants, to Dr. Payne have been kind and professional. Every time I call or visit the office I feel like they know me and my daughter. I’ve never felt like a nameless number. I have had nothing but excellent care from Dr Payne and his staff. Years ago I was diagnosed as needing jaw surgery and orthodontics to correct my malformed jaws. I put it off for many years, not being comfortable with other orthodontists I have met. It's a huge process, very life changing. But I am 100% comfortable with Dr Payne handling my care and know he is the best at handling complex cases. I have complete trust in his skills and knowledge. Simply the best there is!

We had a great experience the time went by fast. hearing the name Dr. Payne with kids growing up in the Arden Park area turned out to be great for the family.

from the first time I came in for an evaluation the staff have all been very understanding and patient with my schedule. I now have 3 kids currently in treatment and a 4th that will be starting treatment when I can. The staff all work with me and find a way to schedule all my appointments around my very busy schedule and get all kids in at the same time so I don't have to make multiple trips. I got my braces on in seventh grade and had a relatively bad overbite and 2 and a half years later, every flaw that my teeth had are now fixed. All of the people working here always told me exactly what they were doing and waiting a while to get my braces off was definitely worth it in the end.

We have been coming to Dr. Payne since my 15 year old son was 8 years old. Both my son and daughter have had Dr. Payne as their orthodontist. The staff is very friendly and works to accommodates busy schedules. I would highly recommend Dr. Payne.

Just like you, I'm no fan of dental office visits, but Dr Payne's operation is first class. Believe it or not, their great staff and good work make my visits enjoyable, given the circumstance.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Payne and his lovely assistants! All of the ladies were so kind, caring, fun, and extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about their work. I never had any issues with trusting them completely. Everybody always had a smile and the cookies at the front desk are awesome! 10/10 would recommend, especially for kids, because they really make you feel at home and comfortable.

at 52 I was leary about getting braces, but needed them in order to move to the next level of capping my teeth. I was referred to Dr Payne's office by my dentist and was so happy to go there. The staff made me feel like I was one of the family each time I arrived, they were so kind, funny and likeable that it made my visits a joy rather than a hassle. We love Dr. Payne and his office staff. They are so accommodating to our busy schedules. They have made custom mouth guards for my kids for soccer, baseball, football and Rugby! I know what the cost will be and the orthodontic treatment plan from the very beginning. There hasn't been any surprise extra fees for broken brackets or unexpected fixes. Dr. Payne has been outstanding in helping Kevin over the years, starting with a palate expander then on to braces.
