incompetent dr treating my elderly family member for osteoarthritis for many years suffering unnecessarily. had rheumatoid arthritis instead nurse told him to do test for it sad nurse knew more than him!

Dr Mullins is not a good doctor. He lies to his patients to get them to believe what he says. If ur looking for a good pcp he's not it. Keep looking. You'll be better off.

Micheal Mullins seriously put my life in danger in May 2019. He lied and according to my previous pcp who stated this in my medical record that I was crazy and seeking medication. Dr Mullins then discontinued my meds and urged my previous pcp at that time not to write me any scripts including my depression meds etc. highly dangerous and if they had read black label warning on these depression meds they would have known stopping this type of medicine raises the risk of suicide by 4 times the national average. Dr Mullins shared my medical information over the phone to my past pcp without my consent and not to mention how did dr Mullins even know that who he was talking to was actually who they said they were? Anyone can call and say I am so an so’s pcp I need their medical records from where you treated them in the hospital. I guess hippa laws and regulations do not apply to dr Michael Mullins MD at Hamilton West family medicine. Dr Mullins lied about what really happend while I was In the hospital at NPMC for a week April 29-May 3 and cost me very valuable time in getting proper treatment for my bladder cancer that he missed because of the ill performed and read CT scan at NPMC in Hot Springs. This same CT scan said my appendix was well defined, beautiful, and healthy unfortunately had dr Mullins looked at my surgical history or heard my concerns about my abdominal issues then maybe dr Mullins would have wondered why does a person have a beautiful healthy appendix on this CT scan but this patient had an appendectomy over 10 years ago. Just A thought but maybe some further investigation was needed. Instead Dr Mullins was too concerned with making jokes and using vulgar language every time Mullins was on the ICU floor or in my room talking in front of my wife who I didn’t appreciate that type of language being used in front of her. He risked my life, caused me to have to spend time writing reports in May about everything Mullins did and didn’t do, trying to get these lies by Mullins and my previous pcp removed from my medical record instead of trying get treated for my health issues. Also on top of the three infections he did actually diagnose did not allow me to have or in the process of breaking hippa laws concerning my private medical record the four extra days I needed of antibiotics that he told my wife and I that I needed which ultimately led to two more infections and an extra week in the hospital towards the end of May. Very unethical illegal behavior by dr Mullins that should not happen ever as a medical doctor. Dr Mullins should be investigated and loose his license even if only a year suspension but his behaviors has caused me more medical issues, extra hospital stays, severe depression due to taking away my depression medication and overall Dr Mullins is not a very good doctor or has knowledge of proper ethical behavior. He broke my hippa rights by giving my previous PCP my health information over the phone and it was documented on my record. He missed the fact the CT scan showed I had an appendix but I should not have an appendix. I had an appendectomy over 10 years ago. He missed my cancer and overlooked my daily bloodwork that had serious problems.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mullins for about 10 years. He is absolutely amazing.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mullins since I moved to Hot Springs. He was recommended by a family member, and when we had to care for our elderly Mother, he was also her doctor until her death this year. We absolutely love and trust the care and consideration we receive from Dr. Mullins

He's very willing to listen, but you have to be patient because he wants to make sure he's hearing EVERYTHING you're saying. He wants to talk about 1 problem at a time, which is good, but when you have 12 problems and start rambling about them you have to remember, he's gonna focus on 1 at a time. He won't throw pills at you, he will send you to all the specialists you need to get to the root of the problem.
