Although, I didn't have any work done....the staff was very attentive to all of my needs. The actual work will be done on Jan. 23rd and I am sure I will have more to say about my experience with the staff. At this time I am sure that I will be well cared for by every one. The staff was great on my second visit and Dr Nowell is my hero, and I am not exaggerating.. at all. I had 2 extractions and I didn't feel anything, and I healed overnight. Then he had to take an impression for additions to my partial....to make a long story short....I am free of loose teeth, my partial fits perfectly, after a couple extra visits....and I have Dr. Nowell's to thank, along with all of his wonderful staff members. So, from the bottom of my heart I would like to say thank you all for being so generous, helpful and very supportive of me throughout my time in the office. THANK YOU DR. NOWELL AND STAFF!!!

I love going to this dentist. All the employees are very caring and knowledgeable. The dentist is one of the smartest men you’ll ever meet. I’ve been going to this dentist for around 15 year or more I believe. I’ve tried many dentists and the only do what’s necessary and I’ve had less problems with my teeth going to them then I’ve ever had my whole life.

I’ve always had great care with Dr. Nowell and his staff. I have visited many dentists and he is by far the best.

Where do I begin, Dr. Nowell has been my dentist for over 10 years. As a person, I so appreciate Dr. Nowell. However, that is where it stops. Just like most people I avoid the dentist like the plague. The drilling, the anxiousness it not something I enjoy doing on a biyearly visit. SO to the best of my abilities I try to keep my teeth clean and looked after. Never had a problem, but the occasional very small cavity. In May of last year, I called into Dr. Nowell's office with considerable tooth pain. If you have ever had tooth pain you know it is unlike anything else. Ginger (office staff) rudely informed I had a balance on my account of $25 dollars. Yes $25.00 dollars, after paying this amount she proceeded to tell me that Dr. Nowell didn't have any openings for over a month and half. I expressed my pain, asked to be added to the cancellation list , and ended the phone call there. I called my mother in tears, knowing that I could not live with this pain for another month my mother called, less than 5 minutes later. Ginger was able to offer her an appointment a week later. My mom then asked her if I could take her spot. Also, I would like to note. My mother, my father, My grandmother, AND my husband are all patients of Dr. Nowell's. FOR YEARS, not months, not a few years but for over 10 YEARS!! The pain came from a tooth that required a root canal. I paid cash up front for every appointment, the root canal and the crown for the tooth in question. Around a total of $600.00! A few weeks after the root canal was completed. I called the office once more, my tooth was so sensitive. I called to verify that this should be happening because I was not familiar with root canals or crowns. The office staff was once again rude and replied "of course you are going to have sensitivity, you just had a root canal". So for 10 months I have lived with sensitivity. Over a month ago, I woke up in excruciating pain. My root canal is failing. I called to see if Dr. Nowell's could get me in to look at my tooth. In tears again, GINGER once again told me that she could not work me in until JUNE. Its February. Its the root canal they did!! Well guess what, if you have blue cross blue shield insurance. They will not cover work on the same root canal or revision on the same tooth for 5 years. After calling another dentist in Dothan (that I am not a patient of) they we able to work me in the same day. Even they could not believe the general disrespect, and lack of patient care this office has shown. I am now preparing to have a revision done on the same tooth that I paid over $600.00 to be done again. That will cost me $850.00 for the endodontist, and another $600 for a crown (which is not the full price, my new dentist, is offering me a discount because of the root canal failing). I will never return here. My family has decided they will not as well. After, finding a new dentist with a very FRIENDLY staff, unlike Ginger. Got an upper partial, luv the front teeth gap, gives a natural look. An imperfection in upper partials or dentures is way to go for natural look.

Dr. Nowell has been my dentist for over 25 years. When I first saw him I had several bad experiences with dentists in the past so had not been in over 10 years. Dr. Mike is hands down the best dentist in the Wiregrass. He has provided dental care for my whole family for over 35 years. Although my children are now grown and gone, they continue to return to him for dental care. Dr. Mime is the greatest. I highly recommend him as your dentist.

I’ve been a patient for about 10 or more years. Dr. Mike and the staff provide the best patient care. They are friendly, in fact, they have become friends and I appreciate their care all the more. Dr. Mike’s dentistry is excellent and I love his jokes that put me at ease. Where else can I be drilled for a new crown and look out the wall to wall windows overlooking the beautiful Golf Course of Dothan Country Club? Most people I know hate going to the dentist because they feel claustrophobic. Not here!

I went for a routine cleaning and my mouth looks and feels so good! Hygienist Susan was attentive to my comfort and even massaged my jaws, which helped loosen them. Dr Nowell checked my mouth as we chatted. They are thorough and friendly.

Having smashed my face in a fall on Nov 11, I took pix of the damage to my teeth and sent them to Dr. Nowell's office to see if they could help. They showed the pics to Dr Mike and I was pleased he could fix them. It took a while to heal before he could do anything, but got temp crowds about 6 weeks later. I just got my perment crowns today. Would have gotten them 2 weeks sooner but had a bad cold and cough so has to postpone until today. The care Dr Mike and his office staff showed during this traumatic event has been just amazing! This is the only dentist office I have ever looked forward to visiting, even for just teeth cleaning. I just love these folks. If you've ever had a bad experience with a dentist, call Dr Nowell's office. I promise they will care for you like family! My dental hygienist was kind and thorough while cleaning my teeth and gums. I felt very comfortable and at ease during the entire process. Brandy has been my hygienist for years and I trust her completely. Dr. Nowell examined my teeth and gums after the cleaning. This doctor and his staff is all about the money. They have dismissed me after being a patient for over 20 years all because of ONE bill. This so infuriates me!!! I will NEVER recommend him to anyone!!
