Excellent listener, very thorough, gets needed x-rays, mris, etc. Able to make good diagnosis, then more definitive once other tests are available. Overall a most excellent orthopaedist. I can understand why so many of his patients adore him- as I do too.

Dr. Neel and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I’ve had a knee and hip replacement and could not be happier with the results and the care before during and after surgery. Highly recommended.

Good visit once I got x-rayed. Office was busy that day so wait time was more than normal. Dr. Neel was engaging and apoligetic once he met with me. Diagnosis and treatment options were clearly explained. Don't understand what the user agreement has to do with a review or why I have to agree to it to make an evaluation.

I made an appointment with Dr. Michael Neel after having a very disturbing and disappointing experience with another surgeon at OrthoMemphis. After two years of questions, pain, and wondering what the heck happened during that surgery two years ago, I sought a long-desired 2nd opinion. Dr. Neel was highly recommended and has EXCELLENT reviews! In a nutshell, he did NOT DISAPPOINT! I left the office very satisfied with his explanations and suggestions, and was particularly relieved to have it confirmed that my questions were well-founded. (I KNEW I wasn't crazy!). I'd give him 10 stars, if it were an option. THANK YOU, DR. NEEL!! I ABSOLUTELY would recommend Dr. Neel to ANYONE!

First visit today and was extremely pleased overall. Dr. Neel took time to explain everything, gave me my first injection in the knee without pain. I highly recommend him and his staff. Everything was like clock work, from front desk to check out.

I worked with Dr. Neel at Wright Medical designing and manufacturing adjustable implants for children with bone cancer.

Dr Neel is very warm and explained the pros and cons for my knee replacement . I am more relaxed in that I will be in good hands when I go for the surgery

I’ve seen a lot of doctors the past couple of months, but I must say Dr.Neel was one of the best. He was very present and invested in my well being. His team was also great. Very kind and I would recommend him and his team to anyone.

Dr Neel explained everything I needed to know about my problem with my hip bone. He did not waste my time & he said that he will keep an eye on my hip for the next 3 months if there are any changes.

Dr Neel has been competent in every way.

Dr. Neel and the entire staff was great!! He took the time to explain what was wrong and why. He resolved the pain and set me up with therapists to avoid future problems!

I just had my second follow -up after my total hip replacement and I cannot believe I got in and out so quickly! Dr. Neel was as courteous as always. He was very encouraging and I don't have to return until next year! Listen, if you are having any issues with your hip(s), please consult with him. He won't pressure you but proceed as you choose!

Dr. Neel is an excellent physician, answered all my questions. Very passionate about his work and has empathy for his patients pain. I felt so much better after just seeing him and receiving his plan of action for my left knee pain & discomfort. He is very much worth the wait. He spends quality time with his patients. I never felt rushed.

Dr. Neel has the greatest skills and makes you feel at ease and safe in his care. His medical skills are absolutely top of the line and his personal skills relating to patients is also top of the line. Great choice for an orthopedic treatment. This is a large entity with a huge staff and the wait time is appropriate.

Not only is Dr. Neel a remarkable physician, but he is a remarkable man. Beyond his experience, education and training, he is a physician who demonstrates his deep compassion and empathy for his patients. Every physician in the country could learn much from Dr. Neel on how to be a physician. Being a physician is not simply about what one learns from the textbooks.
