Doctor explained every procedure made me feel very comfortable

My visit was excellent. The Doctor and medical staff processed me timely and gave me excellent care. All my questions were answered. I felt that my examination was through and excellent.

I have been treated by Dr. Levine for many years. He is one of my favorite physicians. I am always very comfortable with his manner and I fully trust his judgement. I would strongly make the recommendation for anyone needing a urologist to see him!

On 6/20/22 my 86 year old Mom’s first visit with Dr Levin left her feeling happy & hopeful. She suffers from incontinence & easily embarrassed. Dr Levin was compassionate, respectful & really listened to what she had to say. Many doctors frequently dismiss seniors. When the doctor entered the room he said hello “nice to meet you both”. His assistant who checked her in was really kind and helpful in doing her sonogram. Dr Levin listened to all of her concerns & explained the next steps.. 2 tests that I scheduled. Even though he spoke with us for about 15 minutes and there’s no quick fix or magic pill to correct this issue yet; my mother left reassured that Dr Levin will do all he can to help resolve her medical issue. Upon him leaving the room Dr Levin said “it was nice to meet you both” My mom said I like him he’s so kind and respectful. I accompany my Mother to dozens of doctor’s appointments & I must say Dr. Levin should do a TED TALK on how to treat your patients right!!

After reading Christine's review from 6/6/22, I couldn't have been more shocked. My 80 year old mother's and my experience with Dr. Levine was the epitome of professionalism and concern. His examination of my mother was thorough as were his explanations of each step and procedure. During Dr. Levine's entire visit, he continually expressed caring and concern about my mother's physical health and her emotional well being. After he left, my mother couldn't stop praising his bedside manner and how reassured she felt in his care. As someone who is intimately involved in her mother's care, I would highly recommend Dr. Levine.

The worse bedside manners . He was belligerent and rude to my 83 year old Mother in the hospital and made her cry . We had him called in on a Sunday for a second option . He beyond rude to my mother and DID NOT even examine her . Stood at the foot of her bed and told her there is “No magic Pill” . The patient in the next bed as well as another hospital employee told me how rude he was to my Mom. Can not believe he calls himself a Doctor ! No care for the patients medical or emotional state. He should be ashamed of himself . I told him on the phone when I had to ask the nurse for him to call me . How would you like someone to treat his mother that way ? He is so rude and uncaring . Please stay away !! I will be putting in a An agrievance with my mother insurance company for lack of a consults cause he did nothing but insult and make my mother a emotional wreak . I will also be contacting the chief medical officer.

I'm not sure that going to the urologist is anyone's favorite activity. Dr. Levene makes this uncomfortable activity as pleasant as possible. It is important for men of a certain age to see a urologist. When I turned that age a friend of mine recommended Doctor Levene and I am so happy they did. I have been a patient at this office for over 5 years now and every visit whether its a routine check up or to address an issue is a positive experience. I would like to mention especially how accommodating the office is. Everytime I have had an issue that required a visit, they got me into the office right away. Lastly and perhaps most importantly I would like to mention how Dr. Levene takes the time to offer personal and compassionate care. Recently I was waiting for test results. Dr Levene was not in the office and was quite busy. It was a Friday and Dr. Levene did not want me wait the weekend worrying. He took the time out to get in touch with me. It was so helpful.

My urologist retired in 2016, so I switched to one his partners, Dr. Levine, highly recommended by doctors from NYU, where he received his training. In short. Love the doctor, but in all honesty, not fond of the procedures he sometimes recommends, but one has to do what one has to do. NOTE: If you need to see him, try and make an appt, as early as possible for parking is a nightmare, even with the valet they have.

Dr. Levine is knowledgeable and skilled clinician who takes the time to assess and measure all medical data before exercising a clinical decision. He treated me for BPH with a TURP surgical intervention. He explains all steps in the clinical process and advises as to what medical intervention is indicated and why. In addition to his clinical knowledge, he demonstrates an empathetic understanding of a patient’s medical condition and discomfort. His reassuring clinical stance is tempered by an appropriate, albeit unexpected, sense of humor. I highly recommend Dr. Levine for his diagnostic and surgical skills. The staff and the doctors were beyond excellent. Would highly recommend his office.

Dr. Levine is not only very professional but spends time answering any questions I may have. The nurses are so nice and very helpful. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Levine is absolutely fantastic a great doctor and a wonderful guy I switched urologists two years ago and luckily for me as I had prostate cancer which went undetected, Dr Levine saved my life and would always recommend and can’t thank him enough William

I was welcomed into the office by an amazing staff, Natalie is awesome and Kimberly, nurse, was awesome she explained my procedure clearly and made sure I was comfortable as the test went on until the end of the test. Kimberly was very knowledgeable, efficient, professional and kind to me. Doctor Levine is very pleasant, professional, prompt and thorough he answered all my concerns and I was very much impressed with the great service I received. I would recommend doctor Michael Levine to family and friends.

At a routine check up I noticed that my PSA had gone up a little. It was still within normal limits. However, I asked my doctor to recommend a urologist so I could follow up on it. He recommended Dr. Michael A. Levine of Advanced Urology Centers of New York. Dr. Levine did a physical as well as a blood and urine test. My PSA was actually lower, well within the normal range. However, Dr. Levine demonstrating a high level of initiative didn’t like the chemical breakdown of the test. His analysis of the relevant information led to his affective diagnosis of the situation. He had me go for an MRI. The MRI showed a couple of spots on my prostate. A fusion biopsy later showed prostate cancer. Being strongly motivated to achieve optimal results he organized a team to address my condition. Luckily for me, chemo is not necessary and radiation is the agreed-upon course of treatment. Had Dr. Levine not demonstrated an exceptional mastery of professional skills my cancer may have gone unnoticed.

