Dr. Michael Livingston

I have had surgery on my right foot 3 times by another surgeon. My foot was still deformed and painful. Dr Livingston was recommended by a physician friend of mine and as a nurse that’s the best recommendation I think you can get and I was right. I had surgery 6 days ago and had my first post-op office visit today. My foot not only looks great, I’m also pain free. Dr Livingston is not only a great surgeon but also has a great bedside manner and fully explains all procedures. His office staff is also terrific.

If you want the best you got it with him. I had a small emergency when a needle broke off in my foot. Needed surgery to remove it. Dr Livingston took care of everything from the first minute we met. I felt super comfortable and if great hands. Everyone in the hospital called him the best and I now know why. Could not have been more please with him as my doctor. !!

He is the worst. Was going to do foot surgery over 3 operations while the second opinion surgeon did it in one!! He is a money-grubbing doctor who does not give any information before surgery, does not give indication beforehand that there might be an additional surgery required, and is nasty and rude and pompous to patients on the phone. Never go to him or his relatives for ANY surgery. Wouldn't even give him one star but wouldn't let me post this without pressing on one. He is the worst. Michael Livingston was wonderful! My first visit he diagnosed me correctly and took away my discomfort. I highly recommend this place. I can't wait for my follow-up visit.

I had my foot surgery last month and I am so happy with the way these procedure is been done . Dr Livingston is very professional he explains everything that you need to know about the treatment , I am still going to therapy twice a week and the Doctors that are giving me the therapy are so nice and friendly they know what they are doing , in general the whole staff is been so nice and friendly . I was referred by a colleague at work, and I was so happy with my treatment and the entire office experience.

I went to many Doctors to get their opinion on my bunion. They all gave me the same answer, three months minimum off my feet. When I went to Dr. Douglas Livingston, my first impression was, how well professional his staff was. They were efficient and very nice. Then I met Dr. Livingston and I knew right away he was going to be the one to help me. He was kind, funny and most of all honest and informative. He explained to me my options, his doubts and his expectations. He made me feel I was a family member and would do his best to get me up and running as soon as possible, which was a lot shorter then all the others. Long story short I had my surgery, NO pain, never needed medication for pain and a week later am walking in a boot pretty much doing my routine. Next week I get my stitches out and look forward to eventually dress up and back in heals without pain. Thank you so very much Dr. Livingston and crew for your kindness and professionalism. I would recommend you anytime!!!!

Rudest staff I have ever met. Walked in and said hello and was ignored so said hello again and she turned her back to me and continued her conversation with two other staff members and when I said something to her she walked away. Asked to speak to the manager of the office and she just stood there looking at me and didn't say a word? If they treat a patient who just walked in and won't even acknowledge you how much trust can you put into how they will treat your records or your condition. I will never go back there and would recommend anyone looking for a doctor to look elsewhere.

He is untrustworthy as a doctor and a person. He is more concerned about making money than patient care. I went for a bunionectomy and he talked me into a hammertoe surgery which I did NOT NEED. I am in more pain and having more problems with my foot since having the surgery. Furthermore, he insisted I have my post op therapy done at his office and I refused, wanting to go to my own therapist. The push back from him on this issue delayed my therapy and he made it impossible for my therapist to get my records so I could start physical therapy. The worst part of this whole debacle was the billing practices of his office. I was grossly overcharged for co-pays each and every time I stepped foot into his office, including my post op visits, which should have been covered during the global period. I have been fighting through my insurance company with his office to get my money back and his office refuses to refund me money. The woman that works in the billing department is rude and extremely nasty. I have no doubt they are overcharging every person that walks into that office their co-pays if they have Medicare and a secondary insurance, so buyer beware. They should NOT be charging you at the desk, they should be billing you. Furthermore, he insisted I buy a plastic boot to shower with after my surgery. He charged me $50 for this boot that I could buy on Amazon for $13. Stay away from this man and this office. He's a complete rip off artist and only cares about lining his pockets. They tried more conservative treatment options at first, knowing that surgery may be needed, never pushing me, but when it became obvious it was necessary we proceeded with it. He explained everything to me in great detail. That kept me calm and comfortable. The surgery went exactly to plan, but I would not have gotten through it without his caring bedside manner.
