From the 1st consultation to the day of my surgery he never once had a slightly exceptional bedside manner. He spoke very condisentingly to me (I’m a nurse). First from the moment I sat with him in his office he almost immediately told me there was nothing wrong with my gallbladder, even thought I was admitted for 4 days because of it. The surgeon and gastrointerologost who I both spoke to stated I need to have it take out immediately. They placed me through 7 more test and 2 additional ER vistits for him to agreee to remove it finely. I was less than 12 hours post-op with chills and 3 fevers awhile after taking Advil, 102.2, 102.1, and then an hour or more after the Advil 102.3. I proceeded to call his office and spoke to a very nice lady named Keisha who tried calling him, but Dr.McLaughlin did not answer, she paged him to have him call me, but it took 45mins for him to return my call. When I explained this to him he was very cold and not concerned in any way. I told him that I waited, but since he hadn’t call back I was having my father take me to the ER. He told me there was no use and to turn and go home. I have a fever from not deep breathing/coughing. I’ve have 2 c-sections and never had this happen I until I was sick and they re-admitted for IV antibiotics. I chose this MD based reviews. Maybe he’s a good surgeon, but extremely horrible bedside manor. I personally would not recommend him to my worse enemy. If you ever need surgery this is the Dr to go to. Dr and office staff are all great. Very caring. I can say nothing but positive things about him.

The first visit to Dr. Mclaughlin was for my son many years ago. His knowledge of my son's medical condition, his taking time to explain, and his compassion is why I recently ask my primary physician to refer me to Dr. Mclaughlin for surgery to remove a mass in my arm. At my pre-op visit earlier this month he explained my options. He was patient and answered all my questions. Today, Dr. Mclaughlin excised the arm mass. He made certain that I was comfortable during the surgery and he discussed the procedure as he worked. His bedside manners were great. I highly recommend this surgeon. I also want to mention the office staff. They are awesome. During each of my visits I could tell that they care about the patients. This surgeon and his team is a 5! Dr McLaughlin is truly a doctor that Truly cares About his Patients! He Immediately called my 18 year old son " my care Giver " within minutes Of my Surgery to tell him my surgery when well And I was doing fine, which Meant the world to My son Tyler! He visited me daily and to Encourage Me to Quicken my recovery from major Surgery! I was Reluctant to leave the hospital because Of the amount of pain I was in, but he Encouraged Me to go home so I would be more active to Quicken my recovery and that he was jyst a phone Call away, he also called me at home the night Of my release from the Hospital to Reassure me That I was doing fine and he would be checking on Me until my followup appointment! That phone Call meant the world to me and gave me the will Power to push myself to heal faster! My son and i Thank GOD for putting this man in our lives after So many months in pain! Dr. McLaughlin is an exceptional doctor. While undergoing a procedure, he explained exactly what he was doing and made sure I was okay at the same time. His nurse, Charlotte, comforted me at times when I needed comforting. His receptionist, Cathy, is extremely friendly and very helpful with signing in and taking care of billing issues. If I ever need another procedure done, I will always request Dr. McLaughlin. Dr. McLaughlin is an exceptional doctor. I had never heard the name Dr McLaughlin before I had to have a biopsy. Since January of 2018 I have heard the name over 100 times and each time it was an exceptional review. I was referred to this office by my primary physician and I will be forever grateful for that. Dr McLaughlin is a very professional surgeon with s great bedside manner. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and he has taken the time in his busy schedule to fit me in Everytime I needed him. He does not rush you out and takes the time to explain everything associated with your issues. His staff will bend over backwards to get you the help you need. Dr. McLaughlin is a very compassionate doctor. He takes time to answer all your questions and puts you at ease. He cares about the patient and always takes time to listen. I trust him with my life. I highly recommend Dr. McLaughlin to anyone. There is no one better!

I have been a patient of Dr. Michael McLaughlin since he began his practice. He has always been the most thoughtful, considerate, and trustworthy doctor you could ever have. He always took the time to answer any questions I might have and was always there to reassure me. He is someone you trust completely. When my daughter moved to another state he took the time to call and give her advice after a busy day of seeing patients and I will never forget his act of kindness. He is one of the best!

I had an arm mass excised by Dr. Mclaughlin. I cannot say enough about how satisfied I about the preop appt., surgery, the receptionnist, the nurse. Dr. Mclaughlin patiently and clearly explained my procedure at preop visit. During my surgery he clearly explained what he was doing while the sweet nurse was very attentive to me, making sure I was ok. Dr. Mclaughlin is the surgeon to go to if you want a knowledgable, caring, and patient surgeon. I feel blessed to have him as my surgeon.

