Dr. Michael John Meighen

Completely impressed with both my results and the treatment from Dr. Meighen. I have struggled with my health for years and for the 1st time... I found a Doctor who is interested in helping me live longer and more healthy than ever before. My first interaction with Dr. Meighen set the tone as he started with a run down of my labs and then asked what I wanted in the way of my health. (WOW a Doctor who cares about what I want for my life!!) So we discussed it and then started working on a plan. I have been under his care for the past 6 months and am very happy with the results! Currently I am stronger physically, mentally and am in the best health of my adult life! I'm excited about the future and DO recommend Dr. Michael Meighen to anyone I cared about. I sought out Dr. Meighen because of his expertise in regenerative and restorative medicine after discovering his best-selling book, A New You. I suffer from chronic pain and he offered me nonsurgical, nonpharmacological, healthy options outside the standard medical model. After being frustrated with the standard options for decades, I am extremely satisfied that I now have a treatment plan that is effective, sustainable, and far better than anything my other physicians have offered. I am now restoring my body rather than just putting off its inevitable painful demise! His emphasis on longevity is exactly what I have been looking for! He is not just a forward-thinking, effective physician, he is a genuine, caring, human being.

I am very sorry to report that this physician has treated me very very badly. I can not recommend him as a physician to anyone. I tried to get some help and he refused to help me and he did not seem to be an honest man. He refused to help a friend in need.

He doesn't listen to the patient. He wrote in my records I wasn't being truthful about my injury. (Which I was) And brushed me off as if to say NEXT. Thank God I went to another doctor who Immediately scheduled me for back surgery. The other doctor said he doesn't know how I walked around for 3 years with that injury to my back. Maybe if it wasn't a work injury Meighen would have had a heart. Even lied and said I asked him to take me out of work!!!! ??

I was assigned this doctor for a worker's compensation case. He has no bedside manner whatsoever, rude, cruel, arrogant and direct. He treated me less than dirt, certainly not like a human being. He didn't care that I had been injured. He didn't even know me! He cancelled chiropractic care without telling me, left me with a $2,600 bill that took me over a year to pay off. It reminded of me of how I was treated in an abusive marriage. He made me cry.

My experience is every persons nightmare who is in pain needing someone to listen but get a brickwall. His bedside manner is awful. When one thing fells he does not want to try other areas. He is a very fit gentleman, who is very militant, hardcore. It's his way or not way. He is the professional but only you know your body. I've visited 3 times and on my 2nd visit he told me if this medication didn't work then nothing will. Not even willing to try something less side effect or less strength

Very professional (BS) gave me a through exam. Got spinal injection week later, much better next day!

Unprofessional, not willing to listen, rolled eyes the entire appointment, makes ridiculous recommendations, non chalant attitude, better suited working behind the scenes than directly with the public. F minus.

Dr. Meighen is a very condensing doctor....your first time meeting him he comes into the room with his arms cross as if why are you here, bothering me Very displeased with his manners as a physician. Would not recommend him to no one. Another doctor told me I had one medical problem and Dr. Meighen says no you don't. Ask what is the problem and he could not answer..Worthless!!!!

If I could give him one star I would .. gives the wrong diagnosis to his patients..tries everything he can to avoid a surgery even when it's the best option...doesn't listen doesn't care about your issues ... after a year still couldn't help my problem .. horrible excuse for a doctor

Would not recommend. Did not listen to the issues, concerns, difficulties I was experiencing. His mind was made up regarding a diagnosis, or lack thereof, after 1st visit and could not convince him otherwise. Would never use him again.
