Dr. Kearns, the medical staff, and the front desk professionals are so kind and experts in their fields. Recently dealing with painful ear infection. The office was able to get me right in. Dr. Kearns’ expertise, years of experience and professional bed side manner are simply unmatched and so very appreciated.

Always listens & provides effective treatments for our problems. Dr Kearns treats me & my Uncle (who is developmentally disabled). Always kind & patient. He has resolved problems I’ve had to live with for many years. He is the one dr who was able to clear up my sinus trouble. ?? The front desk lady it seems like she has a racist attitude, and she is not scheduling patients with the doctor, it is a racial discrimination that is taking place at this office. I wish Dr Micheal knew about this.

I have been seeing Dr Kearns for some time for various reasons - primarily, but not limited to, my throat. He has always been exceptionally thorough with his examinations and correct in his diagnosis. The treatment prescribed has always led to the complete resolution of my complaint. He is pleasant, thorough and explains things clearly and thoroughly. He is easy to talk with and patiently answers any questions. I’ve recommended him several times and will continue to do so. Dr. Kearns is the best ENT that has ever treated me. He has been following up on me for 2 years since I moved to Sacramento from Los Angeles. I was treated for tongue cancer surgically in 2017 in Los Angeles and Dr. Kearns has been doing my follow-up visits now that I live in Sacramento. He is extremely thorough in his exams on me, not only checking my tongue, but my neck, my nose, my ears are my throat. Plus he is very empathetic and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him if you need an ENT doctor!

I was told he could not help and that since i was from mexico that i should seek a doc that is hispanic due to his preference of his own kind . He is a good businessman, almost a good doctor and an extremely ambitious person. He is capable of prescribing medications that will deepen the illness. The reason I give Dr. Kearns four stars instead of five is that I had trouble at first in finding the office entrance.Once in the office, I found the staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Kearns was comfortable with his staff and worked efficiently. I will go back next year.

I found Dr. Kearns explanations of procedure most comforting - I knew what to expect. The actual procedure went better than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend him.

Well after 4 ear aches this year and several visits to the er and to my general practitioner he referred me out to see sac ent for further and or better treatment? Lol that is when the problems began, keep in mind I am fifty with decernable memories of ear aches and treatments including ear drum replacement surgery at 11! The point is that not anyone can decider my ear problem thus ENT DOCTOR. No but they use the old bait and switch with me and scheduale me with a PA NOT MD and to make matters worst they don't disclose that he is a PA til the third visit with him were he could not find anything and in the mean time I was going to erato get the relief I desperately needed! At one point the man I found out later was a PA David someting actually told me fungal infections in the ear cause no pain and he felt I might be overstating it to get him to write a script for pain pills! First I don't think he is qualified to write scripts and second I deal with my pain, it builds character something this company knows nothing about character, understanding, compassion! But they are very good at being belittling, offensive, abrasive and unprofessional! As far as doctor KEARNS is he is unprofessional and has a poor bed side manner I was at my second visit with him and he dismissed me once again like I was faking an ear ache! Yeah sure! I'm asking him questions he takes it as a challenge slides back the rolling chair and yells your to aggressive! REALLY your a doctor I'm in pain I need help I'm thinking, well I just walk out of the room and went home STILL IN PAIN if they weren't one the only gigs in town they would have a lot less patients people go to he because they have to, not because they want to! Professional would be the first word that comes to mind, but seems so inadequate when we describe Dr. Kearns and his entire staff. From the moment we are greeted as enter his office by his staff to the end of our appointment when he sums up next steps or treatment. Dr. Kearns really takes time to listen and research our needs and then proceeds with recommendations. Recently my husband was stung in the ear and having challenges hearing and Dr. Kearns not only took the time to evaluate, but took many steps to uncover some underlying conditions. His research and consulting with others is/was appreciated. During my visits, he was caring and sensitive to my needs and thorough which is more than appreciated. I had serious problems with sinuses since I was a child. Saw Dr. Kearns over 10 years ago and he performed a "balloon" clearing of my sinuses. Haven't had major problems with my sinuses since then. Last night the rubber dome on my hearing aid come off and stuck in the wax in my ear. My hearing aid specialist wasn't qualified to remove the dome. Called Dr. Kearns office and was able to see him immediately. Removed the dome and cleaned my ears of wax. Great!

Failed to diagnose my illness in a host of visits. One trip to a different ENT accomplished what Dr Kearns couldn't in a summer of visits. Didn't find the atmosphere in the office to be particularly positive and at times were downright rude. Found that the staff/Doctors didn't listen or care much. Would not recommend this office. Discontinued my appointments there without explanation.

I've had ear aches for over 6 years and have seen countless specialists to correct my condition. As soon as I was referred to Dr. Kearns, he took wonderful care of me, listening to all of my concerns and addressing each individually. He created a thorough and comprehensive treatment plan all while ensuring I was comfortable with his recommendations. I could not recommend Dr. Kearns enough!

I’ve been dealing with a ringing in my ear and ear pain for months. After seeing multiple doctors, I was eventually referred to Dr Kearns who has been outstanding. He asked a lot of questions and listened to gain a complete understanding of what I was going through. He discovered the problem and I am now pain free. When I read these reviews they did not square with my experiences with Dr. Kearns, where I have been a patient for almost 10 years. My impression of Dr. Kearns is he is a thorough and knowledgeable doctor who will explain his observations in great detail and doesn't mind answering questions. I recommend him without reservations.

I saw Dr. David Goldfarb at the Sacramento Ear Nose and Throat and I thought Dr. David Goldfarb was phenomenal! A very skilled, patient, sensitive and expert doctor. I can't recommend him enough! I came in with an emergency due to pain and loss of hearing in one ear and got taken the next day! I had a large fungus in my ear that had completely covered and adhered itself to my eardrum. he was so gentle and expert working inside my ear trying to remove it even though my ear canal was already very swollen and painful. He had all the most up to date equipment (stuff I could not imagine existed), and the place was comfortable and impeccably clean. I highly recommend him to anyone concerned about their health, or their families. I have been to three ear doctors to take care of my ear problems so far and he is by far the nicest most patient and expert. Doctor Kearns is well educated but focuses on the down side. He said he could fix my nose but it was complicated and I should stay with the medicine that did not help. Did not respond to my problems with the cpac just said use it more. I was/am already using it all night. It is like he is debating with himself and your not in the room. I have met Philosophy professors who spoke more directly and were more concerned about me.
