Do not take your child to this doctors office! I made an appointment two weeks ago as a new patient filled all my forms out before coming. Arrived 15 minutes early and soon was taken in for hearing test. After the hearing test, I was told the doctor will be with you shortly and they sent me back to the waiting room. An hour later I was still not into see the doctor and was told it would be shortly. People came in and left and I still wasn't called in. After being there almost 2 hours since I arrived, I went to the front desk canceled my appointment and left. How do you let a five-year-old wait over an hour and an half past their appointment and still not call them. Do not go here! UPDATE -they had the nerve to bill me a copay for a hearing test I never wanted or needed -my appt was for the doctor and they have the nerve to bill me after they made my 5 yr old wait two and 1/2 hours and was never seen

Dr took the time to explain his diagnosis then gave us all of our options. No pressure to make a quick decision. And explained the procedure he was performing when we opted for the tongue tie snip on our newborn.

He was very kind and considerate

Best thing i ever did was find an ENT that i trusted for my first kid. 3 kids later and i feel like im seeing Dr. Mendelsohn weekly. I trust his opinion. Has a ton of availability too which is very convenient.

Do not use this doctor, he is negligent and makes recommendations based on how much money he can get out of you over a long period of time. No concern for patient suffering.

Great same day appointment options. Dr. Mendelsohn was very kind and knowledgeable. He took his time and was very thorough. Didn't feel rushed at all. The wait was a little long, but probably my fault for not having done my paperwork online first. Staff was lovely too. Definitely recommend!

Better than I had hoped for. I’m not a fan doctors, and never see any, but they made me feel at ease.

Before making an appointment I called office to make sure he accepted my insurance. The woman assured me that he does. I made an appointment online (where Ialso entered all my insurance information). The next week I drove over 45 minutes to the office. His receptionist took one look at my insurance card and informed me that he does NOT accept my insurance. I wish the office staff would've informed me that before I wasted 1.5 hours (and waiting a week until my appointment). Dr. Mendelsohn was recommended by a friend of mine and thankfully he took our insurance. We've had zero issues with his staff and i would definitely recommend him. He's so great with our son and with us as well.

Dr. Mendelsohn and the entire ENT team have been nothing short of outstanding. Our 8 year old son has had 3 sets of tubes implanted and his adnoids srcaped over the last 6 ½ years. Dr. Mendelsohn has always made us feel confident and comfortable with every procedure to ensure our sons health. There is an office 10 minutes from our house in Melville but we choose to drive over a half hour to the Garden CIty office for our son’s checkups every 3 months due to his compassionate approach to our child. I would highly recommend Dr. Mendelsohn to anyone in need of ENT issues. Dr. Mendelsohn and the entire ENT team have been nothing short of outstanding. We’ve had a great experience at ENT and Allergy Associates. The front desk has always been very helpful and we’ve never had issues with appointments or any other matters. As for Dr. Mendelsohn he did the tubes procedure on our son back in June and it went great and since our son has not had 1 ear infection when he would have multiple ear infections on both ears. He’s does 3 month follow-ups which I know not every doctor does. We came here via recommendation from a family member and it definitely paid off. I highly recommend Dr. Mendelsohn and his staff. Dr. Mendelsohn recommended by Beach Pediatrics. Entire process so easy and they were all so pleasant. The staff had Dr. M call me at work (my husband there w/my son) on speaker so I could hear everything / give details about why my son was there, along w/ what my husband said. Dr. M listened attentively, explained exactly what he was doing and made me feel as if I was there in the examining room. The scheduling staff was so nice--thanks Joanne. Great experience w/excellent outcome. Thanks!!!!!!!

Dr. Mendelsohn is very knowledgable and really listened to us as the parents of his patient. He asked us an array of questions in an attempt to get to the bottom of her issue. I will never go anywhere else!
