Worst experience, bought a 500 dollar pair of glasses from comprehensive eye care. First of there the same glasses in the store that everyone tried on, received them and the still had the residue from the sticker on the glasses..

Dr was very nice drive 2 hours just to be told my child couldn’t enter with me……. Had to go back and when I walked in there was a lady sitting inside with kids? Receptionist was very very rude!!! Won’t ever return

I went to Dr. Lim earlier this year and I liked him and his staff!

Just can’t get anything right. Ever. I dunno. I give up.

I'm not the type of person to complain but this really got me mad I live 1hr. Away from carlsbad I get to the appointment for them to tell me that my kids cannot be inside because their are to many people, it would have been nice to know they only allow one person, I don't have anyone to watch them, But if I would have been informed when I made the appointment I would have gone somewhere else or made arrangements! Horrible and just looking to get paid. My wife has been having some kind of eye irritation for many years that bothered her with bright lights, the sun and scratchy eyes. All the Dr said was it was pink eye, we went down the street to another Doctor and they actually diagnosed her with an eye infection. It seemed like this Dr was just guessing to see what the issue was and had no clue so he said "Pink eye". I will never go back here again! Horrible and just looking to get paid. Dr. Lim and his staff were very professional and considerate. Dr. Lim diagnosed and treated me with the utmost care. I can't say enough good about them.

Was from out of town and was having some issues and they didn’t hesitate to help out. Better and had more customer service than Vision Source and any others eye doctor in town. So blessed and greatful that we crossed their path!

Very distressing when my mother has an emergency following an eye procedure and the doctor doesn’t even have an answering service or way to relay a message to him.

Amazing people. Just a great experience!!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Lim for almost 20 years, and we are very satisfied with his professional care and pleasant demeanor. We always receive personal attention when selecting and fitting new glasses or contacts, and the staff truly seems to care that we have a good fit!

terrifying this old guy needs retire

My son went to get his eyes checked and was scared. So they decided to cancel his appointment. When we called back to reschedule they had him on a do not reschedule list. That’s a bit extreme and they no compassion for kids and them being scared and timid about getting their eyes checked. We will not be taking him back there.

after having my exam done they sent me to the lobby to wait while they were getting my total price after everything and after 2 hours of patiently waiting I went to the front desk and told them what was taking so long and the clerk said they had forgotten I was still in the office lol. I'm a very patient man but this place definetly pushed it. They can look insurance up & see it is current & active but we got turned away from my daughters appointment for not having our insurance card at the visit. They also wouldn't even let me bring the card back later same day for them to scan & put it on file or whatever they "need" it for. ???? Complete & total inconvenience & waste of my time & gas. I live out of town do you really think I got money to blow & time to waste like that having 5 children?! That also means my daughter gets to struggle even longer to see the board in class & it IS affecting her grades. ???????????? Then the lady behind the counter says, "This is why I'm so glad I don't have to deal with Molina insurance after the first." So you're telling me that in 3 months I have to find a new eye doctor for my daughter anyway, thank's for the heads up, at least she did that. Sorry going somewhere else. Very unprofessional staff to begin with. I had gotten some glasses with them and they did not work for me. I could not see right at all. I told them about it and said they would try to help after doing tests on my eyes. When the results came back they told me everything was okay. Which didn’t make sense to me since I could not see with the glasses still. I asked them again what was going to happen with the glasses I had purchased with them. They said they couldn’t do anything anymore. Yet I wanted something to be done! Since I had payed over $400 for them in total. I then asked them to please either fix them for me in order to be able to see or to refund me! The manager decided to refund me instead. I went personally to speak to the manager Ofelia in person and she did not even have the courtesy to speak to me personally. She had another one of the girls speak to me. Dr. Lim is awesome!! Great personality and very professional. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I went in with a piece of metal stuck in my eye that had been there for 5 days. Needless to say, I was miserable. Very thankful for all the help recieved!!!

If you are on Medicare this doctor is not for you. He told me he didn't like Medicare. Once he gave me the wrong prescription for my eyeglasses. He gets very angry if you confront him with his error. He never did anything about my cataracts except kept putting me off so he wouldn't have to do them on Medicare. After going to him for 15 years I changed doctors. I wouldn't recommend Dr Lim for anything. He is like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. My new doctor did cataract surgery and now I can see.

Dr Lim is good but the eyeglass place horrid got my glasses and first day out of the case massive scratch deffenetly go some place else to purchase your glasses. Now have to deal with this issue Monday and will update the results.

Never dialates. I've been to exams with Dr. Lim twice and never once have I been dialated. That I can't understand. My niece went to him as a young teen and he told her mom that she was making up her low vision problems. I flew her to Atlanta, Emory hospital and she was diagnosed with Stargardt's disease and a cataract. A young adult who was legitimately partially blind. She only has peripheral vision and Dr. Lim couldn't diagnose her vision problems. Never dialates. I've been to exams with Dr. Lim twice and never once have I been dialated. We went in to have an eye exam to update the prescription and he made the prescription worse. Now we having to pay twice. I have discussed this coworkers and realized this is a trend. So my review is go some where else once or go to Dr Lim and pay twice.

Worse experience ever! Dr didn't not even two words and the lady that was "suppose" to help me with glasses just sat her butt down and didn't help me at all. Got my prescription and left! Last time I will go there and I'm not recommending anyone to that office! Very disappointed!

First off, I don't ever write reviews for any type of service or provider, especially negative ones, but I have had enough. If you are a cash paying customer, get ready to part with somewhere between $220 (glasses only) and $320 (contacts & glasses) just for the exam, you will be better off scheduling an appointment at Wal-Mart. If you have an emergency and are running late for the appointment, don't expect them to be willing to accommodate your situation or even be empathetic. I would rather drive 40 min to Hobbs to see the only other doctor who accepts my son's insurance than go back to this office.
