Visited Dr. Munz at UF Health for carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Dr. Munz's office staff was very organized, and helpful. I only waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room and 5 mins in the exam room. Dr. Munz carefully explained the issues, answered all of my questions. I later returned for Carpal Tunnel release procedure and would not go anywhere else. I had immediate relief in my right hand with almost no bruising or swelling following the procedure. Dr. Munz was thorough, compassionate, and the appointment started promptly and was unrushed.

Saw Dr. Munz for a persistent problem with carpal tunnel.

Dr Munz made me a cripple. I had a drop foot for two days and he operated immediately on July 30:2018 to correct my drop foot. My foot has not moved since the surgery and I have to walk with a brace or cane. It was a successful operation as he got paid for making me a cripple.

Review continued. On my way home, I stopped at my primary physicians office and related the issues whereas they stated that they did indeed fax said authorization to their office and they would have been happy to redo that immediately if they had only been called. Well, apparently it’s not their job to help patients at Dr. Munz office.

Dr. Munz really helped out my family. Talented surgeon and listened to all our concerns.

I will defiantly recommend Dr. Munz for Spinal problems. I had spinal stenosis and had been misdiagnosed by a doctor with the V.A. as having Neuropathy. Dr. Munz saw the problem and with surgery on June 17th corrected the problem and gave me a new lease on life. No more back pain and I am grateful to Dr. Mike Munz for the relief

Horrible surgical coordinator, won't do her job. Wasted 3 months trying to get her to do her job, called my insurance company and found out she doesn't return their calls either. My procedure was denied because she didn't do her job.

I found Dr. MUNZ to be disorganized and uncaring. I was scheduled for a procedure and when I showed it had never been scheduled with the facility. He was short on explanation and explaining what was going on with my meningioma and really did not seem to take into account my concerns or answer my questions adequately.

His office mgr. is TERRIBLE. After being told in beginning? that I was a 100% disabled veteran and covered by VA medical, staff lied that they were unable to get permissions from VA. VA staff approved total payment for surgery. I went 3 months in pain without a date set for surgery. Apparently VA did not pay enough. I was terminated as a patient and left to suffer in pain. Af†er being referred to Dr. Munz at the ER, I informed him and his? staff that I was a 100% disabled veteran and that my primary health coverage was through the VA. His office contacted the VA, applied to be a vendor and was accepted. I also have Florida Blue insurance and because the payment was higher through FB they submitted a claim to them against my wishes. When? FB delayed approval they lied and said that they had not heard from VA. VA had contacted them and approved surgery? payment.

I was referred to Dr. Munz during an emergency visit to IRMC in September 2018. As a 100% disabled veteran, full payment for surgery was approved through the V.A. The office manager refused to work with the V.A. and attempted to bill my private insurance without my permission. I have been suffering in pain for 3 months without her returning my calls or advising me what she was attempting to do. She told me that she had not received approval from the V.A. so I called the V.A. to find out what the

Dr Munz, who is now practicing in Vero Beach, FL reviewed my medical issue and performed a highly complex Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion that has left me pain free from all prior conditions. I count myself very lucky to have had him as my surgeon.

Over a year ago I had a herniated disc in the lumbar region, severe herniation...I was hospitilized in probably the worst pain Ive ever experienced. I could no longer walk or turn from one side to the other in bed. I was really in pain and very scared. Dr Munz performed a laminectomy and I was up walking the next day. My sister has been using Dr. Munz for a while now and she really trusts him because of his honesty and concern. Great Dr. Our family trusts him and we know he is very thorough.

On Feb.14, 2010, I was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor, which is typically fatal in 6 months or less. The next day, Dr. Munz performed surgery to remove the tumor. Thank God and Dr. Munz, here I am 4 years later wiyh no sign of cancer on my latest MRI. Thank you Dr. Munz.
