About Dr. Michael Morris
Reviews for Dr. Michael Morris
Dr Morris is a fabulous doctor and we are beyond grateful for his knowledge and expertise. My son was in constant pain and losing weight. He was fairly quickly able to address the discomfort and then diagnose the issue. I have no issues with his personality but to be honest that is not my top priority, I care most that he is intelligent and explains things thoroughly. He gets top marks for both of those. This doctor’s visit was traumatic for me and my daughter alike. He used harsh words, and had no compassion or understanding towards my frightened child. When I questioned him regarding her treatment, he threatened to expel us from his office, and deny her treatment all together. He showed no flexibility and did not seem able to handle opposition or any form of questioning. By far, this is the most despicable medical provider I have ever seen, and it appalls me that Integris has him on their staff. He seemed to be improperly equipped to work with a more mature pediatric patient. Being a teenager, my daughter was very concerned about interrupting her school and extracurricular life with invasive/time consuming tests, and “Dr.” Morris seemed as if he would never take that into account and was preoccupied with his own selfish agenda. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, unless they prefer to be talked down to and chastised by a so-called pediatric specialist.

Dr Morris is not a good doctor he acted like he my child was lying about the pain she is having . Yes it’s not constant but it’s still there and it’s not going away . He needs to be a better doctor and actually listen to his paitents their parents and family history . Like we have proof that there is something going on but as usual he wants to push it under the rug . Well you will No longer see my child . The absolute worst experience ever!! I would never ever let this man see my child again. Not only can you never get anyone to answer the phone when you call to get an appointment but when you do actually get an appointment it’s not even worth it. Dr. Morris was rude and disrespectful. I would never recommend him to anyone I care about! He yelled at me in front of my son about something that my PCP should have ordered and that I had no control over. When he left the room my 6 year old son couldn’t even believe that he treated me that way. I am pretty thick skinned being a nurse myself but I left in tears from being treated the way he treated me! Terrible experience. One of many things during our appt.... I Did not appreciate how he lectured me that celiac was a disease, when i’m perfectly aware of it. Considering 2 of my kids have lived with it everyday for 8+ years. Btw I wasn’t even there to discuss my celiac kids, it was their half brother who’s side of the family doesn’t carry those genes AND was being seen for totally different issues. Dr Morris probably a decent person but a terrible physician. Terrible experience. One of many things during our appt.... Dr Morris saw my son & was so thorough I asked if he could be his pediatrician! My son was crying day & night, Dr Morris ran some test & told me exactly what was wrong, even drew a diagram to show me what was happening with my baby. It was a simple fix thank God but without Dr Morris I would’ve never known! This was 11yrs ago but I still remember as if it were yesterday! Thanks again! Although most of these reviews of Dr. Morris are bad, my son and I had an awesome experience with him. Dr. Morris is very thorough and did a great job looking at my son's overall health. He explained everything and paid great attention to all of my son's health history which has possibly lead to his mystery diagnosis being solved. Thank you Dr. Morris for all of your help! If I could give him negative stars, I would. Frankly, the appointment was traumatic. My 11yo daughter had a POSITIVE antibody test for Celiac and with symptoms and family history, there was no doubt she had it. The doctor told me it would be child abuse to put her on a gluten free diet-the only treatment for Celiac! Imagine a medical professional telling a parent of a child with a peanut allergy that keeping them peanut-free was child abuse. It was ludicrous! He proceeded to chew me out for even coming to see him while pulling down my daughter’s pants and mashing on her stomach. I’m not sure why we were allowed to make an appointment if he had no intention of even treating my daughter... Absolutely terrible physician.
The nurse here was the rudest person I've came across in a long time. I brought my son in who is having stomach problems and in pain everyday. I wait a month for a appointment and get there with my son AND my daughter who I can't leave at home alone and she tells me only one parent and one child. I said what am I supposed to do with my other child she said it wasn't her problem and she would tell the Dr. we weren't able to be seen. I've been to many Drs, dentists and hospitals for tests during this Covid outbreak and I've never had a problem bringing in both children. So a mother who is stressed beyond all, not knowing whats wrong with her child goes to a specialist after a month of waiting and the nurse is so rude and uncompassionate that you have to leave with no answers for her son and figure out what to do next. I am shocked to read all of these comments about Dr. Morris being rude and disrespectful. We have had the complete opposite experience. Dr. Morris was extremely respectful and knowledgeable. I felt like he truly cared about my son. He asked me several times if I had any questions. He talked to my son about his interests and related those interests to his personal life. terrible. he was smart and knew what he was talking about but not worth the rude staff. the reception lady or his nurse is awful. does not know how to treat families in crisis.
If I could leave negative stars I would. He is a very hateful mean man - horrible to my child that was in pain. His demeaning attitude and callous ways make me wonder why he would have gone into any speciality having to do with children in the first place. The ONLY reason he gets patients is there are no options here.
He is the absolute WORST doctor we’ve ever been to ! So hateful and rude and said my daughter just needed to deal with her issues and talked to us as if we were stupid for telling what her amazing doctors told us she was diagnosed with and all the procedures she’s needed and my husband told him twice to watch how he was talking to me and he didn’t then I finally stood up grabbed our stuff and said this is enough ! Right now the office is two stars. It may change if the receptionist will actually answer the phone and I can actually make an appointment or at least see if they have the referral. This office seems to operate in the most inefficient way possible. I’m considering finding another office just on principle alone.
Dr Morris has always been so great, thorough, competent, kind, professional, helpful, clear and concise with the treatment of our daughter with Crohns. We follow his recommendations. We do what he says and our daughter has not had any complications. He was clear in his instructions that she must take her medications, she must follow-up as recommended, she must be honest about her symptoms. We are thankful for Dr. Morris and highly recommend him.
this dr is not all he sayes he said his own er gave meds to hurt my sons liver and that when his liver pumps the wrong WAY to his stomach we just let the boy be sickly and it did not matter if I asked a question he started to get made at me for tring to find out if there was anything I could do to help my son. do not trust this dr. he lies and leAves you waiting for apparently a appointment that doesn't do what he said 4 months ago. he old and out of date. we waited and now he yelling at the mother for questions. if you have a small child with liver problems go else where. this dr is not all he sayes he said his own er gave meds to hurt my sons liver and that when his liver pumps the wrong WAY to his stomach we just let the boy be sickly and it did not matter if I asked a question he started to get made at me … More
I was referred to this physician to see my son for chronic stomach issues and the receptionist was very rude, kept cutting me off, and refused to give me an appointment, she does not have any empathy even if your physician is so busy to see someone that is not how you speak to patents! I hope Dr Morris knows how you chase away potential patients, very MEAN so disappointed in INTEGRIS, I rated him okay since my issue is with staff and I didnt see him, they are mandatory fields
My daughter has a g-tube and has been seen at OU. We haven't been happy with OU and have been considering switching. My daughter jashas been having trouble with her feeds, so I called Dr. Morris to get her seen. Carol answered and wouldn't even let me finish asking for an appointment before demanding mine and my childs name. She realized we weren't current patients and told me they wont give a second opinion and told me to go out of state. What an incredibly hateful woman.
Dr. Morris was precise, thorough, direct, and extremely knowledgeable. He is an impressive physician. He does not, however, coddle. He expects your entire attention and well deserves it. Our multiple questions were answered, our daughter was diagnosed accurately, and she is being effectively treated. He has exceeded our expectations.
Called in to see about getting a 2nd look at my son. The lady told me they wouldn't see him since he has been seen at OU. She was rude and not helpful at all. She told me to go out of state if I want to see another doctor.
At first the office called as we pull into parking garage to tell us our appt was actually on a different day. We'd had the appt for over a month though! Then Dr Morris was cold and callus toward us. Basically telling my daughter to deal with her problems. Then when I called requesting a school note they tell me that her PCP will have to write note even though they had nothing to do with this issue. What a crock! Do not bother with him go elsewhere! Dr. Morris was very well mannered and very thorough. He explained everything in great detail to where we could understand. Our 2 month old has had constant vomitting since birth with no answers. I feel that he has came up with a great plan and highly recomend him.
Been battling with the unknown of my grandson. Went to several doctors with no answers and no explanations just deal with it. Dr Morris addressed every question and concern. We brought with us several family members as we thought we were going to have to battle yet another doctor for help and answers. He welcomed us all in the tiny room and patiently answered every question from each one of us. He has already done 3 tests we have been begging for and we are set up for another. He spent an hour with us. Could not ask for a better Doctor. We left his office we hope that noone else was able or willing to give us. Would recommend in a heart beat. Dr. Morris is a phenomenal physician. I highly recommend his services and know that my children are in good hands when they are in his care. Unfortunately, his scheduling nurse Ellen is awful. She pressures you into scheduling appointments and procedures without adequately explaining what all is involved. She alone has made me consider seeing another physician for my children's care. In the new world of pay for performance, having staff that counteract your hard work is extremely detrimental.

