Dr. Michael A Keller

I was referred to Dr. Keller due persistent rectal bleeding. He promptly diagnosed the issue and thoroughly explained my options. The surgery confirmed an early stage cancerous tumor. Dr. Keller surgical intervention and follow care was first rate. He promptly initiated the appropriate staging process and subsequent referrals to oncology and radiation oncology. To date I have received superb care from Dr. Keller as well as the staff in his office and Texas Oncology. Highly recommend Dr. Keller.

Dr Keller discussed everything I needed to know about my situation in great detail and being proactive because of what he shared made this much easier than I expected. I have already shared Dr. Keller's info with others who asked about my situation. We discussed everything in great detail about what would be happening before, during and after my surgery and hospital stay. I am back to the active schedule and jobs that I was doing and am quite pleased with the results.

The staff is nice and friendly, from the front office to the surgical coordinator. Dr. Keller is great, he explained everything from beginning to end. He did a great job and made me feel comfortable throughout the visits.

Doctor with a high level of knowledge and many years of experience. Very educated. Doctor communicate with the patient with great professionalism and care. Always worry and care about the patient. Explains real problems and solutions in an accessible way. After communicating with the doctor, I have feeling of security and the fact that I can get the best treatment. He puts all his efforts to restore health to the patient.

Compassionate, easy going, competent surgeon. Feel very confident in his abilities to deliver the best outcome possible.

Absolutely ! I have had 2 family members become active patients of Dr. Keller's. Dr. Keller did an excellent surgical removal of my colorectal tumor; along with a temporary ileostomy, as part of my colorectal cancer treatment. He later took down the ileostomy; and now continues to provide my surgical follow-up care. He has a kind and compassionate bedside manner that I haven't found in many surgeons. He is awesome ! and has an equally awesome staff !

Dr. Keller is caring, and presents options of care relative to condition. My Rx was spot on, and treated my condition within a week.

Dr Keller is an outstanding doctor and surgeon who completely explains everything in a compassionate manner. I highly recommend him.

I think it was not good. I got a blood cloth removed about 3-4 weeks after it surfaced. Here I'm 2 years and 5 months after the operation still having horrible pain on the operated area after sitting for an hour having to work standing by my desk almost the whole day to avoid the pain. I read later on several medical webs that for the removal to work it has to be done within a week of surfacing or otherwise wait till it goes away by itself so you judge yourself...

Excellent from the time you walk in the door to completion of treatment

Just called at 4:20 in the afternoon. Samantha takes my insurance info and assures me they take it. She puts me on hold telling me she's looking for an appointment. About five minutes later another staff member comes on the line and tells me Samantha had to leave and she can't take the appointment nor can anyone else in the office, they'll call in the morning. The other person is reportedly in a meeting. Truly crappy office staff.

After being diagnosed with colon cancer I was referred to Dr Keller by Dr Muhammad Ali. Dr. Keller's expertise and professionalism is the reason I'm alive today. A Robotic Sigmoid Colectomy was performed through small incisions. After the procedure I never suffered much pain and I recovered quickly. I would recommend Dr. Keller to my family and friends.

Dr. Keller is a professional in all of his actions. He explained clearly to me at the first appointment what my diagnosis meant, created a diagram and treatment plan; and answered any questions I had. When the initial day of surgery came, I was still wrestling with a decision to have a mediport placed at that time or not. He patiently talked me through my concerns ( when he might have wanted to scream !). He has assembled a staff, like himself, caring and professional.

Dr Keller performed a colon resection due to severe and chronic diverticulitis. He is truly a brilliant surgeon and a seriously nice guy! I would recommend Dr Keller 100 percent!

Dr.Keller has been great dealing with my issue, started working with him while pregnant of both my two youngest children. During a pregnancy a Colon & Rectal surgeon or gastroenterology Dr normally don't attend pregnant moms. I was very lucky to find him and after having my two babies he operated me and has kept up with my healing process. Their is very few doctors that I can say are so caring and patient as Dr.Keller.

Dr. Keller was my father's surgeon and we owe him gratitude for not only his surgical ability but also his compassionate care and bedside manner. He patiently listened each time he visited us in the hospital bed and gave us family his undivided attention and addressed all the questions. My father was in the hospital for 22 days and spent two weeks at the Skilled Nursing Facility to gain his strength and mobility back. He came home two days ago. It was a journey and we thank Dr. Keller.

Doctor Keller was my surgeon when I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer when I was 30. He successfully removed my tumor, and I recently celebrated one year of being cancer free because of him. He's a great and caring surgeon with amazing bedside manner. You never feel like you're being rushed during appointments, he takes his time with his patients. I highly recommend him and his associates.

Dr Keller is amazing! He is kind, compassionate and highly skilled! He has excellent bedside manner and gave me so much information regarding the procedure I had. I felt empowered and well informed!
