Hands down he is the best urologist in the low country

Excellent facility..clean, well signed and designated areas,.offices. Staff very pleasant and helpful as are nurses and interns. Dr. Langley is a perfectionist, he covers all the bases and leaves no question unanswered. His bedside manner is casual and relaxing. He explains your procedure from start to finish without any rush to the door. I highly recommend and endorse Dr. Langley.

Dr. Langley is an excellent physician that takes time to explain options for treatment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Langley's for a number of years. I believe that everything about his practice is first rate from Dr. Langley himself to his staff. The check in procedure on-line is simple and straight forward, and avoids unnecessary time in the waiting room prior to the scheduled appointment time. Later in life, any visit to a doctor can prove worrisome; however, Dr. Langley's manner is both reassuring and professional in every way. I always avoid writing public reviews such as this. But this unnecessary two week delay experience was exacerbated by a rude member of the administration. I was told by my doctor that I should see a urologist, and he made me believe it was a somewhat urgent matter. He sent a referral to Dr. Langley's office. After a week of waiting for Langley's office to call to set an appointment, I called them. I was told by a receptionist that I have two files (no reason given for this error) in their system, and neither contains a referral. I then called my doctor, who faxed the referral again. Three days later, still no acknowledgement of the referral from Langley's office. I then went to my doctor's office, picked up the paperwork including the fax log, and asked them to fax it again, and they did. Langley's office acknowledged receipt the same day, and I was told Jessica would call me to set an appointment. Four more days passed with no call from Langley's office, so I called them today. The receptionist told me no referral was received. She transferred me to Jessica, who also initially told me no referral was received. I indicated that the office acknowledged receipt four days prior. I was becoming frustrated, and it showed in my voice (no yelling, no rudeness, just frustration). Jessica felt the need to admonish me for that. No empathy at all, just admonishment. I explained I was worried. She told me she found the referral somehow then, and told me my condition was not urgent, so no appointment could be given for six to eight weeks (I'd made everyone aware two weeks prior that I'm only here on the Island another three weeks). So, the admin person made the decision not to allow me to come in within the window I'm able. I hope she's correct in her diagnosis of me. I am now back to square one, with worry, and no appointment. I was really impressed with this office. The check-in process was easy and seamless. The nursing staff was pleasant, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Langley was terrific. He took time to explain things to me and to ask questions. I’m on the road to recovery after just one visit.

Dr Langley is a down to earth tell it like it is physician. He is specialist with a family doctor approach to medicine and his patients. Highly recommended. His staff are equally competent and easy to deal with

Dr Langley did the systoscope on my 3/11/21 visit and everything looked good considering I had been wearing a cath/bag for over 2 weeks. He sent me home with a supply of self-caths and I had to use 3 of them before I got my urinary t track retrained again.

Not impressed with the care I've been getting. it appears that my condition is not going away with the methods he is using. The staff is not friendly and I wonder about the nursing competency.

Clearly the best Urology clinic and the best Doctors one could ever have. I would trust my health to no one else.

This was a telemedicine visit. Doctor Langle y actually called early which was really appreciated. He is always very knowledgable and aware of the latest research and treatment. His demeanor is friendly and relaxed, yet he is to the point when discussing my medical concerns and listens and responds to all my questions.

Dr. Michael Langley is an excellent Urologist. I have seen him in the past. The new biopsy of the prostate is a better diagnostic tool then the in office biopsy.

Dr. Langley takes his time with you and ensures you not only understand your diagnosis but ensures all of your questions are answered. Great personality and you are in good hands!

Dr Langley was great and very pleased with him and his services. The receptionist gets one star. While sitting in the waiting room, I overheard her talking to someone in the back and she is not only dishonest but rude and very unprofessional.

Dr Langley may not be aware that after seeing me and ordering an MRI and blood tests, I had to request a revised test as a PSA test was not included in the test his office had requested. Then they were in possession of my MRI result for 7 working days when my follow up appointment was cancelled with nothing rescheduled. I was then on the phone for 2 days attempting to gain results of the tests over the phone. At the end of the second day I was called and informed that a shadow was detected , necessitating a biopsy which would be scheduled the next 2 or 3 weeks. So much for patient care. I have dual citizenship and know that I would have been treated better by the National Health System. As a previous patient of Dr Langley's, I just think it's common courtesy if you make an appointment with a Dr that IF you're NOT going to meet with that Dr that your told that at the time you make your appoimtment. Especially when your asked to change the time and location you go to for your appointment. It also seems if you have to take the time to refill medical history the the staff your seeing should review it before meeting with you, at least as to why you are seeking medical attention. Explained the procedure clearly. All my expectations were meet in a timely manner. The girls in the office were terrific. I highly recommend Dr Langley.

Was admitted to HH Hospital, 4 day stay, saw Dr. Langley once. Seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Problem was trying to schedule a follow up appointment. His receptionists are so incredibly rude, one even raising her voice to me. I'm like, really! I could be bleeding out here..can you just please give me an appointment?! I ended up going to MUSC. No one deserves to be treated so disrespectfully, especially when your sick!

Great doctors poor support staff

The doctors are great, however, the staff is unprofessional ignorant and not very friendly. Many mistakes and unable to communicate correctly with patients. They even screwed up the work order for a hospital procedure.

Most unprofessional staff. People need to be reminded that this is a business and people are paying for their services. And when patients don’t get the answers they need in life-threatening situations than somebody’s not doing their job and somebody’s not minding the store. Very disappointed.

Communication with his staff is very difficult. They are like a wall between the patient and are very indifferent. However my experience with Dr Langley has been excellent.

He might wear scary socks, but he has exquisite taste in his choice of Allen Edmound shoes. Both myself and my husband have been seeing Dr. Langley for 13 years. As a frequent kidney stone patient I found Dr. Langley to be extremely skilled with lithotripsy. (lucky for me!)He is an excellent diagnostician as well. For the most part his staff has always been extremely professional. However a recent encounter was handled without the professionalism I have come to expect from this clinic.