The other negative reviews depict many similarities in our appointments with Dr. Morris. I believe the problem is he becomes grossly offended with questions and concerns. If you are the type of person who does what the doctor orders without question or raising a concern you will have a good experience.

This man is vial. By far the worst Doctor we've come in contact with ever. He is downright mean and dismissive. He told us it was a privilege to see him. That we are lucky because he tells kids that they can't come back if they are bad. My son was crying because he was so mean to him and the doctor looked at me and said handle it or you guys need to leave.)
I am very grateful for Dr. Morris. My daughter was declining fast with undiagnosed ulcerative colitis and suffering tremendously. He went through all the steps from blood work, physical exam, blood stool test and finally he scoped her and diagnosed her with ulcerative colitis. He prescribed Asacol and she started improving with in days and now leads a very normal life. I praise God for doctors like him.

We didn't get seen unt 1hr40min after our appt time, though wr were there at least 30min prior to fill out paperwork. Dr.Morris came highly recommended. He seemed to give the cold shoulder, he wasn't hateful but not kind. He basicallu said he didn't know what we wanted from him - our dr told us she wanted us to see him- and he said he specializes in helping ppl with difficult stuff, not simple everyday problems that wr need to learn to take of ourselves.

My wife and I took our 8 week old daughter to see Dr. Morris. We entered with a hopeful heart that he would be able to provide answers and relief to our baby who has been suffering from sever acid reflux. Dr. Morris entered the room with a cold manner and avoided eye contact. He spent approximately 30 minutes reading the paper work that we had just filled out and asking every question a second time. Then he went into great detail explaining reflux and food sensitivity/allergies. Then, that lead into him telling us we needed to learn to deal with it. He said that we could take her to any other GI and they would tell us the same thing. He let us know that we weren’t as bad off as other parents who have lost a child due to procedure complications or side effects from medicine. My wife asked a simple question about the medication our daughter was on and he yelled at her and told her “because it just works!” My wife became upset and started crying and he told her “no matter how pissed off at me you get, it’s not going to make me prescribe you more medicine.” I want to assure everyone reading this, nobody in that room was pissed off but him and we aren’t even sure why he was mad. Throughout the whole visit he was rude, cold, and did not try to offer any help or suggestions other than “deal with it”. We left very discouraged and helpless.
