Great Doc

Doctor Miranda Really cares about his patients he has been amazing over the last 17 years and I love his Sparkle in his eyes

I had my right knee replacement done by Dr. Miranda and I have much relief from pain he did an excellent job. I will be making an appointment with him to replace my left knee. I think he is an excellent surgeon and his PA are very professional and always responded to my medical concerns promptly. Ozzie Williams

Contacted Dr. Miranda's office after breaking my arm and being told by another surgeon to give it 3-4 weeks and hope it heals. Dr. Miranda reviewed my faxed records and x-rays and saw me in the office within 4 hours of the 1st call. Great bedside manner, took time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions. Did the surgery less than 24 hours later. Arm is very functional less than three weeks later. Based on findings during surgery its unlikely my arm would have healed naturally.

I had to take time off work for the appointment. I waited 30 min until the PA arrived who repeated questions from the questionnaire about my shoulder pain. Surgery recommended after X-rays examined; I saw the Dr for maybe 15 minutes; was charged over a thousand dollars for the visit! They never billed Medicare, and are billed me for nearly the entire amount. Thank God my second opinion surgeon found the torn bicep tendon that this Dr never even saw! I will never recommend this office.

I went to see Dr. Miranda for cortisone shot in my knees. He told me I needed knee replacement of both knees but would not do surgery because I was moving to South Carolina. I suffered with knee pain for six months. Went to orthopedic surgeon who did X-rays and compared theirs with the disk I brought from Dr. Miranda. I was told I did not need surgery and got cortisone shot. Pain level went from a ten to a two. Sorry I didn't get a second opinion while still in CT..

I went to see Dr Miranda for a torn calf muscle, unable to walk and severe pain. he literally spent just 2 min overall without giving any details or diagnosis to me. Just gave a referral to PT and was in a hurry to leave. Why should I pay huge specialist fee for a face to face of 2 min?

Dr Miranda and Melissa we're real nice to me my femur had a non-union fracture Dr Miranda was able to fix it and I'm walking again was also always wondering how I was doing

I was in a severe car accident in 2008 that nearly severed my arm. dr Miranda saved me. my arm was paralyzed for two years but with dr Miranda's life saving work i have some use of my arm today. Best Dr ever.

Don't bother calling Dr. Miranda's office if you have Husky. I was rudely told - after being given the run-around about getting an appointment in the first place - that they don't take my insurance and good luck. I won't be calling Hartford Hospital any time soon for my healthcare needs.

I've seen Dr. Miranda numerous times starting when I was just 16 years old and I'm 42 now. He is easily one of the best, if not the best, doctors I've ever dealt with. Additionally, I worked for many years as a Workers Compensation adjuster so I became very familiar with the outcomes of many doctors and again Dr. Miranda came out at the top of my list.

I would definitely go back to him for any orthopedic problems. He is very personable and explained everything well to me as an elderly patient.