Dr. McLaughlin provided excellent care. He explained what would happen before, during, and after my procedure in a completely understandable manner. His follow up was also very professional and the overall experience and results were excellent

Dr. McLaughlin was an absolute pleasure to deal with. His office staff is extremely nice, appointments were on time, quick, and thorough. He clearly explained the surgery and the recovery steps. I would recommend Dr. McLaughlin to anyone needing a surgeon.

A few years ago I was treated by Dr. Mclaughlin and am pleased to share a perfect rating of him and his staff with other patients. In my opinion there are none better.

Dr. McLaughlin is an excellent doctor. He is compassionate, caring and easy to talk to. His office staff is exceptional. Highly recommend him to anyone who needs a general surgeon.

Unfortunately I had to have my gallbladder removed. Fortunately, I chose Dr. McGlaughlin. He & his office staff were so good to me. The staff was very helpful in scheduling & filing insurance papers for me, not to mention just making me feel like I have known them forever. Dr. McGlaughlin was right there for me when I went through the ER. He came in on a Sunday and did the surgery! I feel better than I have in a long time! Thanks Dr. Mike, I’m proud to call you My surgeon. You’re the best!

Awesome Doctor and Staff. Very helpful and courteous. I felt like a person and not just another patient. The Doctor listened to me. Rare these days!! I'm a happy healthy person thanks to Dr. McLaughlin!!

Very professional, personable and informative always working to achieve the best outcome for his patients.Over the years Dr. Mike treated my parents, my husband and I, we are confident, his knowledge, experience and compassion have positively impacted results. I would without reservation highly recommend Dr McLaughlin. We are very fortunate to have this skilled professional in our community.

Dr. McLaughlin is the most trusted physician I could ever imagine having. His knowledge and work are excellent. He found a lump that the mammogram and ultrasound did not see.

My wife was in considerable amount of pain. I called Dr. McLaughlins office the staff worked my wife in as busy as he was. They got her in immediately to see the doctor and he look at her and within 3 days he had her on the operating table to remove the gallbladder. The results has been great and we highly recommend him.

I recently had minor surgery done by Dr. McLaughlin. He has done several others (minor) in the past and I would recommend him to anyone. He and his staff are very kind and caring. He is very thorough in anything he does. I give him an A+. PS: he also did surgery on my late husband.

Was referred to Dr. McLaughlin by another physician for surgery. When I met with him he said that I didn't need surgery and took it upon himself to review my records with a pathologist and another surgery who concurred with him. Well worth the copay!

Dr McLaughlin is a excellent doctor , I am a breast cancer patient and I feel I received the best care possible , I trusted him completely . Everything went smoothly and quickly . I would have no other surgeon , he's the best ....Virginia werstler

Highly recommend Dr McLaughlin and his staff. From the time I called for an appointment, walked into the office, through surgery and follow-up appointments I felt like I was thier #1priority. Thank you Dr McLaughlin and staff for getting me through this very stressed period so quickly. If I ever have a similar issue in the future I would not hesitate to request Dr McLaughlin as my surgeon of choice.

I was referred to Dr. McLaughlin 3 years for Basel Cell Carcinoma surgery. Immediately we were struck by the professional friendliness of his office. Dr. McLaughlin is an outstanding surgeon with a that makes him easy and comfortable to talk to. This January we again saw Dr. McLaughlin. The office staff, again, was efficient, know their patients and warmly greet them by name. An outstanding feature to us was Dr. McLaughlin never overbooks. The wait time is short. Highly recommend..

I went to Dr. McLaughlin for a surgical consult for my hernia. He was not able to do my surgery because he no longer has access to the hospital that my insurance fits. Yet he gave me sage empathetic advice and directed me to a different physician that he trusts. He and his staff gave me attention, compassion, and time. I would not hesitate what so ever to direct anyone to this caring, compassionate healer.

You couldn't ask for a better staff. They are helpful above and beyond the call of duty. Dr McLaughlin has a great bedside manner. Took time to explain things. My 2-3 inch incision looks like it will leave minimal scaring. I highly recommend Dr M.

As a New patient who spends winters in Florida, I had to have a surgeon evaluate an issue that was found by my northern Doctor! I called the office and was immediately given an appt. I had my records sent and Dr M was very well prepared for my appt. He was thorough, concerned, and very professional! I felt as if I have known him for years!
