Dr Mills has been our GI since 2018. Yesterday my wife had a colonoscopy to diagnose a GI issue she has had for a month. After the procedure, Dr Mills explained the issue & how to treat it. As always, he was extremely knowledgable, professional & compassionate. From the intake nurse to the nurse accompanying my wife to our car, the Staff is first rate. Professional, friendly & efficient was the standard.

Dr. Mills is extremely personable and professional. I felt at ease about my procedure. His staff was courteous, efficient and warm. I was well informed of the preparation ahead of time and everything went smoothly the day of the procedure. I’d recommend Dr. Mills and his staff wholeheartedly!

Just moved here and in dire need of gastroenterologist. Dr Miller was patient in listening to my medical history and offering insight. So far very satisfied w our relationship. His office even called to explain recent results of MRI and made sure I understood. 5 stars.

The whole procedure was good, I felt like everyone had my care as their main focus! I would recommend Dr Michael Mills to everyone he makes you feel safe and that he cares about you as a person and not just a number! He has that special vibe that his patients are the most important part of his day! He is truly blessed with all that he does for his team and his patients!

Michael Mills, MD is an outstanding physician. Since being his patient for over 30 years, I have continued to have him as my Gastroenterologist even after moving my PCP and other care to Mayo Clinic. He is very well thought of by the Mayo team with one doctor telling me “ why would you ever leave one of the best in his specialty”! I totally agree - the best in his specialty. I had my first colonoscopy via AZ Digestive Health/Dr. Mills. I was a tad apprehensive but Dr. Mills and the excellent staff at the clinic put me at ease. Very professional and empathetic. The process was very clean, fast, and efficient. Would highly recommend.

The staff was knowledgeable and very supportive during the entire visit and procedure. Dr Mills provided a through briefing before the procedure which established a high confidence level. The anesthetic was smooth and quick, which helped me easily slide into recovery. After the procedure, Dr. Mills gave a complete description of what happened and again boosted my confidence. I was delighted that Dr Mills was willing to have a follow-up visit to review all the results in detail, and describe next steps.

Colonoscopy. All his Staff was extremely informative and pleasant, including Dr. Mills. The procedure was seamless, out like a light quickly and awake an hour or so later. My results were explained fully. Thank you all.

Dr. Mills is an investigavtive doctor. He listens carefully, never in a rush. He asks a lotof questions and answered all of mine. Gastro issues can be caused by a variety of causes and he follows symptoms like clues, develops a comprehensive protocal of relevent testing and carefully considers pharmaceutical and dietary responses for optimal diagnosis and health recovery.

Everyone was so nice and helpful.. Other than the fact that 1 of the nurses had trouble finding a vein for my IV, and had to get another nurse, everything was top notch!

I had a terrible experience with Dr Mills and his office staff. I don’t understand how so many can recommend him. Especially because he was blatantly rude, disrespectful, condescending, insensitive, judgemental & callous. Maybe he used to be a good doctor but those days are over. I do NOT recommend Dr Mills

I saw Dr Mills for abdominal pain and known Celiac management. He took the time to listen to my concerns, actually reviewed my education history, and was aware of the right specialists in the valley for my Ehlers Danlos management. He was familiar with MCAS as well, which is uncommon. I do wish it had been an in person visit instead of virtual, but that’s just the times we live in.

Dr. Mills was excellent! His approach was very calm and informative. The process was easy and seamless. His staff was wonderful as well, from the moment I arrived until I left. Thank you Dr. Mills and staff!

Dr. Mills and his entire team were extremely courteous, professional, efficient (without feeling rushed), good humored and competent. As was the case for the pre-procedure materials, the take home materials were very well organized, well presented, clear and helpful. The post-procedure follow up call was prompt. All of this is consistent with my previous two appointments with Dr. Mills in past years. It would be difficult to imagine a better experience.

Dr. Mills has been my GI doc for 15 years. He is kind, compassionate and listens to what you say. He understands Ehlers- Danlos and knows how to help patients who have some unusual health issues associated with it. I value him as an important member of my health care providers!

Dr. Mills took the time to review “old school” rules for diverticulitis and what today’s preferred approach is. He also gave me guidance on diet that is more current than on line info.

I have never been treated so poorly by a physician. I was told by him he would try to help me and instead he did 3 tests and then told me to go back to my previous GI because they were negative. This is not my idea of help. I'm so very disappointed.