Dr. Levine is a friendly, caring professional who listens carefully and explains things well! He performed the "REZUME" procedure on me and it has changed my life! I no longer have to constantly worry about where my next bathroom visit will be, and I get up only once during the night.

Dr. Levine has been an excellent doctor as far as treating my prostate cancer all the way through radiation. He was also unbelievably professional in treating and removing my kidney stone and stent during the covid crisis with minimal pain and side effects. I would highly recommend him to anyone because of his knowledge and surgical skills.

After being diagnosed with bladder cancer, I went to various Drs. For second opinions. It was Dr. Levine who impressed me the most with his knowlege and confidence on the subject of treatment. A true professional and very personable .

Dr Levine has been my urologist for over ten years. Over the course of that time he has been professional, knowledgeable and accessible. He recently performed a successful Rezum procedure on me that went exceedingly well, greatly exceeded my expectations and improved the quality of my life. I have full confidence in Dr. Levine!

My visit was as perfect as one could hope for. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment to do covid-19 screening...very necessary as I was quite hesitant to go to a hospital or any healthcare facility during this pandemic. They took every precaution to ensure my safety. Dr. Levine saw me promptly. I was in pain. I came in thinking I had one issue and after an immediate sonogram and great instincts he sensed my pain was from something else. He sent me for an an immediate CAT scan, which his office set up while I was on my way and within 1.5 hours he called me with the results. Muscle spasms in the kidney area are quite similar to a kidney stone which I had 7 years prior. Dr. Levine listened to what I was saying, watched how I was moving and his urgency to relieve my pain while keeping me safe was very apparent. He called me 48 hours later to see how I am feeling to which I replied, Great! A Dr. with both expertise and compassion is not always easy to find. A very thankful patient!

It was my 2nd visit,only because I decided to give it a chance.Wish I didnt bother,was in and out,didnt even go over the ultra sound they had just taken in the office.Wrote a prescription for something that couldn't be found or understood by the pharmacies I tried ,and dated it April 1st,it was March 5th?Was this a joke?

Dr Michael Levine is the most knowledgeable , excellent urologist I have ever had. He has helped me more than I could have imagined caring , compassionate & attentive I am so grateful I found him. I would highly recommend him& know that person would be in the best care possible. If there was more than 5 stars I would give him the highest possible.

I came to Dr. Levine with a serious urinary retention problem that was effecting my kidney functioning. He immediately provided me with a way to empty my bladder completely and help my kidney functioning return to normal. After that he performed prostate surgery (TURP). The surgery was completely successful! Dr. Levine is not only an excellent surgeon but he also was always very clear in explaining the treatment options that were available to me. He was always very professional but was also very caring. I will be forever grateful to him and would without reservation recommend him.

Side effects precluded my continuing to treat an enlarged prostate with medication. Dr. Levine performed an office procedure called Rezume. Gradually all symptoms related to urination, I.e., frequency, urgency, etc. , disappeared. However, be aware that in some cases recovery is longer than the 5 days suggested in promotional material. You will wear a catheter for 5 days (no fun). I wore large pads for about four weeks initially because of leaking and then for occasional minor bleeding.

Dr. Levine is an excellent physican. He is responsive to questions and very helpful. The medical care I received was great. I am 9 years free of my prostate cancer and would still be seeing him if I didn't move away from the area.

I suffered from an enlarged prostate that did not respond to medications. Dr. Levine recommended the Rezum procedure and explained the benefits and possible side effects. I had the procedure and a few weeks later started to notice improvement. No more straining or stopping/starting. It's now been almost one year and the results have been excellent. Dr. Levine and his staff were professional, informative and responsive to my needs. I highly recommend Advanced Urology, Dr. Levine & Rezum procedure

I had terrible experience with dr. Levine and his staff. He treated me almost a year for frequent urination with no success. For him you the patient are dollar bills nothing else. He recommend and performed the REZUM procedure without explaining any of the side effects. When on the second day of the surgery I got inflammation and called him he send me to Emergency Room because was weekend. Now I still have the same urinating problem plus one even bigger dr. Levine destroyed my sex life. AVOID !

Dr Levine and his assistants perform miracles. The Rezum procedure revitalized my life. I can't thank him enough.

Dr. Levine is one of the best. I've been going to him for quite some time now and he is always responsive and helpful. The office staff is superb and I feel very well taken care of on all my visits. I highly recommend Dr. Levine.

I visit this doctor on Aug 2016. He sent me for abdominal and pelvic CT Scan Never reach out to me for results Now 4 months later I received a call from my primary doctor letting me know about an abnormal result on the scans Dr Levine wasn't professional enought to make the call. I won't recommend this doctor to anyone. His lack of commitment to patients is frightening

I have been in the Health Care profession for over 30 years. I am absolutely delighted and amazed with the proficiency, efficiency, and caring of Dr. Levine and his staff. I can only wish that other professional offices would duplicate this level of professionalism. Thank you Michael and keep up the great work. Dr. Ed Cohen

Dr. Michael Levine is a wonderful urologist. I went to another urologist who wasn't able to help me with my kidney stones. Dr. Levine is very pro-active and was successful with doing lithotripsy to break up my kidney stones. He has a wonderful bedside manner and will even talk to you on the phone if you have a question, unlike many other doctors. I highly recommend him!!
