Thorough, conservative, thoughtful, and respectful. Really appreciate his approach.

Was able to have my mom seen quickly and plan for next steps

Dr. Martin is FANTASTIC. When I had a cortisone shot today he explained everything that he was doing.

Had back surgery, Dr. Michael Martin was the surgeon. Great job. Super staff. Efficient and kind. I am very grateful and have a lasting confidence in this professional establishment. Highly recommended to anyone needing this type of care.

Dr Martin is very thorough and communicates your medical situation very effectively. He is detail oriented and is committed to given you the best attention available. He has tremendous compassion for his patients and has their best interest as his priority.

Waited over an hour and the assistant didn’t know how much longer so had to reschedule. Our time is just as important and should be respected. If the Dr continually is that far behind then there is a scheduling issue that needs to be addressed.

Dr Martin is very nice and takes time to explain the diagnosis in layman's terms. .y only downside thought that after I was lead to the exam room, I waited 40 minutes passed my appt time. Part of that was filling in volumeness paperwork part of could have been filled out after the appt.

This is the best Orthopedic Doctor you will ever find. He is honest and very knowledgeable. One of those graduated top of his class kind of guy.

The staff was very professional and friendly, and Dr. Martin kept me informed during my procedure. I was very pleased with my overall experience. Dr. Martin, diagnosed my symptoms and he was right on and I now have 99% less pain. Thank you, Dr. Martin.

Dr. Martin is the best doctor around, he truly cares about his patients and works hard to get them the treatment that they need! You can trust him!!!!! it’s not all about getting paid for him, it’s about taking care of people. I highly recommend him and would feel confident he would take care of any and all of my family members if they needed help!

Dr. Michael Martin has been my spine surgeon since 1994. He has done so much to try to keep my back as functional as possible after a work injury, followed by four years of denials for the needed surgical repair from an industrial insurance department, which he fought for with me all those years. When finally approval came, Dr. Martin was only able to try to stabilize the damage, some of which had become permanent. Five surgeries now all together, trying to keep pace with other bone and disk issues as they come along, and there is no one else I ever want working on my back. I have been so lucky to have had his help on this journey. I wish all doctors treated patients as respectfully as he does, too, by speaking with you as if you do have a brain in your head. I keep thinking we need to clone him so more people could also have one of the best spine surgeons in our area to help them. (And his PA Nick is a heck of a great guy himself.) I just keep telling them---You guys cannot retire until I am sure we are done working on my back! You are the only ones I want caring for mine. Thank you so much for all you've done for me.

The wait time here was long in the past, but, today, it went very quickly. The doctor spent a good amount of time with me; things have definitely improved.

I have back and hip issues. Dr. Martin is my doctor. I highly recommend him to whoever may need consultation or services regarding these ailments. He is personable, engaging and very very thorough in analyzing and explaining the concerns surrounding these issues. He is also very punctual in providing means to hopefully modifying these concerns for the better. He is diligent in following up with the patient regarding any of these procedures in a timely manner. I, personally, really like him and am so glad that he is my doctor.

Wonderful experience on my first visit with Dr. Michael J. Martin MD. He was very pleasant and professional with his diagnosis as well as physical examination of the patient. I would recommend his practice to anyone that's suffering from lower back and sciatica pain.

Dr Martin seems knowledgeable and respectful. He seems like a nice enough person. In giving me my not so great news from my MRI, I wishes he would have set aside sufficient time during my visit to allow for my questions. He seemed in a rush to finish up with me after making me wait at least 15 minutes.

Dr. Martin is awesome. He is an excellent surgeon! He fixed me when I seriously thought that I would never walk again. Although that was many many years ago, I would not trust anyone else with my back care.

Dr Martin is very nice and straight forward in his approach.

I wasn't to impressed with the Dr's assessment, I have a hard time believing that being rear-ended doesn't effect all of the surgeries i have had didn't effect my body from someone going 35 to 45 mph I'm at a light , and I was in so much shock from wreck I didn't even call police department. But I called the fire department and they came to my home, but they called every hospital around Tac fed way and Puyallup. I heard it on Radio , do not bring him in cause of Covid, so I really don't think he looked at all of my surgeries from being picked up by cranes at port, to logging slings around my neck ,to knee replacement, from job injuries and that only half . So no I wasn't in agreement with him, except keep doing physical therapy and massage therapy.. I just would like to here the car wreck did effect my body, and is not the same since . Very efficient and complete. A thorough diagnosis and recommended courses of action.

Dr Martin responded immediately to my appt request, took time to discuss with me the issues of up coming surgery. AND he is personable and good "bedside" manner. He explained things well. NOW for the surgery to happen.
