Dr. Michael Lofgren

I am 71 and had implants removed and reconstruction for very large breasts by Dr. Lofgren. He answered all my questions before and after surgery. His team was there for phones calls and advice. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Lofgren for anyone needing this surgery. Thank you Dr. Lofgren - You are EXCELLENT!

When I was 16, I went to him for a breast reduction. He took my as his patient and I felt comfortable with him. He was super nice and understanding. Nice guy. Butchered my surgery.... unfortunately waiting for scars to heal to have to redo it somewhere else. Professional staff. Id look elsewhere there are many surgeons in the area.

Dr. Lofgren in Virginia was great. I got a tummy tuck and breast augmentation and the results were better than expected. After 2 months, I have zero pain and I'm able to exercise regularly. My scars are healing perfectly, and my body looks amazing with a flat stomach and full breasts (perfectly even and exactly the size and shape I wanted). Dr. Lofgren is a gift to us all, he did my first surgery last week and I have felt minimal pain he’s been with me every step of the way. I got my tummy tuck and lipo from Dr. Lofgren & from start to finish he was absolutely amazing. He's courteous, understanding, was gentle and knowledgeable about the procedure. He listened to what i wanted and gave me exactly that. He follows up with you after surgery and will be there every step of the way before and after the surgery if needed. Dr. Lofgren did my tummy tuck and lipo. He is knowledgeable, courteous, very helpful before and after the surgery and he gave me exactly what i wanted. He listens to all your needs and concerns and the surgery was gentle enough that I recovered a little faster than he expected. He's great at what he does and i highly recommend him. I have had three experiences with Dr. Lofgren. Two were for the removal of cancerous growths and one was for a rather extensive liposuction. He and his entire staff are professional and kind. My appointments were always on time, and the surgery experiences were very positive. I highly recommend him.

I love working with Dr. Lofgren -- in addition to being completely competent, he's kind and patient and he explains everything to me and answers all of my questions. He has a lovely manner. He tells me about his little girls and the "puppy" he bought them for Christmas :-) I would recommend Dr. Lofgren to my friends and family and I look forward to working with him in the future :-)

This will be my 4th procedure with Dr. Lofgren. Reconstruction due double mastectomy and revision. Dr. Lofgren has always been kind & professional. He explains every detail and answers all questions. Dr.Lofgren did an excellent job after having Moh’s procedure on my left cheek. With a rather large opening to close, Dr. Lofgren assured me there would be a very small scar when he was done. The results were more than I expected! He and his staff were very professional and courteous. I recommend Dr. Lofgren with no hesitation.

I would recommend Dr. Lofgren to anyone facing breast reconstruction surgery following a mastectomy. He has a wonderful "bedside manner" and is very attentive, informative and kind and puts the patient at ease in a potentially stressful situation. His staff is also very professional and helpful.

Dr. Lofgren is amazing! He changed my life. I traveled 6 hours to have him perform a tummy tuck, a redo of a previous breast aug (from a different doctor), and a mastopexy in July 2017. I have worked with many different doctors in my professional life for almost 15 years and Dr. Lofgren is one of a kind. He has an incredible bedside manner, he is caring and compassionate, and his attention to detail is nothing like I've ever seen. I used to work in an operating room where Dr. Lofgren would come to perform surgeries at times. After the very first procedure I saw him perform, I went up to him and said I was making an appt to come see him. He never met me before that and he laughed and said ok. I'm not sure if he thought I was serious or not, but I did go see him and it changed my life. I don't know many plastic surgery candidates who get to see the surgeon in action before they choose who they want to go to but I fortunately had that rare opportunity. And I would choose Dr. Lofgren all over again. I've consulted with 4 or 5 other doctors for these procedures in 3 other states, but something just didn't seem right so I couldn't follow through. When I met Dr. Lofgren in the operating room and then met him for a consult in his office I knew he was the one to do my procedures. I saw Dr. Lofgren after having a Mohs procedure to remove skin cancer from my face. Even with a wound about the size of a quarter on my left cheek, Dr. Lofgren assured me he’d be able to close the wound with a very small scar remaining. The procedure took approximately 35 minutes and I couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Lofgren is a true professional in every sense of the word, with a first-rate staff. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Lofgren treated me after having Mohs surgery. He was very thorough in his explanation of what he’d be doing to close the wound, and what I could expect in terms of recuperation. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results, and highly recommend Dr. Lofgren without hesitation. He and his staff are true professionals who place their clients first.

Dr. Lofgren and his staff provided excellent reconstructive medical care following Mohs surgery for skin cancer. I would highly recommend this practice.

My daughter and I are patients of Dr. Lofgren. My experience is from repair surgery of my nose. My daughter's experience is long term from a medical issue. On her first visit, Dr. Lofgren came into the room knowing her entire extensive medical history. He knew EVERY detail and was reassuring that she would have a good outcome. Lofgren and staff listen, explain, are compassionate, friendly, efficient, helpful and supportive. We joke about the Family Plan. Dr. Lofgren is our preferred choice.

As a skin cancer patient, I have been treated by Dr Lofgren numerous times. He is a total professional who actually keeps his appointments on time and the care is first rate. His staff is a mirror. They are polite, professional and totally focused on the patient.

The first time I met Dr. Lofgren I was working at a hospital in the operating room where he was performing a procedure. After I saw him in action I knew he was the one who was going to do the tummy tuck I've been wanting for almost 20 years. Dr. Lofgren has an incredible bedside manner and level of compassion that is like no other doctor I've seen or even worked with. Dr Lofgren is delightful; always asking if my last treatment was successful, if I have any questions, etc. He and his staff are pleasant, accommodating, and helpful.

After the first meeting with Dr Lofgren and his staff, you will realize you're in the best hands possible.

Dr. Lofgren's calm and kind demeanor makes a normally frightening ordeal much less stressful. I would recommend him for any level of plastic surgery, although mine has been for the removal and reconstruction of skin cancers. Thanks, Dr. Lofgren!

I had a great experience with the staff at Plastic Surgery Center of Hampton Roads. Dr. Lofgren was attentive and very knowledgable. I had abdominoplasty done in November and am very pleased with the results. I found the information given before and during the procedure to be helpful and the “how you will feel after surgery” physically and mentally timeline spot on. My experience with Dr. Lofgren and his staff was great. I got a breast augmentation and I always felt comfortable around the staff. They were all professionals and answered the questions I had before and after the surgery. Before the surgery, Dr. Lofgren explained everything to me and told me what he thought would look and work best for me. It has been 4 weeks since my surgery and I'm super happy with results! I will constantly notify the world of the awful experience I went through with Dr. Michael S. Lofgren. I survived Breast Cancer which was a Blessing from God only to go through years of a BOTCHED surgery from this Man. He inserted me with breast implants that felt like bricks and when I went back to him in distress he said there was nothing he could do. Thank God I was recommended to a surgeon who cared and corrected Dr. Lofgren's work. I will never recommend Dr. Lofgren!

I had the worse experience with Doctor Lofgren. He did reconstruction due to breast cancer and now I have implants hard as a brick. When I contacted Dr Lofgren he said there wasn't much he could do. I survived breast cancer only to have a poor quality of life. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
